Missing effects on intro template pc.

Hey guys, I have this problem with adobe after effects where when I open a template intro it says missing affects, these are your missing affects, and then says looks and then a bunch of others, but its different for each intro I put in, anyway I am on windows 7 PC and have after affects cc trial, anyway thanks for reading

WHat effects? Most likely you are simply referring to commercial third-party plug-ins which you would have to buy.

Thanks for the direction on this, I had typed in Optical flares and it comes up in the menu (Box R.H.side) now I see it says it is missing too. I guess there is a spot for it when I buy it..
That seems strange to have an effect already named in my effects menu that I do not have installed. Do you know who makes that by any chance? Upon buying it will it auto load in the
purchased template as well?

Considering the requirement for new Pricing Procedure, the configuration will be done in spro as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Pricing Procedure --> Maintain Pricing Procedure.
b. Pricing Procedure: After maintaining the pricing procedure the next step will be determination of pricing procedure. Configuration for determining pricing procedure in SPRO is as follows: IMG --> Sales & Distribution --> Basic Function --> Pricing Control --> Pricing Procedure --> Determine Pricing Procedure.
5. Condition record: Condition record is a master data, which is required to be maintained by Core team / person responsible from the client. During new implementation, the condition records can be uploaded using tools like SCAT, LSMW, etc.

Missing effects in cs5. Error message when I add presets.

So I'm new to AE, and need some help. When I add the "rotate over time" animation preset to a title, it says "this favorite contains 1 reference to a missing effect. Please install the following effect to restore this reference". Does anyone know how I can get this worked out? Everything is there in my effects and presets, except this error message keeps showing up when I add it. When I look in my presets folder, the transform is clearly there. Any help? Something I'm missing/overlooking?
Specs: 2010 17 in mbp, 2.53 ghz i5, 8 gb ram, 500 gb. AE cs5 10.2

Nothing to worry about. This is a so called "Pseudo Effect". More details here: http://www.batchframe.com/tutorials/12
Basically the documentation of this custom preset should have contained some code thant you need to insert into "PresetEffects.xml" and is just for naming purposes. So as long as you can live with the "missing effect" name you have nothing to worry about.

Missing "Save Site as Template" For Publishing Sites in Project online 2013

First I created Sub site using Project Template under the site collection.
Now I want to this Sub site Save as a Site Template. When I went for Save site as Template in site setting. Under Site Action there is no option for “Save site as Template”

All Tracks Forward/Backward & Missing Effects

Hi,
1. Please tell me that fcpx has the equivalent to fcp7's All Tracks Forward and Backward in the tool palette. If so, where is it?
2. In fcp 10.0.8 it says i have 472 Missing Effects. When putting cursor over the Missing Effects Title a box comes up for about 5 seconds that reveals all the missing effects, but there seems nowhere to get that list as when you click on Missing Effects nothing happens. Is there someplace we can get a list of our Missing Effects in fcpx?

Hi Luis, Yes I understand all of that, but to get the names of those effects which can be seen for 5 seconds when putting the cursor over Missing Effects there must be someplace i can click to see a list of the effects. without the list i can't find the programs that i need to get so that those effects will be on my mac. the editor believes it's unreasonable to ask him for a list of missing effects and won't send them. thanks!

Missing effect problem!

I have downloaded a project from a friend and in this project he uses the plug-in effect Trapcode Particular. I knew this before i downloaded his project so i intalled the effect on my machine too. But now when i open his project i always get the error message "This project contains 5 references to missing effects. Please install the following effects to restore these references. ("Particular")" and i have no idea why??
I've tried to reinstall several times, both after effects and trapcode particular but nothing seems to work, always the same error message. I've installed the effect in my programs folder, in the adobe folder, in the after effects folder, in the after effects/support files/plug-ins/effects folder but still nothing! I've also read somewhere that if you get these type of error messages the effect will work anyway but it doesnt! And in the "effects and presets" panel the effect shows up under the missing tab??
Another wierd thing is that if i go to my timeline and then click on "rain" wich is the layer particular is used on, i can still use and configure all the settings for the effect in the effect control but nothing happends on the screen. And istead of just saying "Particular" in the effect control it says "Missing: Particular" even if i can still tweek the settings!?
I really need help with this,isthis a bug or glitch or what, anyone else ever had this problem or similar, please help!

Yes, this is as designed and ws introduced in AE 7 or CS3 (can't remember exactly...). the rest is unclear, since you didn't say anything about which version of AE nor your operating system. On a guess I would say you run CS5, but do not use the correct 64bit versions of the plug-ins, so naturally, nothing shows up because it cannot support 32bit plug-ins. Other than that it could be anything from permission issues to some system DLL used by the plug-ins missing...

Missing Effect after upgrade to 10.0.4

I upgrade to 10.0.4 - went pretty smoothly. When I opened FCPX it 'update' my Events and Projects. Now I have a clip in the time line that has a orange bar along the time frame. When I try to preview I get a red screen and a warning symbol (yellow triangle and "!"). When selecting the project the Information window states "1 Missing Effect - FastNoiseReuction". I'm assuming this filter is not longer available - how come? How do I remove it from that clip? The clip won't render as is, although I can see the clip contents OK in the timeline.

Any Effects which are deletable will appear in the inspector.
Select the clip and press Cmd+4 to open the inspector.
This grab shows the Audio Tab - with no effects.

I mean, Qt is considered to be cross platform and it would be handy if you provided a sample plugin project since Adobe targets multiple platforms.
(I don't like Qt Creator either, but in order to make a cross-platform plugin I guess I have to go down this path...)

I working on a after effects(CS3 ) project that was started by a another designer and when I open the project I get a "this project contains 1 reference to a missing effect.Please install the following effect to restore this reference. (Inner Bevel")

Not related to AE. AE does not have an Inner Bevel effect. The designer probably was using third-party plug-ins like Boris Continuum Complete or such. Since it's CS3, you may however be able to re-create the look using layer styles. You'd still need a reference image, though, as I consider it very likely that identical values have a different meaning in the layer style than they would have in the plug-in. Therefore a phone call to the person is unescapable, if only to confirm my theory. If he can tell you, what plug-in he used, you should at least be able to obtain the demo version of it and use it as a reference.

Hi, I hope someone can shed some light on this.
When loading projects I sometimes receive this error.
This project contains 2 references to missing effects. Please install the following effects to restore these references (“Form”)
It then loads, but doesn't work as it should. The number of missing effects changes, but the references ("Form") is consistent. No other effects are listed.
Do you know why this might happen?
I purchased the files from VideoHive, but it's happening with 4 our of 5 purchased files. I've tried loading them on both CS5 (- they are CS5 versions of the effect according to the author) - and also tried loading them into CC. This shows the same error.

Get ready to open your wallet again: you need to buy Trapcode Form, available from Red Giant Software. I'm surprised Videohive didn't list required third-party plugins in the product description.

Installing Missing Effects

Hello all,
I'm taking an after effects class at college and decided I'd like to work on my ae projects at home as well. So, I bought a new laptop with windows 64 bit, downloaded a free trial of after effects 5.5, and transferred the projects I created on the campus's computer to my new laptop via external hard drive. The projects opened, but a few things were missing. For one, the effects I used on the project when created on the campus's computer did not register with my trial version of ae 5.5. I got a message stating that I needed to install those missing effects (cc starburst, starglow, and so on). How do I do this?

You buy them. Starglow is a commercial third-party effect that won't magically appear regardless whether or not you run in trial mode or the full version. You can of course download demo versions of these effects but will have to live with watermarks.

Missing effects installed yet not updating

I opened a project that uses effects that were missing from my system and received the red screen alert. I downloaded and installed the effects and they now appear in the effects menu in FCPX, yet FCPX is still telling me the 6 effects are missing. How do you fix this so that the effects update and apply?
They should just apply once they have been installed yet they do not. One of the effects did update when I installed it but there are 6 instances that will not.
The effects are: Alex4d Mask+4, Alex4d Mask+8 and Alex4d Mask+16. See the screengrab below showing the installed effects and also the missing effects alert for those same effects.

When you add or update an effect, title, transition etc in the effects browser, FCP will sometimes not see it until you close and reopen FCP. Even if it sees the additional effect it will not apply it to an instances in the project timeline. You have to reapply it. One would think in your case where the effect was missing it would automatically add it once it appeared in the browser but perhaps not. I would relaunch FCP and see if that fixes it. If not then You will need to reapply the masks.

I can't find a appropriate sound Effect for motion template.

Hi,
Like my title say I can't find a appropriate sound Effect for motion template. I am using the template that goes by SATIN and There I choose SATIN BLUE-MENU.
In that Template we can see a blue Sheet flying by. BUt I am totally lost to get a nice sound for that. So far I could not find any sound for that. I never Worked with sound Effect. I appreciate any tip.
What is better only sound or a music playing with it? What kind sound goes with it?

I think you need to give us a little more information. Which program are you currently using? Soundtrack Pro, Motion, what? What does the Satin template do?
It sounds like what you're looking for is a "whoosh" effect -- like maybe a gust of wind or something like that. In finder search for the word "whoosh" and then select whichever drive has your Apple loops. You'll find a plethora of whooshes.
Of course that may not be what you're looking for. You'll have be be a little more specific with what the picture is that you're trying to add sounds to, and even then, it's still your artistic choice.
