Missing CRT - for Enhancement Pack 6 SP6 Upgrade

performing an upgrade on on the config phase of the prepare i get an error due to a missing CRT file -
2EETN388 The following CRTs of the Add-On "FI-CAX" rel."604" must be included as well:
3WETN389 CRT &4"SAPK-60406INFICAX" for Support Package &1"SAPKH60406" of software component &2"SAP_APPL" rel.&3"604"
checked in the market place for the missing CRT file but cant find it
can anyone help ?

I think EHPI means you need to include SAPK-60406INFICAX in the same queue with SAPKH60406.

a) What is the SAP standard process to start with Security bit.
b) Do we need to run SU25 steps. If yes, which one of them.
c) Since the purpose of applying EHP4 was to activate few set of new business functionalities, we intend to affect the existing security design at the minimal. What is the best approach for this.

For your second conflict, you need to download the Support package 15 for SOLMAN.
This will fix your problem,
You could check this information in:
1) https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/ocs-schedules
2) click in SAP Solution Manager Support Package Schedule
3) Search the SAP Solution Manager 4.0 and find the SP 15, in the table you could find that the support package resolves the problem with the component SAP_BASIS SP 14

Enhancement Pack 2 impact on ESS for ECC 6.0

We are planning to upgrade one of our systems (evaluation system) from EA-HR 600 to EA-HR 602 (Enhancement Pack 2 SP2)
There's some ongoing ESS configurations (just ESS) on this evaluation system.
What is the impact of an Enhancement Pack 2 import/upgrade towards the existing ESS configurations ?
Has anyone experienced extensive 'overwriting of existing ESS configuration' or does the EnhP 2 introduces new functionalities leaving the existing configurations untouched ?
Do ESS functional folks have to redo the bulk of their config ?

Its requirment in my company to to upgrade the enhancment pack.I work on patch but i m confused regarding enhancment pack.
Is both are same?Right now my basis patch level is SAPKB70015 Basis Support package 15 for 7.00 .Same with cross aplication componenet SAPKA70015 ABA SUPPORT PACKAGE FOR 15 FOR 7.00.
So i have to increse the patch level.

Enhancement Pack 6 timeline?

Does anyone have any information on the timeline or planned improvements for Enhancement Pack 6? I know EhP5 is in Ramp Up now. I am trying to evaluate whether to go forward wtih EhP5, or wait for EhP6, but want to compare the planned improvements between the two. Thanks!

Hello Michelle and Kumar,
so far the details of EhP6 were not released to customer, and the internal information is very restrict. We don't have access to it's characteristics, functionalities, etc.
The information we have so far is that its productive use will be released in 08.11.2011 (Ramp-Up phase), it'll be made available for customers unrestrictedly in 07.05.2012, its mainstream maintenance ends in 31.12.2015 and its extended maintenance ends in 31.12.2017.
But as said above, the above dates are planned dates and are subject to change.

Query on Enhancement Pack Upgrade/ Installation-Business Functions install

I am working on an Enhancement Pack Upgrade. I have the following questions from the Client, can you please help answer u2013
Scenario u2013 Upgrade from ECC 6.0 to ECC 6.0 EhP4
1 Using Business Function Prediction service, assume SAP recommends 10 Business functions to be installed. We install the 10 business functions and after 6 months the client realizes that there are some more functions which will help business.
a.What does it take to install the additional business functions.
b.Do we have to do the entire EhP4 Upgrade again
c.If we have to do the entire EhP4 Upgrade again what happens to the initially installed business functions, will that be overwritten
d.What will be the additional SPDD and SPAU effort to activate the additional business functions, will that be same as the initial SPDD/ SPAU effort.
2 Can we install all the Business functions available in EhP4. What happens if we install all the business functions. What will be the additional effort or overhead in terms of hardware, database, ABAP effortu2026..?

Hi,
1. For installing additional business functions you need to again run the whole EHPI process. But what I feel is even you install more than 1 business function you will be able to activate only 1 business function per system.
2. The initially installed business functions would not go anywhere. You need to select them in your solman before the stack.xml file generation.
3. SPAU/SPDD effforts depends on your system. So no comments.
4. If you plan to install all business functions then you will need good amount of DB space and your upgrade downtime would be high.

Performance Issue with RF Scanners after SAP Enhancement Pack 5 Upgrade

We are on component version SAP ECC 6.0, and recently upgraded to Enhancement Pack 5. I believe we are on Net Weaver 7.10, and using RF scanners in one plant that is Warehouse Managed. Evidentially when we moved to EHP5, the Web SAP Console went away and we are left with ITS Mobile. This has created several issues and continues to be a performance barrier for the forklift drivers in the warehouse. We see there is a high use of java script, and the processors canu2019t handle this. When we login to tcode LM00, on a laptop or desktop computer, there are no performance issues. When we login to tcode LM00, with the RF scanners, the system is very slow. It might take 30 seconds to confirm one item on a WM Transfer Order.
1.) Can we revert back to Web SAP Console, after we have upgraded to EHP5?
2.) What is creating the performance issues with the RF Scanners now that we switched over to SAP ITS mobile?
Our RF Scanners are made by Intermec, but I donu2019t think that is where the solution lies. One person in our IT Operations has spent a good deal of time configuring SAPITS to get it to work, but still it isnu2019t performing.

I am sorry I did not see this earlier.
I'm currently working on a very similar project with ITS mobile and the problem is to accurately determine the root cause of the problem in the least amount of time. The tool that works is found here: http://www.connectrf.com/index.php/mcm/managed-diagnostics/
Isolating the network from the application and the device is a time consuming process unless you have a piece of software that can trace the HTTP transaction between host and device on both wired and wireless side of the network. Once that is achieved (as with Connect's tool) you can then you can begin to solve the problem.
What I found in my project is that the amount of data traffic generated by ITS mobile can be reduced drastically, which speeds the response time of the mobile devices, especially with large number of devices in distribution centers.

World Pack instruments missing in Garageband after Logic Pro 8 upgrade...

i have installed the Logic Pro 8 upgrade on my imac and have a slight problem... all of the jam packs show up in Garageband (4.1) except for World Pack... the loops are there, but the instruments are not appearing (they do work in Logic however... anyone?

Security upgrade with Enhancement pack 4 on ECC6

Hi Everyone,
Perhaps you already know SAP is prompoting upgrade via Enahncement packs
so we have upgraded ECC6 with Enhancement packs 4 and now that we have doen this , if you want to create a role in PFCG this prompts tp peform steps 2A to 2C in SU25
my question is
1.Did any one upgrade to EPH4 on ECC6
2.If you did , did you perform the steps ( 2A to 2C in SU25)
3.And also if you perform 2A and 2B , does this already write entires in PFCG ?
Any thoughts ?

Please remember that the Portal is part of the SAP NetWeaver, so all the improvements will be contained in the EhP for NetWeaver.

In Third-Party Order Processing for subcontracting - Purchase orders for products that are finished by a subcontractor and sent straight to the end customer. PR created in Sales system are processed further in this scenario where you direct your SC Vendor to send the material to your customer.
Although its a standard third party scenario with sub contracting job involved in it.
There is not much information we have in SAP help. This is ECC6 Enhancement pack 5 feature.
If any one has worked on this, I need a process flow to understand this process.
