Missing editing tools? Help!

Hello! I am very new to photo editing especially Lightroom. I went to start editing and it seems like my basic 'exposure, contrast etc' panel is gone from my Develop module. I just have the 'tone curve' and other panels below it. I want to edit the exposure of my overall photo and I don't know how now since it seems that panel is gone! I am getting frustrated, what did I do?! I have been watching tutorials and all of that and all of a sudden my workspace doesn't include the overall editing it did the first day I used the software. How do I get this back?

You have inadvertently hidden the other panels.
Right click the Tone Curve panel header, and place a check mark next to the panel names (i.e. "Basic") to enable those panels, and they will reappear.

When I open Firefox there is absolutely no toolbar at the top. No 'File' 'Edit' 'View' 'Favorites' 'Tools' 'Help' buttons, no anything. Any idea's??

When I open Firefox there is no toolbar at all. I have tried deleting and then re-downloading it, but when I click on the icon on my desktop, all that comes up is a page that says "Widgets, Gadgets, RSS feeds, and more." There is no search box to surf the web, there is nothing.

Toolbar not complete. Missing back/forward arrows, edit, tools icons, etc and view is gone

Need help with imovie photos extension. I am not able to view the editing tools no matter what I do!!!! Help please ASAP

I Have read a lot of tutorials or whatever but Im not able to view the editing tools from imovie in the photos app. I have tried the trimmer thing and the yellow outline does appear but the only options available are "play, trim or cancel". The problem started when I turned on the computer this morning. I tried to install Mozilla 4 from your website and that installed but I still have nothing on the top.

It may be due to Firebug. Seeing as how you're a web developer, it's very possible you have this installed. The latest version, 1.7X a10, appears to cause everything you described. I downgraded to "a8" and that seems to have fixed everything.
I also recreated a profile from scratch before trying this out, so I can't guarantee it's definitely Firebug.

Click on the Edit button to get into Edit mode. Click on it again to come out of edit mode.

I did that (I think I did) however the confusion is that I get only part of the menu and not the most important menu items like "file" "edit" etc. with all the drop downs. It is so freaky - my other computers have no problem like this and I and show the menu bar or not just like you described. I really doubt anyone really understands my problem with it. I took some screen shots of the good computer version and the bad one so someone can "see" exactly what I am seeing. This may be a one of a kind gremlin issue, LOL. Anyway, without those menu items, I am very limited on the usefulness of FireFox on that computer so I have to rely more on Chrome for those features and use the FireFox with Billeo and other tools that still work. Someday it may magically fix itself, LOL.

Be sure you are not in Full Screen Mode. The F11 key will toggle Full Screen Mode on or off. If you have no Firefox toolbars, tab bar, etc., you are probably in Full Screen Mode; your Windows Taskbar (with the "Start" button) will also not be visible.
