Missing Device Sync Screens for My iTouch 2G

Hardware: MacBook Pro; iTouch 2G
Software: OS X 10.6.3; iTunes 9.2, iOS 4
Problem: When I plug my iTouch into the MacBook, it shows as a device in the sidebar, but I can't see any of the info or synch screens for the iTouch. The window shows whatever screen I had before clicking on the device.
I prefer to manually synch, but without the screens, I can't change my settings. I can drag and drop music and podcasts into the "folders" on my device, but can't otherwise change my sync settings. The only way I can sync is via menu command.
This is very annoying, but not fatal. Any solutions?

I wish I knew how to insert a screen shot ... let me try a verbal description.
In the left sidebar, I see my iPod Touch. Opening the flippy triangle next to the iTouch, I see two items: Music and Podcasts.
When I click on Podcasts, I see my podcasts on my iTouch, in the big section of the window. When I click Music, I see the listing of my music on the iTouch. So far, everything is normal.
In iTunes 9.1 and before, when I clicked on iPod Touch in the sidebar, I would see a set of different info in the big window section -- About this iPod, Music, etc. These tabs (windows? screens?) are where you can make settings for syncing, arrange your apps, check for the newest iOS, etc.
Since installing iTunes 9.2, I see none of the above. When I click on my device on the sidebar, nothing changes in the big window section. The Sync button on the first screen isn't there (nor is the rest of that screen), so the only way I can sync is through the File>Sync menu command.
Does this explain the problem?

in his system, check
IMG>PM>PA>Customising procedures>Actions>Change Action Menu and check in User Group Dependency on Menus and Info Groups and in Action menu. check for inconsistancies/id it is usergroup dependent or not.
Sometimes if Transports are not done in logical order these things happen.

Excise invoice tab missed in migo screen for import material

What we had done,
1 we raise import po.
2 we posted MIRO for custom invoice purpose,
Next when we are doing Migo entry Excise invoice tab is not display.
What is solution for this issue ?
What we have checked.
1. J1id all combinations, means Chapterid with material, cenvat determination, vendor excise details, Excise indicator for plant,
Excise tax rates.
2.At the time of po they ticked invoice base.
3 We checked movement type 101 for excise duties.
4.we checked excise group also in this Excise invoice captured is ticked.
5.. i also checked table for movement type.
Note: Against this material master no entry is there so this is first time material.
Relating to this vendor previously we have entries relating to other material masters.
What is solution for this issue ?
Why it is not displayed in MIGO Screen ?

Check the following
1. Chapter id maintained in material master or j1id.
2. Cenvat determination maintained
3. Tax indicator for plant and vendor.
4. Import conditions rightly classifed under defaults.
5. Movement type rightly classified
6. In case you have created a new plant check for following in the client you are doing the transaction
IMG>>Logistic-General>>Tax On Goods Movements>>India>>Basic Setting>>Maintain Plant Settings
7. Check if you have not done any enhancements, some times this may happen if any enhancement done.
If all this is checked and in order it should work.

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

I did drop it from about 4 and a half foot during the reset so I don't know if that has broken it.

See if placing the iPod in Recovery mode will allo iTunes to see the iPod so you can restore it.
Next try DFU mode.

If I choose sync settings for my add-ons, between my Windows XP laptop and android phone, will one device' s add-ons go on the other automatically?
For example, if i add a password manager add-on to my PC, will that same add-on go onto my phone? Or will i have to separately add it again to my phone?
If I do have to add it separately, then what exactly IS the add-on syncing doing?

Syncing apps for itouch 2007 edition

I bought an app for my itouch (2007) and I don't even know how to view it in itunes. I know the transaction occurred because I checked my banking info. but if it weren't for that proof I would never know I even purchased the thing let alone be able to use it. HELP. How do i get it to my itouch?

Is your iTunes updated as well?

Something's probably wrong with the program; Close it and reboot, or you may need to reinstall iTunes.

NO tab for apps on sync screen

I have downloaded some apps to my library. They are all in my library, but i have no apps tab on my sync screen so I can not get them out of my computer to my ipod. How can I get the apps tab on my sync screen?

- Is the iPod signed into the same itunes account that purchased the apps? To change on the iPod go to Settings>Store and sign out of existing iTunes account and sign into the correct one.
- Have you had apps o the iPod before? I\The iPod has to iOS 2.x or later.

No media listed in device sync?

I recently moved all my music to a single folder. I then created a new library. All of the media (music, ringtones, video) are present and playable in iTunes. However, when I go to sync my phone, no media is present in the device sync fields. What am I missing?

That is right, the media is not missing. All of my music, ringtones, books, apps are visible. I can switch between media by clicking on the media types listed under library on the sidebar. I can listen to music, make playlist, make genius playlist, and all the other fun stuff iTunes was designed to do, except sync with my phone.
When trying to sync the phone, I connect the phone to the computer using a USB cable. After a few seconds a new catagory appears in the sidebar labled "Devices." The name of my phone appears under the Devices heading along with a battery power symbol and an eject button. I then click on my phone and the iTunes screen changes to a sync screen with ten tabs across the top (Summary, Info, Apps, Tones, Music, TV Shows, etc). There is also a memory usage bar across the bottom and a sync button.
The Summary screen contains information about my phone and the memory usage bar seems to be correct. The Apps, iTunes U, Photos, and books tabs are active and will show me the media that are available to sync.
My problem is the the Tones tab and the Music tab are empty of any media. All options are grayed out except for a check box in the top left corner labled Sync Tones or Sync Music, respectively. When I click this check box I get a message warning me that the tones/music on my phone will be erased and replaced by the selected media. There is no media to be selected.
How do I get my tones and music to show up on the Sync tabs?
