Missing DW CS4 on Windows7

In downloading DW CS4 on my new computer Windows7, there are no spaces for infilling information in the Property Inspector at the right side for Title and Target. Is there any way to fix this?

My display size is 110%
To change your screen resolution

My font sizes I set myself to 11 so I can read my screens.
In my experience, custom font sizes are painful. That's why I keep mine at default size - 100% (normal).
When viewing websites, however, only the headings are clearly legible, the text is very pale grey...
This sounds like a ClearType issue. Make text easier to read using ClearType - Windows Help
I set my browser font-sizes separately in my browser preferences.

Thanks for the response. Photomerge.jsx, and stack scripts only are in the scripts folder. However, I had to put them in there from cs3. Now I can get the photomerge window to open (still the cs3 version) but after I select the photos and hit ok nothing happens. I have been comparing the presets in cs3 to see what I am missing in cs4, but I cant find the missing files.

CS4 on Windows7 stopped working, won't start

I have regularly been using CS4 on Windows7 64 bit but today, it won't open. Windows comes up and says "stopped working" and can't find a solution. Any suggestions?

Do you get any messages on the screen apart from "stopped working". you normally get an error number. Without this, the only solution I can think of is to re-install the package from the disk. You will need your CDs/DVDs and serial number to get this working again.
First try to repair the package by going to the control panel. The screen looks something like this:
You get options to uninstall, Change or Repair and you want Repair.
The above picture is from my Windows 8 machine but your Windows 7 should almost be identical. But you get the ideas.

Help needed: Image Processor.jsx missing in CS4

The Image Processor.jsx is missing from my Photoshop CS4 scripts folder and when I search I don't find it anywhere. (I get "Image Processor.jsx cannot be found" error when I try to do Image Processing in Bridge CS4.) I guess it never loaded. Can someone send it to me so I can load it. Also please tell me exactly where I should put it.

Loaded cs4 on windows7, won't open

Hello. I loaded photoshop cs4 on my Dell with windows7, and it reads "Adobe Photoshop CS4 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Thats as far as I got. Is there any ideas? Does the version of windows support cs4?

yes, but you may need to install using compatibility mode. did you see any errors when installing?
if not, hold down alt-ctrl-shift while launching ps cs4 (to reset your preferences). a confirmation dialog box should appear. confirm that you want to reset preferences.
if that fails, either shutdown running processes to see if you can find the conflicting program or
uninstall cs4
run the cleaner, http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart you computer
reinstall.

Importing 5D Mark II files to CS4 and Windows7

I tried to import 5D MII native files directly to Adobe Premiere CS4.2.1, Media Encoder CS4 or After Effects CS4 in two different computers and this is what happened;
First compuer Premiere Pro CS4 version 4.2.1 with Windows 7 operating system;
Result; Error message - file is not supported
Second compuer Premiere Pro CS4 version 4.0 with Windows XP Pro operating system;
Result; No error message - filewas imported but playing back very slowly.
So is this a Adobe CS4 problem or Windows 7?

I did a little research for you on the internet, and got some pretty cool information....
The advice and suggestions in your other thread were all good too...and I don't know what you've tried of what they suggested....but here is some other stuff I found on the internet about your camera and the MOV files, and using Premiere.
I would guess your problem is not a windows 7 issue...but something about how you are going about solving the problem in a systematic way...
I wish you luck..the camera seems to be really nice... would be nice to get the stuff into the computer to work with it...

more advice:
Brad, You should just start Premiere Pro and then create a custom preset for the camera specs that Thane has shown you...
Width: 1920
Height: 1080
Frame Rate: 30
Field Type: Progressive
Aspect: Square Pixels (1.0)
Then save the preset... mine is called 5DMKII ...
Then everytime you open Premiere you can just choose the correct preset for your 5D footage...
if you don't know how to create the custom preset then you might want to look it up in the help files....
In the more expensive Cineform products they supply many many different presets...
but with neo scene you'll need to create your own...
the only time I use AME is during the output phase of the workflow....

CS4 SDK install- win32version.rc missing in CS4 AE SDK zip file

Copied down the CS4 AE SDK to Windows, and everything looks fine except CCU project is missing a "win32version.rc" file. Linker errors are telling me its missing About(), DoClickRect(), and DoClick() functions.
Figured maybe I'd install CS3 and get the file, but file is not in CS3.
Does CS4 AE SDK have an install instead of just a zip file?
Did I miss a download?

Thank you for the reply, I'm surprised I didn't notice these functions myself.
The win32version.rc missing (or win32version.r or anything with win32version.* is missing) error threw me...
Maybe it's because I ported the project directly into VS 2008 instead of VS 2005.
Just not sure why there's a problem. It's not like the global static About() is external or something - LNK2019: unresolved external symbol. I thought maybe it's because the About() function was mangled and the call wasn't finding it. Intellisense sees it, the compiler compiles okay, it's just the linker.
Maybe there's a setting somewhere I have to look for?
When I compile using VS 2010 it does compile without error. Maybe it's something wrong with my VS 2008?

You could ask in the SDK forum... Have you looked through the SDK examples? The file might be there somewhere.

Links in artwork missing in cs4 but visible in cs2.

When opening in CS4 get a message links missing but not when opening with cs2. Anyone else ever encounter this?

When i open artwork in cs4 i get warning links are missing and they are missing in links panel...when i open in cs2 it opens normally with links showing in links panel. Artwork was supplied to me and created in cs4.

Adobe style explorer (Missing from CS4)

I have just updated Illustrator from CS2 to CS4. The one thing I have noticed that is slowing me down is that the Adobe style file browser is missing!?
On CS2 I was able to click on Save as and the next window that comes up you could choose either a Operating system style or Adobe style. On the Adobe style I could save shortcuts to folders from which I could quickly save files to.
Any chance that I can get this back!?

Library Files missing in CS4

I have installed Encore CS4 and notice that I have no resources from which to build menus and background--or the library files that are required for any version.
Encore CS4 defaults to a directory it chose when it was installed but the directory path does not exist and I can find no place where Encore CS4 would have placed these resources.
Apparently, there was a change in the location of the library file from what was used in CS3.
Please assist.

I would suggest you uninstall everything since you have the the Master Collection and do the uninstaller from the Adobe Uninstall utility. Then to make certain you have it properly uninstalled run the clean up utility or script which you can get from the adobe site.
If the utility shows you no apps to uninstall you properly removed the apps more then likely now I would try to go through the trouble of locating the preferences for the Adobe applications and delete them with the bin. Then reinstall everything from the Master Collection.
When uninstallling use the uninstallers that should be present for Encore and Premiere first then use the one for the Master Collection. I think it would be wise to do it this way.

VersionCue.dll missing in CS4

Hello,
I'm a brand new Adobe user who just purchased CS4 Production Premium.
I wanted to batch process a bunch of jpegs using a custom action I created in Photoshop. I created an action to change the brightness/contrast to 20/100 respectively. I then used Bridge to select a series of Jpegs and then ran Tools->Photoshop->Batch and chose my custom action. I chose all defaults and hit okay and I get this dialog box:
Error: The specified module could not be found. C:\Program files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS4\Client\4.0.0\VersionCue.DLL
What is this thing and where do I get it?

I am having the same problem and it has brought my Windows XP machine to its knees. No matter what I do it freezes and frustrates.
I don't know who the guy is who keeps suggesting calling Technical Support but it is a waste of time. As I write this I have been ON HOLD for three hours and 35 minutes. And this is after being online with Technical Support for an hour and twenty-four minutes (1:24:00). I followed their instructions and I am worse off now than before!
And if anyone from Adobe is reading this (HA!) my case number is #180954123. To say I am unhappy with Adobe is an understatement. The fact that they sell their products at outrageous sums of money and then cannot even provide INSTALLATION support is abominable. My particular problem was caused by their automatic updater service because I had the program installed and running fine for months and now it is half un-installed and tries to install itself during the uninstall. Yes, you heard me right. During the uninstall I was getting install errors!
Yes indeed, call Technical Support and good luck with that. I thought Microsoft was arrogant and uncaring about its customers, but Adobe is now running neck and neck with them for poor customer support. All I know is that sooner or later Adobe will reap what is sows.
And now I think I have to format my PC and spend two days trying to reconstruct all my applications. Maybe I will install and learn how to use GIMP (free!) instead of Photoshop. And oh yes, I may have to re-consider my evangelism to the world and especially to my university about using Cold Fusion on its servers.

Place in Indesign Missing from CS4 after CS5 install

I have noticed that on two of our macs after installing CS5 that the Place in Indesign command in CS4 bridge is no longer appearing in the list anymore, all other choices are there, Does anyone have a fix for this. - thanks!

Fonts missing in CS4 but are installed in Win font folder.

Hi, newbie member and first forum post.
Problem - I have 270 fonts installed in the C/win/fonts folder but CS4 only displays ~120 fonts.
Is there another approach to getting CS4 to access all fonts?
I have followed up with most related posts on this forum but have not found a solution yet.

Photoshop doesn't always read the file name which is what you see in Explorer.
Do a right click on a font file and look at Properties.

Anchor points a missing photoshop cs4

My anchor points in Photoshop CS4 is gone and I do not see what I draw I can only see the path in my path window.

What tool are you using to draw the path?
Have you updated your video drivers from the manufacturer's web site?
