Missing episodes and image in Library view

There are now 10 episodes and it's still showing only 7 episodes in iTunes. We use Blubrry Powerpress and have already set the feed number to show 10 so that shouldn't be the issue. Another odd thing is, when you subscribe, view the feed in the Library and it shows only 9, which is missing episode 8 as well as the image. Any idea what might be causing this? Missing charts and images in DHTML viewer

We are using Crystal 2008 and rendering the report using the browser based DHTML viewer. The report in question contains multiple subreports as well as charts and images. When first viewing the report, none of the charts or images are visible unless we reduce the zoom level to 75% and then they get displayed. If the zoom level is set to standard (100%) the charts and images do not display unless you drill into the subreports.
We tried applying all the service packs up to SP2 to no avail. Is this a bug in the viewer and if so what can be done about it? We have found multiple issues with displaying images and charts in the DHTML viewer.

What if its not a zoom issue but rather a postback issue? The report initially comes up blank, when you change the zoom factor, CR is actuially doing a postback. If you change the zoom factor back to 100, is it still there?
Put a button on the page that does nothing and then click on the button without doing anything in the viewer (This will cause a postback). Does the report come up?
If so, then it is probably a postback issue.

Using images in library view when file is missing

I have some images in the library but the file is missing. Can I somehow use the image displayed in the library view and export to disk for printing or e-mail? I’m using v4 on a Mac. Thanks.
Following on from the above I have downloaded the Extract previws help guide. http://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/extract-previews-lightroom-4.htmlThis runs a script to enable extracts to be made. After a bit of messing about with the process for choosing where to house the extracted files this works perfectly. It has certainly saved me a lot of pain and heartache.

Check whether the machine at school has correctly been updated to A§ 8.0.2. Several not so minor bugs were fixed with the updates. also check your files on Illustrator (Mac) and if necessary, re-save them from there.

Missing default filter presets in Library View [Lightroom 3.6]

Hi there,
It's my first topic on this forum.
Yesterday I have installed Windows 8. At beggining everything was fine with lightroom. I have left computer turned on whole night to let lightroom generate previews to my whole collection.
In the morning I have noticed that filters are missing in Library View:
When I create a new filter from File -> Library Filters -> Filter By I have got filter enabled but in this view from screenshot there is no option "No filter".
What should I click to recover all filters?

Topic solved.
It occured that missing presets are not build in by default in Lightroom 3 and I got them since Lightroom 1.1. Copying catalog "Lightroom Settings" from another computer solved issue:

option set to optimize it after it gets backed up, also the option is set to
check the integrity prior to back up. I'll back it up again since I've made no
changes since recovery from the hang up.
Any suggestions on steps to take the next time this happens to help in
diagnosing the problem as I have lots of metadata work to do?

App rejected because icloud image in library view ??

hi there, just got our app rejected because 'app includes one or more Apple trademark images - or likenesses of Apple trademark images - including iCloud icon image..'
They provide the screenshot below to show what they mean.
But if I'm right the iCloud icon image is not provided by us but by Adobe, and only when the app is not downloaded. But the library view can only be seen when the app is fully download (multi-folio app with 1 folio for iPad and 1 for iPhone).
Can anyone tell me what's wrong about this or where I have to search for an answer ?

Missing comments and notes fields for view columns

Hello,
I am missing the comments and notes fields for view columns in the relational model of DM. For the table columns these fields are present, so it would be nice to make this available for views too. The Designer import should be adapted too to import those fields.

My question is about the import of Designer for those fields. This is still not solved, even not in rel 4.0
In fact even DM 3.3 imports comments, notes and comments in RDBMS from Designer repository. Though comments and notes are not accessible through UI they are there and you can include them in custom report.

Distiller missing text and image links when saving to pdf

Not sure if anyone has experienced this issue before. Basically I create artwork 1up in indesign CS3 and print as a postscript file "print ready settings" then create a pdf through distiller 8.1.2. After this I then imposition the 1up PDF back into indesign (using the pdf as a link and then step and repeat it) then I print the new imposed artwork as postscript file again and distill it as a PDF ready for offset printing.
Most time this process works like a dream, but every now and then distiller doesn't want to process the file correctly and images and sometimes text have dropped off the final imposed PDF file. It doesnt notify me of any problems when distilling. As you can imagine working in the print industry this is VERY SCARY
As i am using a common 1up pdf link the imposition should be correct, (all the pdf linked images should be the same anyway) Is it a memory issue, or a bug in distiller perhaps.
Im running a Mac with OSX 10.4.11 with 2Gig of RAM.
If you would like to see a sample of the issue let me know.

Working in a pre-press environment we obviously prefer to print from pdf files (as opposed to using supplied native art). As a result I am always receiving pdf files from external clients who have saved their artwork from indesign to pdf format, so Im not sure what the real difference is between me imposing a supplied indesign/pdf files in indesign vs me imposing my own indesign/pdf files in indesign. (aprt from perhaps going through distiller twice)
i can see what your saying though and for years i have been using the cut and paste and step and repeat method but recently changed my workflow for a few reasons
- I noticed that by printing a 1up pdf and relinking the file back into my indesign imposition the final imposed pdf was lower in size
- if a client made a change to the artwork after imposing (which always happens) all i had to do was make the change, resave the pdf 1up link again and update the link and it did it for me and saved me from step and repeating all over again,
- whenever the job was printed again in the future i could use the same procedure, resave as 1up pdf again and update the link.
- plus i knew that if i was using the one link all my step and repeats would be exactly the same each time (and i didn't have to worry that a graphic that hadn't been selected/grouped correctly and would drop off when step and repeating)
.....and for sure it probably is a slightly longer way to impose a job for print but it saves me half the time on the next print run, and i can use my imposition file as a template for similar jobs also.
I have found the workflow i use works fine, apart from these rare hiccups which i can get around by resaving the pdf again anyway, but what Im really worried about is the times this error presents itself and doesn't notify me that a problem has occurred.

How to Manually Sort Images in Library View

In lightroom 1 I was able... under some circumstances... to be able to pick and drag images to a new location in the library grid mode.
What do I have to do to sort my images by the time they were taken first...then...be able to manually drag some images into a new location in the grid?
When I rename the images later...it would be great if the sequence number would be the same order as the grid view sequence.

Perfect...I put the 700 images into a collection of their own called first pass...and now I can manually pick up and move images around and drop them in new locations in the grid...Thanks!!

Missing episodes and series

Here we are again with another Vision episode issue....watched Skins from series 1 right through to series 4 got to episode 7 to find that the VERY LAST episode is missing!!!!!!!!! My gos BT how much complaints do you need to take on board to rectify the problems this is so unprofessional you really need to get this together same goes for most oif the series on other on demand options they are soooo far behind live TV and you take so long to air the following up series...

Missing episodes and can't upload them

I purchased 2 seasons of Avatar at the same time and it was my first time buying a season on itunes. Everything loaded very slowly, which is to be expected with almost 40 episodes at once, but then all the episodes tried to upload 6 of each episode. Whenever I tried canceling the load, more of the same episode would come and eventually I just turned my whole computer off.
The next day, both seasons looked like they were uploading smoothly and correctly but it turns out they didn't. Season 2 was fine, but a chunk of episodes is missing from season 3 and the option to upload them ins't there.
I tried reporting the problem to itunes but they just said they couldn't refund. I'm not asking for a refund, I'm asking for the episodes that I payed for. Does anyone know how to get my episodes back without re-buying them?

I would go to Apple.com/support/iTunes and send them an email ( If you get on there early enough you might get the "Chat" option.)
Ive heard this issue on Discussions before. They will probably purge your queue and then place the items back in so that you can download them again.
The "report a problem" link has limited or no success and has for a long time in my experience.

Color differences between Import preview and image in Library

Hi folks,
when I try to import photos from my D200, theys show up in the bnright colors they should during the import dialog. But once they have been imported into the Library, they are all pale - no matter if it's NEF or DNG. I do not apply Auto-Tone during import. I shoot in sRGB.
I have no idea how to fix this, has anyone an idea what could be the cause? Help would be very much appreciated.

With version 6 upgrade takes forever to load. Most sites never load completely-missing graphics and images. Using Google Chrome solves problem.

This problem occurred after upgrade to Firefox 6. Did not have it with version 5.

The default of the pref network.http.max-connections has been increased from 30 to 256 in Firefox 6+ versions.
You can try to decrease the value of the pref <b>network.http.max-connections</b> from 255 to a more modest setting like 30 as used in Firefox 3 versions.

Lightroom 5 is distorting my images in Develop view

When working on images in Develop, Lightroom 5 is distorting them. For example, let's say I'm looking at an image in Library view (fig.1), then switch to Develop view (fig.2) — the image is suddenly compressed horizontally (or stretched vertically, however you choose to describe it).
At other times, images get distorted and rotated (fig.3). And at other times, images were appearing as though a sharpen filter had been applied with accented highlights — but this particular distortion doesn't seem to be happening anymore.
This does not happen to all images in the catalog. I'm running LR 5.2 on a 15" MBP with 16GB ram and a 1.2TB fusion drive.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm late on a deadline beause of this, and other local (NYC) experts, as well as Adobe phone support, are as stumpted as I am.

Did you find an answer? I'm having the same issue with LR 4.4. It didn't happen with 4.3
The only thing I've found to fix it is re-reading the MetaData file for each affected photo and it is taking forever.

If the images are not identified as missing ... then you can't reconnect them
But I'm not really sure what is happening, as I don't understand your description of the problem, could you show us a screen capture? Or describe what appears on your screen in much more detail...

After selecting an image in Library mode (grid view), my selection of image jumps to another image.

Through several versions of Lightroom, I have encountered this problem. I choose an image in Library mode while in Grid view and the image jumps to another that I have not chosen. This happens about 75% of the time. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know of a remedy. I am using a Mac.

You are using the Option key to access the Library under the Go finder Menu?
Click in the Go menu the hold the Option key and you will see Library appear, otherwise is is hidden.
