Missing day in the calendar

Has anybody else noticed that Oct 15th appears twice in the calendar, whereas Oct 16th is missing?

IMO, if it's just one day and it's just the label/text in the calendar, I wouldn't worry about it... easy enough to work around.

Father's Day in the calendar...

My iPad and iPhone does not show Father's Day in the calendar when I turn the US Holidays on... It shows Mother's Day along with all the other random holidays (Lincoln's bday, Palm Sunday, etc.) Anyone know why?

Father's Day apparently is not as important as Mother's Day.
I was bummed to find out. Not that I care about the date and look forward to it every year, but it is still a poor oversight on Apple part and Apple has yet make attempt to fix it. Actually, I was surprise this is an Apple over-sight because Apple is usually attentive to details.

In Settings > Notification Center, try turning "on" all the six buttons under "Today View". Also turn "on" the top two buttons under "Access on Lock Screen". Doing that should show you "Tomorrow" at the bottom of Noticiation Center.

How can I alter a calendar script to place progressive dates on every day in the calendar year?

Is there an easy way either to alter the calendar script or create something that will allow for variable text in each day of the year?
I am creating a calendar for a cattle rancher, and he wants to include a gestation calendar in the design.
So...instead of the Julian date on every caledar day, he would like to include the date that a calf will be born if the cow had been bred on a particular day. For example: On the calendar date, January 1, in that box, another smaller date will appear - 10/9, On January 2 - 10/10 and so on. But, I need this progression to continue throughout the whole year.
I have attempted to manually enter each date in a separate table and super impose it over the calendar, but this is very slow and very tedious. There has to be a faster way.
I am comfortable looking at code and can often times figure out which fields to change, but I am a bit lost on this one. Where do I start?

That helped, but still did not solve the "continous scroll" question.
I did however discover that if you go to Search and type in a "common" letter like "s", a Continuous List view will appear.
Any further help on how to do this as a default view would be appreciated from any and all.

Hi, I´ve some date attributes in tables (type DATE), and when I put them in a page from the data control, appear the fields like object calendar. But when I push in it to insert a date in the field, the calendar begins on Sunday. I´m spanish and I´d like that begins on monday.
How can i success it???

Has anyone else had the day view crash calendar in iOS 7.1 on iPad Air?

I recently updated to iOS 7.1 on my iPad Air (128 GB cellular). When I go to the calendar app and select the new "Day" view, the calendar app crashes.
I have iCloud calendar and two Google calendars syncing with the device. When I disable all calendars from syncing, I no longer experience a crash in the "Day" view.
Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Switching to day view doesn't crash calendar but I can't launch the calendar app in iOS 7.1 (on my iPad 2) if synch is in and it was last in day view. It crashes on launch.

Why doesn't the calendar carry the event title over multiple days?

When creating a multiple-day event, the calendar does not carry the title over all of the days in the event. In IOS6, this worked, but with the new IOS7, it does not. Has anyone else had this problem?

ICal displays twice the same date on the calendar

Ater upgrading to 10.6 and 10.6.1, iCal messed up previous calendars, duplicating a day in the calendar. Specifically, in my case, "Saturday, 17th October" appears twice, one after the other (in portuguese). This affects all future events, which now are shown one day earlier than they should.
I've seen this bug in iCal before, some time ago, so perhaps it is not something specific to this version. Anyway, it is hard to believe that such errors can occur... embarrassing.

I think I got it (at least for me)! The time zone comment from "The Cowboy" got me thinking . . .
I set my System Preferences, Date & Time to another time zone with the same offset from GMT as where I live, but a place without Daylight Savings (Lima). I then exported a VCAL from Palm Desktop and imported into iCal. It worked!! The single all-day events were not 2-day events no matter when they were on the calendar (DST or not). The single day events at a specific time were all correct for their time of day, again no matter what month they were in.
Next step, the iPod. I set my Settings, "Mail, Contacts, Calendars," Calendars, Time Zone Support, ON, Time Zone of Lima. Then synced m iPOD with Info, Calendars, Sync iCal set, and voila, everything shows up exactly as I want.
I think I might have "turned off" the Daylight Savings processing and I don't know what else it might do, but for now, it works. What a way to run a railroad, though.
I never have liked iCal with its impossible colors and too-small display. This DST thing puts a nail in the coffin for iCal for me.

Day link - want Item to contain day number from calendar

I'm a bit stymied here.
Using the calendar, I would like to add a branch to a page based on the DAY of the calendar that the user clicks on. For example, if the calendar is on the screen, and the user clicks on day number 15, then I would like that "15" passed to the page that the user is sent to.
Being a little more specific:
Page 1 is a calendar page. When the user clicks on a day number in the calendar, I want it to branch to Page 2.
Page 2 contains a text field for the calendar day. I would like to populate this field with the day number selected on Page 1.
I can't seem to get ApEx to do this, but it seems like an obvious feature that users would want if they're using the Day Link functionality at all.
Can anyone help??

I just tried creating a custom calendar template. There I changed the Weekday Attributed / Day Title Format to the following:
<a href="f?p=&APP_ID.:2:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.::P2_DAY:#DD#"><div class="t10DayTitle">#DD#</div></a>
and this worked out.
You also need to change the
Non-Day Title Format and
Weekend Title Format
the same way, in order to cover all dates.

Why are events that have passed being erased in the calendar

WWhy are events that have passed being erased in the calendar. I like to keep a record of what I have done on any given day, and the calendar keeps erasing things like doctor appointments, etc.

Setting
Mail, contacts and calendars
scroll to the calendar part
'sync events'. You can go back up to 6 months or 'all events'
Just be aware that those events contribute to the 'other' that uses up your device's memory, so you'll want to balance the data you keep with the space you want to use

How can I fix the calendar list view - it repeats days and misses entries

My iPhone has started to repeat days when I look at it. Some of those days have complete data for the day, other miss out lots of appointments.
I get this problem only in list view.
This month, as I scroll down the dates, i get 4th sept, 5th, then back to 4th, 5th, 6th, then back to 5th, then 6th, then 5th...
The data on each day varies (some entries missed, some repeated every time the day appears)
All the data is correct on my mac and on other views on the phone.
My data is synced over cloud and I share some of the calendars with a couple of other icloud users.
It is very annoying as I find the list view such a good way to look at my calendar. Any suggestions for a fix welcomed as turning it off and on and turning icloud syncing on and off has not helped.

I am replying to my own post here as I seem to have fixed the problem.
I do have some calendars that are shared. Some of those are shared with users who have time zone support turned on. So i activated time zone support on my iphone, then deleted my icloud subscription. I then signed in to icloud again and voila... problem solved.
It is a weird one as the other calendar views were always fine and when you opened an event that appeared in the wrong day (on list view), the correct date of the event was shown in the information...

Having the same problems where the UI elements are missing in the layout screen.
using the Show/Hide layout Preview Button I get an Program cannot display the web page.
The server is on a different box . Tried running the sapgui from a vista machine and a xp machine and they both have the same problem.
If I run Sapgui on the server box the Show/Hide layout Preview Button does show a subset on the ui elements but not all the examples described in the "ABAP Trial Version for Newbies: Part 18 - Starting with Web Dynpro for ABAP"

In the Calendar, what happened to the day's list of events?

In the calendar in iOS7, tap on the day and I don't get a list, but a timeline that was already available by turning my iPhone to landscape view.
When I tap the day, I want a list of what's scheduled for the day, not a redundant timeline function. This is especially true if the chosen day isn't "today."
If trying to schedule something, I can see where it might be advantageous to 'see' an opening in the day, but when reviewing the events for the day, it's not helpful at all; in fact it's aggravating.
I could touch the magnifying glass and fill the screen with every entry for the forseeable future (or past). That's great if you're searching for an entry, but not if you only want to review one day's schedule.
How can I get my list for one day back? Am I missing a setting/choice somewhere?
Hey development guys! If it's not there already, can we make it a user-defined display option? Or a hybrid of a scrollable two-hour window with the red line showing the time, followed by a list of the day? Something, but I want my daily list back somehow...

Stolen iPad was wiped and erased/synched my exchange calendar. I have recovered some of the calendar entries through the outlook web app, but only entries made in the last 15 or so days. Any ideas on how to recover the rest?

My ipad was stolen over the weekend and i immediately contacted apple to do a data-wipe.
On wednesday, the ipad was apparently wiped and then decided to sync with all of my other systems. It's been two days and I just figured out how to access and recover deleted items from the Outlook Web App from my exchange host.
They were scattered throughout and sorted by the date they were added to the calendar so some things are still missing. Anyone know how to restore what i'm still missing?
