Missing document numbers in marketing documents

Hi All,
Why document numbers are missed in marketing documents? For Example I post from 1 to 10 numbers in GRPO.Missed numbers like from 4 to 7 numbers.
Regards,
S.S

Hi,
The same situation i have seen when multiple users are adding the same type of document.
For example if 5 users are punching the data in sale order at the same time, Possibilities are there to get numbers to skip and miss.
Also need to check, if it happens when two users using same user id and password to raise same type of document.

  • Where can i get reversal documents numbers for any documents

    Hi,
pls tell me where can i see all reversal documents numbers eg: invoice document number..
like that , may i know any tables and t-codes .
    thanks..

this sounds like an interview question...
FI documents are stored in table BKPF, if a document is reversed, the reverse document number will be stored in BKPF-STBLG
SD invoice => table VBRK => field to check: SFAKN
MM invoice => table RBKP => field to check: STBLG
    etc.
as you can see for each type of document you'll find the information is separate tables

  • How to Choose Document Number of Marketing Documents with Crystal Reports

    Dear Experts,
I am trying to prepare a simple marketing document, such as a sales order, with Crystal Reports Basic 2008.
    [Goal]
Being able to choose the document number of a particular sales order when I open Crystal Reports from SBO.
    [Problem]
The document in Crystal Reports shows nothing, although I can choose a document number when Crystal Reports opens.
    [Parameters I set up]
    Parameter Fields Screen
    List of Values: Dynamic
    Value: DocNum
    Parameters: My Parameters
    Select Expert Screen
    {ORDR.DocNum} = {?Document Number}
    [Crystal Reports Design]
    Report Header
    SALES ORDER
    Page Header
    ORDER#: (ORDR, DocNum)
BILL TO: (ORDR, CardName) (ORDR, Address)
    Details
    ITEM#: (RDR1, ItemCode)
    ITEM NAME: (RDR1, Dscription)
    QTY: (RDR1, Quantity)
    PRICE: (RDR1, Price)
    Total: (RDR1, LineTotal)
    Page Footer
    TOTAL DUE: (ORDR, DocTotal)
    Thank you for your help,
    --Toshi

    Hi Toshiomi,
    The parameter fields should be
    List of Values: Static
    Value: {ORDR.DocNum}
    Parameters: DocNo
    Type: Number
and in the Select Expert screen
    {ORDR.DocNum} = {?DocNo}
I hope this will solve your problem in the most efficient way.
    Thanks,

  • Document numbering issue - Incorrect documents opening from Reports

We follow repetitive document numbering with different series name.
During a customised report generation, the details displayed in the report are correct, but when I click on the document number from the report, it opens a different document with the same doc number but a different series name.
I understand that this is due to the repeatitive numbering used, but is there any method by which the system opens exact document as displayed in the report.
    Version - SBO 2005 B , PL 42
    thanks in advance,
    Avinash.

You may try to add DocEntry to see:
    SELECT T1.SeriesName, T0.DocNum, T0.DocEntry,T0.DocDate, T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T0.DocTotal,T0.Project, T0.DocStatus FROM dbo.ORDR T0 INNER JOIN dbo.NNM1 T1 ON T0.Series = T1.Series WHERE T0.DocStatus ='O' ORDER BY T0.DocDate
When you click on DocEntry (Internal Key), it should work.
    Thanks,
    Gordon

  • Reconnect base and target document if duplicate marketing document

How can you reconnect the links between the base and target documents when you duplicate marketing documents?
For example,  an error was made during the entry of the GR PO and we performed the Goods Return.  However, when you create a Goods Receipt PO and then a Goods Return, the original PO is now closed.  How can you re-open the original PO or else link a new target document to it?
    Thank you.

Thats right.  You can create a new business process for Exceptions and exceptions have to handled as a one off situation.
I would suggest you take measures to minimize the error by putting business rules in place and for these one off situations simply type in the PO / SO number in the remarks.
Creating all document is a big efforts.

  • Documents numbers iCloud

On the macbook pro were open multiple documents numbers. All documents from the service icloud. The computer was rebooted. After rebooting and opening one of the numbers of documents missing from the list of icloud. All other files in the list are present. This file was valuable information. What could happen to the file? Where can I find it? Is there a backup at Apple?

Thank you! That was news to me.
I found the document in Time Machine and went back to January 1:st. That was odd. What I found was a document dated back in July of 2013 with a size of 0 byte. I am sure that I had the document open last week and the real size of it is around 9 megabyte. I even went back to the beginning of december and found the same 0 byte file from July.
To me this suggest that Time Machine somehow retroactively changed the file in backups.
    Best regards, Niklas

  • Adding a Document to a Sales Document

Is it possible? or how do you add or attach an unrelated document to a sales document.
For example for each quote you print or E-mail have behind the quote a page outlining sale offers etc.
    Thanks.
    Jim

To connect a document to the marketing documents, you should create a Link type UDF:
1.Tools / Customization tools / User defined field management
    2. In the window select the Marketing documents / Title line, click Add and
    3. Select General Type with Link structure.
After this double clicking in the UDF you can browse the document you want to connect.

    Hi Mahalingam,
There could be various reasons for document number skipping. SAP has given various notes on this.
Note 175047 - Causes for FI document number gaps (RF_BELEG). The note is very comprehensive and has a reference of lot many notes.
    Thanks

  • Document numbers missing while posting a batch of GL documents via BDC FB01

    Hi all,
While posting a batch of GL documents using a BDC program for FB01, all the documents are posted except for a few document numbers getting skipped while posting. For instance, in posting 100 documents, if 101-200 is the document numbers expected to be generated, we are getting a list of doc. numbers from 101-185 and 187-201 thereby skipping the document number 186. But when we post another set of GL documents, the skipped doc. number 186 is first taken and remaining from doc. number 202. Could any one have comes across this scenario or somebody can help to throw some light for the reason behind this. Thanks.

While creating Purchase Requistions, I found that the PR document numbers are not sequential. May I know the reason for that?

    Hi,
Check SAP Note 179224 - Doc.no.assignment for unbuffered number ranges to understand the reason of this behavior (for other ranges).

  • How to re-initialize numbering in any marketing document

    Dear All
In A/R Invoice, a numbering series with name 'Primary' is currently in use. Starting number of this series is '1' and so far, document numbers has reached till '3450'.
I want to create anothing numbering series while locking the current one and wants to re-initialize the numbering from '1' in A/R Invoice.
How is it possible? Kindly guide.
    Thanks and Regards

    HI!
This can be handled using Posting Periods and Period Indicator.
For doing this current Period should not have any Transaction .

  • Missing document numbers

Back in August, our Accounts Payable department using transaction FB60 posted a vendor invoice.  A document number was provided and it was handwritten on the invoice as proof.
however, there is no record of that doc number in SAP.  It's not searchable in FB03, nor could I find it in any table (BSEG, BKPF, BSIK, etc).
Where did this doc # go and how can I find it?
    Thanks
    Josh

    Hi,
If the document is not present in BKPF, BSEG, BSI, BSA , then it is very likely that the document has not become a part of the October documents.Even if the document were to be parked, you would find an entry in BKPF.
An update termination is a likely explanation.
Also, as you have pointed out that RFBNUM00N(which is used to document number range gaps) shows the document number, this means that there is a gap in the number range for that particular document number.
Can you check how soon are update terminations removed from the system?  Maybe the terminated updates are not available any longer. This can be found by going to the transaction rz11 and enter Parameter : rdisp/vbdelete.
Also, please try using RFVBER00(in place of SM13) and check if you can spot the document there.
If you do not see the document in any of these places, then it is highly likely that the document did not get created.
