Missing content categories

I was recently supplied with a new BT Vision box.
On the old box when I was searching for something to watch, when there was nothing on Freeview, there was a page which listed programmes in various categories, eg documentaries, lifestyle, reality, etc. For the life of me on this new box, I cannot find that page, so I seem to be missing some content options.
Can anyone tell me how to find it again.......has it moved, or do I need to reload software or something.
I so wish I'd stayed with Sky :-(

Presuming you have the bolt-on you can look on TV Box Sets and then drill down into various categories (Comedy, Lifestyle, Documentary etc) for the on-demand content. For live stream/broadcast go to TV Guide from the menu, this again lists channels in categories (Kids, Sport etc)

WebHelp for multiple content categories doesn't include index_csh.html

I used to create output for a WebHelp layout with only one content category, with a start page of index.html. The output folder would include two additional, RH-generated files, index_csh.html and index_rhc.html. Within context-sensitive topics in the output, I sometimes linked to additional topics using the format
<a href="<path>/index_csh.html#topicid=<topic ID>,withnavpane=false...>, which opened the linked topic within the tri-pane help window.
I've just created another layout that uses multiple categories, with a start page of index.html for the default category, and now those additional files are not part of the output (neither at the root level nor in a category or subcategory folder). It wouldn't matter so much if the index_csh.html file was in a different or multiple locations; I still would be able to simply change the link path. But now there is no such file, and I'm not sure how to make my links work. Anyone know anything about this, or have any suggestions? There is next to no documentation about Content Categories in Adobe's help....

The _csh file is still there, but is has a different name. The start file of your content categorie is the name of the content categorie. In the content categorie with the name Content the start file is named content.htm and so there also is a content_csh.htm. As long as your content categorie is called Index, it should work. But that is a problem with multiple categories.
There are two viable solutions I can think of:
Identify all your links using the CSH and replace them with direct links to the topics. This is the only real solution to the problem.
The correct start page is available in the topic through JavaScript. I may be able to devise a JavaScript that gets the correct _csh file for the content categorie and replaces any links to the index_csh.htm with a link to the correct topic. This isn't a real solution, it's more of a workaround so your links keep working until you can create direct links to topics.

How can I show all missing content in iTunes library?

How can I show all missing content (ie. show the exclamation mark against each track)? I can restore the missing content but need to know what is missing without running each track.

One way to identify the broken links in your library is to create this set of playlists:
Lost & Found playlists
Create a playlist called Found, select everything in Music and drag it into the Found playlist. Create a smart playlist called Lost matching All the rules Playlist is Music and Playlist is not Found. Your lost tracks will be in this playlist.
Or use iTunes Folder Watch and enable its option to check for dead tracks on startup.

I transfered my iTunes library from 1 computer to another and am now missing content. How do I get it back?

I transfered my iTunes library from my old computer to my new computer using iCloud and an missing content. My iPhone still has my full library on it. I've synced my phone but the missing cntent wont transfer over. How do I get my complete library on my new computer? My old computer had windows 7; the new one windows 8. Dont know if this makes any difference.

Delete the garbage that has been created on the new computer.
Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer. Launch iTunes, everything will now be as it was on the old computer.

Still missing content after 9.1.6 "upgrade" and content re-installs

I updated to 9.1.6 and immediately I noticed that various .aif files were missing, from my ESX24 instruments and Garageband loops.
After reading other peoples' similar stories and solutions here, I spent some hours (and probably $$ for all the bandwidth) downloading and re-installing "Garageband content" (which showed needed updating) as well as the "Essential" and "Additional" Logic content packages (which were supposedly already installed).
After downloading about 7GB of stuff, I am still missing content, .aif files which are part of ESX24 instruments and Garageband loops.
I guess I'll continue downloading and re-installing the rest of the Jam Pack content -- about another 10GB -- and hope that I get that stuff back. No guarantees though, I suppose.
Apple, this happened to me once before, when I upgraded from Logic Studio 8 to 9. It's really, really maddening.

You'll need to either manually copy over the old content, or download the media packs after you install the 9.0 version. In the Application menu, select "Download additional content...". However, do NOT click the "Select All Uninstalled" and instead download each part separately. A bit of added work, but selecting "Select all uninstalled"is giving people fits in that you end up with a lot of "Download Failed" messages and nothing installs.

Missing content for inventory management (cube 0IC_C03)

Hi everybody,
I installed the following BI content for inventory management: Cube 0IC_C03, InfoSource 2LIS_03_BX and transfer rules from data source 2LIS_03_BX to info source 2LIS_03_BX. However, I'm not able to the update rule from info source 2LIS_03_BX to info cube 0IC_C03. I can only find the old update rule 0IC_C032LIS_40_S278 -> 0IC_C03.
I also couldn't find the update rule for material movements from 2LIS_03_BF to infocube 0IC_C03.
How can I find this missing content. We are using BI Content Release 704 Level 1.

unfortunately, I was not able to find a transformation for the datasource migrated to 7.0.
Btw, how do I determine to which version data sources are replicated. I have an underlying ECC6.0 system. When I replicate all data sources for that source system, datasources automatically show up as 7.0. I'm missing the pop-up question whether or not I want to replicate as 3.5 or 7.0.

Missing content, again!

I don't get this!
As an administrator of 15 workstations I keep getting this 'missing content' info.
With the 10.07 update everything was downloaded and installed.
'Download additional content' is greyed out. So, nothing much to do here, right?
But then we move a project from one computer to another. We often get: 'missing content'.
(And workflow comes to a 60 min. halt)
My point is: All computers should be exactly the same. But they are not!
Is this a corrupt download procedure or what?

Yes, it is really bad. Especially since this issue exists since the very beginning of appstore downloads. It is by far the most asked question/the most reported issue.
I resorted to adding Logic Pro to my firewall (a few years ago already), so it stopped connecting to Apple at every startup. I disable that for updates, but everytime I forget to re-enable, I get the same issue. Whatever the cause, they cannot seem to resolve it.

hi folks...you're be suprise i've dunn possibly EVERYthing to ressurect the missing contents of EXS24 and other sounds thats has been gone due to installation of Logic Studio...Now for those who transfer there LP7 to the LS8 songs sumtym get no strings and blah blah blah...to limit this down for you...
heres wat to do...
go on to garageband...
create new song and click the plus button to add a new software instrument and you'll get a panel on the rightside of the GB screen with ur desired instruments you'd like to use for to create music...now go on to strings...and you'll see the highlighted outcasted string such as hollywood string and others...double click on it and it'll ask to install GB componant/jam packs and click accept and follow instructions...as its all done and dusted you got all ur preset sounds on ur new logic and everything that wasn't working from LP7 to LS8 is now sorted...and works fully like LP7...lol
and i half expected that it wudn't work i'm now literally over the moon i can continue doing my mixtape...:D

wt i wasn't clear enough is to make sure you have garageband '08 and not garageband 3 or oldies...i figure dthis out wen i did the same on my macbook coz i originally done this on my imac...and figured out the software versions wer different in order to get these missing components...make sure you have Garageband '08 in order to get the missing samplers on ur logic..i've hoped i've helped you out...:) enjoy.

Missing content on ACE module.

I'm working on a configuration and after a few tests I realized it does not bring the whole content of the site. Most of the times a picture of two are missing. The site is ebay-like with many pictures, banners and flash.
If I right-click âShow Pictureâ the image comes up right away.
For testing purposes and to be able to work along with the previous solution, NAT is set.
So far, I have tried:
I disabled sticky on every serverfarm. It was ON at the beginning.
I changed the predictor. From response app-req-to-resp samples 4 to leastconns slowstart 30.
I tried IE7 and Firefox clearing caches and so.
I set OUTOFSERVICE different servers and made combinations in an attempt to identify a rogue server.
The show serverfarm detail showed failures a couple of times but I later realized it was not related because further testing showed missing content and a steady counter.
No resources were ever denied.
The solution to be replaced by the ACE works fine.
The installed version is c6ace-t1k9-mz.A2_1_1a.bin.
Any advice?

You did a lot of things wihtout knowing what exactly is going in the network.
The first step in troubleshooting an issue with ACE is to capture a sniffer trace of the tengig interface.
See if the server is sending redirect, or if packets are dropped, ...
Once you have the trace, if you can't see the problem send it to us with the config.

WebHelp Properties Settings Window Content Categories inconsistency

We are using RoboHelp 9 on a Windows 7 platform.
We are seeing what appears to be inconsistent behavior from RoboHelp when setting up a RoboHelp project.
These are the steps we follow:
Open RoboHelp.
Click Blank Project.
Enter title of project.
Enter location of project.
Click Finish.
Delete the "Frist Topic" file.
Select File > Project Settings.
On Project Settings, on the Import tab, in FrameMaker Document area, click Edit.
On Conversion Settings, click Image.
In Preferred Dimensions, select Width and Height.
Click Other Settings.
Select Topic Name Maker, and type in our custom marker name.
Click OK twice.
Right-click WebHelp (Primary Layout).
Select Properties.
In the WebHelp Settings window:
Click General, point to the output folder.
Click Content Categories -- and this is where RoboHelp appears to be inconsistent.
Sometimes the Content Categories node has a child node called Content <Default>, and sometimes that child node is not there.
As far as we know, we are following the exact same steps either way.
I am hoping someone who knows RoboHelp can tell us a simple fix to see the Content <Default> child node every single time.

We were creating a new project for every product. So...we were already creating a new WebHelp SSL for each product.
Your post gave me an idea for a work-around, and this is what I did:
Create the new RoboHelp project as normal.
Complete all 8 steps in the original post to see if the Content <Default> child node appeared (it didn't).
Closed the RoboHelp project.
Went back to a previous project that had the desired child node, and copied the WebHelp SSL.
Returned to the current RoboHelp project files and pasted the WebHelp SSL.
In RoboHelp, opened the current RoboHelp project.
Went to WebHelp (Primary Layout) properties.
Changed the name in the Title Bar field, and changed the location of the Output Folder.
Published content.
Everything is looking good! Thank you again.

Missing content of BI statistics table?

Recently ( Two months back ) we have upgarded our BW system To BI 7.0 and also activated its Technical content!
But the Table RSDDSTAT_OLAP has so many objects lists missing in its contents like infoprovider, Processchain, etc--
How to activate these missing contents so that i cud see these entries in the table RSDDSTAT_OLAP??

RSDDSTAT_OLAP db view is only relevant for front-end & olap statistics. Here is a list of all the source tables:

Content Categories Causing Install Error Robohelp 9

I have spent the week troubleshooting an error I receive when updating an installed version of my AIR Help project with a new revision. I have been careful to keep the "Help ID" the same and only increment the "Version." This has worked many times in the past for this same project.
The only variable that has changed in this new version of my project is that I am now using "Content Categories." I have noticed that when using Content Categories, the structure of the "/Data" installation directory is very different. Has anyone else experienced errors when trying to install a AIR Help revision after using Content Categories?
Installling the revised project (with the new Content Categories) to a new installation directory works fine.

If I am reading your reply correctly, when using the same layout if you just increment the version ID it is now working OK.
In one of my tests I created a second layout but I did so using the Duplicate Layout rather than creating a new one. That worked fine. I can only conclude that something in the new layout is not quite the same, if it is a new layout rather than a duplicate.
I doubt it is necessary to always use the same layout as if that were the case there would be problems if a layout went corrupt.
To investigate further I would need to share the latest files with Adobe. That would require the two files where you just incremented the Version ID (11.0 and 11.1) and the AIR file from the new layout. I assume that is intended to work as an alternative 11.1 update to the 11.0 file. In other words in Test 1 you would install 11.0 and then the first 11.1, in Test 2 you would have to first uninstall that 11.1, then install 11.0 and the second 11.1 file.
First though what I would do is uninstall all again and then use your new layout to generate first 11.0 and then 11.1. In other words two versions from one layout, albeit a different one. If that works I think it points to a difference in the two layouts.

Iweb '08 - frustration with missing content

if anyone can help me, i am slowing going crazy with the frustrations that i have had since i upgraded to iweb 08 about 2 weeks ago.
firstly i have had to rebuild my website twice, as the domain file didn't exist at that point.
so my issue is this - my website is built and looks fabulous, however each page in the iweb program constantly has missing content, and i have to continuously re-add everything back in - there are "question marks" all over where the content SHOULD be and where IT WAS. this is causing so much more work for me, and i just don't have the patience to keep screwing with the program.
if anyone knows how i can fix this problem, please respond!!

After you installed iWeb '08 and ran the updates, did you restart your Mac?
Quit iWeb.
Delete the Preference file - Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWeb.plist.
Restart your Mac.
Run Disk Utility to repair permissions.

Content categories cause error

I just noticed the other day that using content categories causes an error in the output (see below). I verified this with a new test project with the same result. It is independent of the browser used.
All is fine if I manually open the start page in one of the subfolders in the Webhelp output. E.g., if the category is named "admin" then open the file "Admin.htm" in the subfolder "admin".
It looks like a script error to me, as if a variable was not resolved to set the correct file name for the start file. Any ideas? This in Win7 64bit.

I know the samples work OK on both 32 and 64 bit and Windows 7 and 8. You appear to have opened the sample that is in Program Files and you cannot fun it from there, that is a backup for the copy in your user profile.
To open the copy in your profile, click Open on the RoboHelp Starter page and then click Samples in the ribbon on the left.
First see if that works.
