#Missing Drop Down Label

I'm trying to set up a data form so that the drop down includes the ability to select #missing.
Initially I thought perhaps you could set a Smart List dimension member's value to #missing. But apparently that would be too convenient.
So I followed the advice in this doc for allowing #missing to be entered: Performance Management Architect Administrator's Guide
I opened up the Smart List Dimension properties for Planning and entered in 'Inactive' as the #Missing Drop Down Label. I saved the information, and when I went back to my form, the only options for the drop down are still the dimension members (Yes and No). Ideally, I would like No to be the #Missing Drop Down Label.
So am I missing a step to get the #Missing label to show up first in the drop down, as it says it should in the admin guide?
Other notes: This is a shared dimension.

What is the setting for Missing Form label? Is it Drop Down Setting? Try that and see

Did the top navigation show dropdown when you applied the "seattle" master page as default to your site collection?
You can post your custom master page code for reproduce if it's possible.
Please check and make sure have ticked the "Show subsites" option from Navigation settings page in all subsites.

Looking for some help on emailing results using the drop down Label instead of the value

I have a very simple form... 4 fields
1 - Textbox to enter name
2 - Drop downs to select location and type of issue
1 - Comment box to describe in more detail the issue....
I have notification setup to email the results to the
appropriate person
upon submission.. the issue im having is the following.. the
email will go
to the department that needs to get it based on the Issue
drop down... the
drop down is populate from a table containing 2 fields (
Issue Name and
Email )
My question is how can i capture the label name instead of
the value which
in this case is the email address?
I want the email to be sent to the email address, but i want
the email to
display the label name....

Missing Drop Down Fields

After saving my form as a PDF, the drop down fields are missing upon opening the form from an email attachment. The form drop downs continue to be present in Forms Central.

Compressor plug-in missing drop down for side chaining

I want to use side chain compression but the Logic Pro X 10.1 compressor seems to be missing the drop down menu to specify what track I want to side chain to. I looked at screen shots of the compressor online and mine looks exactly the same except for missing that and a couple other elements in the header bar of the compressor.
Any thoughts about how to fix this? Should I just delete and reinstall Logic?

Make sure you have the correct Advanced Tools enabled.
Sidenote: lots of people seem to think that reinstalling Logic will solve issues, but it will not, except maybe in very rare and unusual cases (when a harddisk crashed or hung during install, for instance)

Missing drop down menu in search bar

My search bar is missing the drop down menu. Yahoo has mysteriously appeared as the default engine in my search bar window. When I click the search icon, no drop down menu appears but rather my home page defualts to Yahoo.
This just started today.

I think Yahoo replaced your search bar. There would be a solution in

"By default, join" drop-down doesn't have "Preferred Networks" option

I use my laptop on two different networks. I would like it to automatically join whichever one is available. The Mac Help has instructions titled "Choosing preferred AirPort networks" with three steps. Step 1 works fine; I can open network preferences and get to the drop-down labelled "By default, join". It says I should then select the option "Preferred networks" from the drop-down. The problem I have is, there is no such option. The drop-down has only one option, labelled "A specific network".
It works identically on a regular user account and an adminstrator account. I have authenticated.
Tiger 10.4.8, fully updated.

Can't find the TIL again... might have it bookmarked at work though, but that's the problem... Sorry can't remember the fix right now at all.

Unable to view drop down menu

Apple support was just able to break the code on my inability to view the drop down menu bar using my mac mini. Here is the fix:
1. This will happen when using TVs instead of a computer monitor.
2. Go to the Systems Preference App, and open it.
3. Open the Display Icon under hardware.
4. Slide the underscan bar (in the direction of "more") to the right
5. Guess what appears at the top? The missing drop down menu.
Quick fix to a real frustrating problem. Thanks to Clint at Apple Support to know how to fix this in very little time.

Hello,
1. Save the Data Model and exit from data model editor to Catalog.
2. Edit again the Data Model and now you should be able to view the parameters.
Because the Parameters were just created, are not loaded instantly so you need to save and edit again your data model.

With multiple tabs open, I use to click File, close tab---now close tab is missing and I exit out of Firefox completely. How do I get that choice back "close tab" in the "File" drop down? Thanks. George C.

The drop down "FILE" in the tool bar use to have a choice to "CLOSE TAB". This is now missing so when I have multiple tabs open and I want to close the most recent, I cannot. I then get warned that I will be closing multiple numbers of tabs, but there is no other choice.

Gmail drop-down menus (Move to, Labels) and emails and Facebook chat will not open.

I am unable to open emails in standard Gmail. Emails can be opened after switching to the basic html version. I am also unable to use the drop-down menus, such as "Move to" or "Labels." The button turns gray, but the options do not appear.
Facebook chat is giving me a similar problem. When I click "Chat" in the bottom left, it acts as though it's trying to load but does not open up to reveal friends.
I have tried the following: deleting cookies, reinstalling Java, updating my vid card drivers, and uninstalling/reinstalling Firefox
Scans for viruses and spyware have yielded no results. I use AVG, Spybot, and Malwarebytes. The Gmail emails and menus will open in IE8.

I can only go back one page at a time because the drop-down jump back multiple pages feature is missing; how do I get this feature back?

On Firefox 3.6 the back and forward buttons also had a drop-down menu to enable me to jump back to one of the last, say, 10 pages I had viewed rather than only go back one at a time. Also, the reload button appears to be missing and I can't figure out how to bring these back. Otherwise, an awesome upgrade; thanks for all your hard work on this fantastic product.

You can right-click either Back or Forward button to open the tab history list.

Missing lables in the Top drop downs of the Adobe reader 9.5.1 after a deb install.

I just installed the Adobe 9.5.1 reader to get the added functions that are offered with PDF reading with the Adobe reader instead of the standard reader that is very slim in the additional functions department. The reader is working great but the advanced functions are only available if I have a Windows box close and I can see the functions under the drop downs. I was able to change from portrait to Landscape view just fine, as I knew the apporx location of the function on the drop down. Note the primary topic like :File:Edit:View... are visable only the lable content is missing.

combine supported files in acrobat missing in adobe x pro when I right click drop down menu also Convert to Adobe PDF is missing too. The open with & share with options are gone too when I right click files. My computer crashed & I had to have the motherboard replaced. The tech store put some of my programs back on my compter but not sure how or if they did stuff correctly. Need help fixing my problem becasue I use this all the time. Thanks

I'm having the same issue. I got a new PC, insalled Acrobat X pro and when I right click on an Office file, I could not combine or convert Office files to PDF. I upgraded to Acrobat XI and still no fix. I triled to convert or combine office files to PDF from within Acrobat and I get an error message saying "Acrobat does not support the conversion of one or more of your files to PDF. Please remove these files or go to Settings and choose the PDF Portfolio option".
I've tried to convert or combine Office 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013 files and none work. The weird thing is that the option shows up for Excel .csv files. Even more werid is that I have the PDF tabs showing in the Office applications.
I contacted Adobe support via chat and they were unable to help. I was directed here, so any help would be great.
