Missing Database info?

Any kind soul:
I am working through the Java tutorials. I am currently in the first module, Connecting to Databases.
According to the info the Servers window includes a Data Sources node, which shows all the data sources that are added to the IDE. The Java Studio Creator IDE comes with an embedded database management system (DBMS), which is prepopulated with sample schemas.
While going through the interactive part it says to:
Try It:
Create a page, make it the start page, and drop a Listbox component onto the page.
Right-click the Listbox component and choose Bind to Data from the pop-up window. Click the Bind to Data Provider tab and click Add Data Provider. In the Add Data Provider dialog box, select Data Sources > Travel > Tables > TRIPTYPE and click Add.
When I try to select Data Sources > Travel > Tables > TRIPTYPE and click Add, the node doesn't expand and sometimes the plus/minus button just disappears, other times it gives the error message below:
Java.security.PrivilegedActionException : Error opening socket to server localhost on port 21527 with message : null
I assume that this means that I don't have the required database data or the links to them.
Can you give me a solution, ie. instructions how to update these fields or download the required database info.

I have a similar issue but the error is: - "Connection authorization failure occurred. Reason: userid invalid." I do not remember choosing a userid or password during the installation. User id on the modify data source window for the Travel data source is travel. Can someone tell me what is the default userid and password for the bundled db.

BO XI R2 Change design time database info

Hi,
I have created a report and deploy it in the developpement BO Enterprise server (with the "Use original database logon information from the report")
Now that this report is moving to the testing environnement I need to change those database info (with "Use custom database logon information specified here")
It doesn't seem to work.
My databases are all sql server.
This problem seem to occurs when the report is based on a stored procedure (since the full sp name is keeped databasename.dbo.spname)
Any idea?

Symptom
The Integration Kit for Baan driver displays incorrect time data in reports. The time is off by an hour between the dates marking the old Daylight Saving Time (DST) and the new DST change.
Cause
DST has been changed to occur earlier in the year. The Integration Kit for Baan does not pick the new settings up.
Resolution
There are files called ZONEFILES on the BAAN Server. These files must be already updated on the Baan server side.
The Integration Kit for Baan installs our own version of these files in the following folder:
\Baan\Native\lib\ZONEINFO
on the hard drive where the Integration Kit is installed.
Back up these files on the Crystal Reports/Business Objects XI computer, then put a copy of the ZONEFILES from the Baan Server to the computer where the Integration Kit for Baan is installed.

System Monitoring setup: missing database

I would like to set up System monitoring functionality for satellite system in SOLMAN.
The following problems occurred:
1) Missing database component of the system in System Monitoring set up
Usually the system has the following components in System Monitoring set up:
a) SAP Application Server
b) Server <servername>
c) Database <SID>-Database
For my satellite system the Database component c) is missed.
How can this component be activated? The satellite system has MaXDB
2) Missing system entries in tcode RZ20
I miss the entries of the system e.g. Shortdumps Frequency, AbapErrorInUpdate, Shortdumps in tcode RZ20.
How will the system values added into the RZ20?

Tried Following Steps as
. Call transaction SE14.
. Enter the name of the table and choose "Edit".
. Choose "Indexes".
. Select the index and choose "Choose (F2)".
. If you choose "Activate and adjust", the system creates the index again and it is consistent.
. Check the object log of this activation.
. If an error occurs, eliminate the cause and reactivate the index.
But could not create the index
Following Error Occured
SQL STATEMENT COULD NOT BE EXECUTED
INDEX COULD NOT BE CREATED COMPLETELY IN THE DATABASE

I've been wrestling with an epson scanner/printer I got free with my mbp a year ago. The printer worked fine, but every time I tried installing the scanner drivers, I was foiled by the error message "missing file: info.plist..." I was reduced to scanning on my sloooow dell desktop at work. After a few rounds with epson support, they suggested I install the drivers on a different user account on my computer. Problem solved! It works, even on the original user account.

Missing types info in array manager?

I have a doubt regarding "Missing types" shown once in a while on the Array Manager in the emulator sessions.
I want to know wat exactly this means and how can we see wats missing

"Missing Types" should be a temporary state. It is the difference between webtop and emulator session counts and can occur while replication updates are being performed. If "shown once" then it is of no concern. If you see this consistently then it could mean that you have Security enabled and you need to tune the number of ttassl processes running.

The strange thing is that it's from FIleMaker, which Apple owns, so it's Apple software. I guess they wanted to make sure people knew FileMaker existed, so they are releasing it under that company.

It seems that most of the posters don't wait the same thing than me under the name database.
Bento looks well but it's capacities are far less than the AW6's database.
Nothing looks like what we call a report in AW.
Just a subtotal tool with 5 or 6 functions and this tool is available only in List mode.
To be more precise, have you try to find where your datas are stored?
They are in a single package.
Your DVD descriptions are mixed with your cookbook recipes.
It's not a database, it's just a pretty shoebox.
I will not use it to keep track of my pottery archives which are, at this time stored in what I call an "enhanced AW6's database".
Funny complementary detail: thanks to a huge bug in Numbers, a CSV generated by Numbers on a machine whose system works with a decimal comma can't be imported by Bento.

I've had my iPod touch for a few days now. Everything has seemed to sync perfectly. My bookmarks, calendars, and photos are all there. But there's a majority of my contacts who are missing their info. Even my own card is missing info from it. Can anyone help?

I've got the same problem. I first synced some groups but then decided to sync my entire address book. Now there are some contact with no information in them. When I complete the missing information on the iPod touch and sync back the entered info appears along the existing info in my mac's adress book.
Strange thing. I heard someone say that it might be a problem with the format of the vcards but that would be strange. Hopefully this will be solved soon.

Problems with iTunes 7.1.2 : Missing Contacts Info !
I synced my iPhone 5s (running v 7.1.1) to my late 2010 MacBook Pro 13" (OSX 10.9.4) using iTunes (can't remember exactly which version of iTunes, but whatever was the latest around the end of May 2014).
Subsequently, I upgraded my iPhone 5s to v 7.1.2 and also upgraded iTunes to 11.3.1 (2), then synced my 5s to my MacBook Pro.
Following this, on both my iPhone and on my Mac (I don't use iCloud), many of my Contact details had reverted to a much older version, and most of the information under the "notes" field in each contact was missing.
Is there a way to revert to the prior version of iTunes (7.1.1) or otherwise restore this missing information? There is critical information in my Contacts that has now ceased to exist!

Often in upgrading the OS, QT or FCP for some odd reason QT will get knocked slightly off kilter. Before doing the step back to 6.5.2, try a complete QT reinstall.
This is how:
Go to /library/receipts and delete any files that say Quicktime followed by a number e.g. Quicktime703.pkg
Go to the Apple quicktime site and download the appropriate version of Quicktime to your hard drive.
Run the Quicktime installer.
Repair Disk Permissions for your System Disk (Disk Utility > Select the system disk > Repair Disk Permissions)
Reboot
FWIW, FCP4.5 can run without issue under 10.4.x and QT7, but it is VERY stable under 10.3.9 and QT6.5.2.

Hi,
To run this command, you need to import AD model first. You can run this command on server which is DC server.
1. Open Windows Powershell.
2. Run the Import-Module activedirectory cmdlet.
3. Now you can run the get-aduser -filter * -properties * | fl cn, homeMDB command.

Checkstyle warning: Missing package-info.java file

Hi,
I'm getting a checkstyle warning for a simple class which looks like:
package tools.interprocess;
* Class for testing RMI.
* @author spinth
public final class RMITest {

     * @param args User arguments
    public static void main(final String[] args) {
}The warning message says: Missing package-info.java file
I really couldn't figure out what this means and how I can fix it. Do I have to add something to the source tree?
I'm using Eclipse for development and Eclipse-cs as my checkstyle plug-in.

If you don't want that warning then simply turn it of.
A package-info.java file is there mostly to attach JavaDoc to the package itself.
If you don't need/want that, then the checkstyle warning is useless. Checkstyle (and similar tools) are meant to be tweaked to your needs and not used blindly.

Configuring a database and get an error: Bad public user name or password. Missing database property.

I have had the bad user name or password other times and resolved it. I looked up Missing database property in Oracle's knowledgebase. The closest response I found to my question said they didn't really know what causes this error. New installation of Primavera version 7 on user machine. I have done numerous database configurations setups with no issues.
Has anybody ever encountered Missing database property?

Please check your oracle client version is correct.
Also try with re-installing oracle client.

Kinterbasdb AUR build missing package info file

Not sure what this means, but used the AUR PKGBUILD and the download didn't resolve, so manually copied the file to the directory from the project page. Package seemed to build ok but on installing it gave message ... load_pkg: missing package info file in kinterbasdb-3.2.src.tar.gz
Any help appreciated.

How stupid am I, build these packages all the time, hit the tab key and tried to add the wrong package.
Profound apologies for my stupidy and wasting your time - worked fine of course now.
My only excuse is of having just done a total system upgrade and being agitated that my postgresql won't start!!!!!!!!! and doing > 1 thing at the same time.
