Missing Directory Application

I cannot find the "directory Applications".
I upgrade an office iMac from 10.4.2 t 10.6.3 - seemed to go well.
I saw "Directory Application" video at http://www.apple.com/business/theater/
Tried to find this applications - could not.
The video claims it is in the "Utilities" folder, but not on this iMac.
I am able to log-in using our Active Directory server now.
I want to be able to look at it using this applications.
Is it hidden someplace, or did the upgrade miss it.
Can I download & install it manual?

In looking deeper into the PC setup, I found a proxy server address. This worked for Exchange on Mac. I now have Exchange working, and yes I can see the Exchange address book. This is not what I need - I need is access to Active Directory.
I tried to connect to Active Directory using Address Book, but all I ever got was a clock symbol. Well after many hours of trying different configs, I gave up and walked away. When I came back, my search had worked. The problem, it turns out, was that it is so slow (about 3 minutes per search) that I assumed it was not working and tried something else. On the PC these searches return almost instantaneous.
So, now I have two questions...
1) Any trick to fix the Address Book Active Directory search speed issue?
2) We allow our PC users to change some of their own AD information (phone#).
Seem like Address Book cannot edit Active Directory entries.
Any way for the Mac OS X to edit/update Active Directory entries?

What version of Bridge and Photoshop and what platform? Mac or Windows? I can point you to a downloadable installer.
If the cdrom was damaged, it may be the problem.
You would uninstall and use the CC/CS Cleaner to remove any remnants before reinstalling.

You probably need to either uninstall and reinstall itunes or to download the apple application support by itself
you can download the itunes http://www.apple.com/itunes/ here
then to do a complete uninstall / reinstall follow these instructions http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1923
you could also use 7zip to extract the individual installer for apple application support from the itunes setup file http://www.7-zip.org

Missing "View|Application Navigator" and "View|Connection Navigator"

My default Oracle JDeveloper 10g Early Access 10.1.3.34.12 is missing "View|Application Navigator" and "View|Connection Navigator" from the View toolbar. Am I simply missing an additional installation or do I not have something configured correctly?

Mac Mini not booting - Missing Directory file

I cannot even get my Mac Mini (OS 10.8.3) to boot up - not even in safe mode.
I managed to video the verbose boot up screen as far as it went and the error is a Missing Directory Record, Macintosh HD needs to be repaired, Macintosh HD can't be repaired...
The only thing I can think of doig is taking it to a local Mac dealer and probably having to buy a new HD?
Anyone got any other ideas?

Yes All backup to TM and a extra backup to a USB drive. I've disconnected everything and only reconnected power, monitor and keyboard and now when powering up I still get to the grey screen, Apple logo and progress bar but again crash after a couple of mintues.
I cannot seem to get the verbose safe mode working again either.
I'm not sure how connected this is but it did occur last night after looking at picture on an SD camera card from a friends camera.

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?

That will reinstall the App Store for you. It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.6.8.
Restart your Mac after the combo is installed.

Missing apple application support

I cannot get iTunes 9.0 to run on my pc, windows xp pro. I downloaded iTunes 7.0 and it worked on the computer but not with third generation shuffle. I keep getting the error 1, Missing apple application support. I have tried uninstalling, repairing, turned off firewalls while downloading etc. Does anybody have any ideas? Thank you

Try uninstalling iTunes and the related Apple software, as shown here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1925.
Then download and reinstall the latest version of iTunes from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.
If you run into any issues, just post a reply here with the alert messages that appear in iTunes.

Well, by default SQL*Loader new line as end of record. Since your logical record in question consists of multiple lines each line is treated as a seaparate record. As a result, SQL*Loader finds a record with starting double quote without matching ending double quote. You must to use stream record format option in SQL*Loader by using

What does here "WARNING: missing directory entry for </tmp>" mean? Though this is not critical, I want to know if it's possible to get rid of it.

GarageBand, iMovie and iPhoto aren't included with OS X, so it's normal that you haven't got them after reinstalling Mac OS X.
If your iMac didn't come with DVDs, open the App Store, go to Purchases and download iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand free of charge.
If your iMac came with DVDs or you didn't purchase the iLife apps at the Mac App Store, insert the second Mac OS X disc or Applications disc and install the iLife apps. Then, open  > Software Update, and install the most recent version.
Respecting to third-party applications, you have to reinstall them manually

Which Photoshop version are you using? If it's CS3 - CS6 then you can download it from Adobe and install it properly. No need to rebuy it, just put in your serial number:

If you can, I would put all the files back where you moved them from, and uninstall the program properly. Otherwise you'll have file remnants laying around. Also, you're unclear if you just moved it to another location on the same computer, or a new computer. If it's a new computer then you need to deactivate the old computer as you only have two seats to use:

Missing People application on A2107A-F

Hello
I've just purchased the A2107A-F and the People app is missing. I've performed numerous Factory Resets and tried numerous applications from the Google store, none of which let me edit my contacts. Is anyone else experiencing this issue, or is this tablet defective in some way, which doesn't seem possible because everything else functions correctly. Contact management is critical for me - without it, this tablet is fairly useless.

How to edit contacts
1. Install go launcher on the tablet
2. Go to settings/security/...check unknown sources
3. Download and install "contacts+" from an android phone
4. Download and install "app backup & restore" on phone
5. Start app backup & restore ... back up "contacts+" on phone
6. Download astro file manager on phone
7. Start astro manager and go to the directory sdcard/download or where it is located on the phone
8. Click on the file "contact+" and then "share" and email yourself the file
9. Download the file on your email on your tablet
10. Install on tablet
11. Repeat on your phone for the app "go contact ex"
12. Download "aqua email" app
You should now be able to add and edit contacts with the app "go contacts ex". The aqua email app will all allow to access contacts by clicking on a little icon of a person with "+" this is conjuction with the app "contact +".
