Missing fonts after reinstall

I reinstall Adobe photoshop elements 11 and lost some of the fonts including ITC Bradley Hand. What do I need to do to get the fonts back?

I am sorry Dottysquare but ITC Bradley Hand is not an Adobe font.  You can find a list of the fonts we produce at http://www.adobe.com/fonts.

  • Missing Fonts after using Migration Assistant

I used the Migration Assistant to Migrate from one Mac to Another and now Indesign has missing fonts. I re-installed Indesign and it's still not working.
I am getting the following error - Missing Fonts The Doument "document.file" are not currently available on your system. The text will use a substitute font until the original font becomes available.
One of the font missing is ITC New Baskerville T1. But it's not only T1 fonts that are missing. I check with Font Book to make sure that this font is in there and it is. I cleared the font cache and checked adobe's documentation but I can't seem to figure this one out.

    Please help !

Most Adobe products seem to install fonts in 'non-standard' places. So it is annoying but not a surprise that Migration Assistant didn't find them. It is odd that reinstalling InDesign didn't fix it. Try restarting while holding down the Shift key, that will boot you into Safe Mode which, among other things, flushes the font caches. Maybe it is just confused!

  • Registration Settings Missing- even after reinstall

iTunes keeps showing the error message of "The registration settings used by the iTunes drivers....are missing....Please reinstall iTunes." I have tried the fix for this issue in this location http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302976 but I have no upper or lower filters listed. This is driving me crazy i can't activate my new iPone. I don't have any additional Burning software. I have had Daemon tools but not any more. Please help me!

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

  • How to restore missing fonts after Mavericks upgrade

If your fonts are not working in Pages and other software after a Mavericks  'upgrade', it might be that you still have them, and simply need to turn them back on...
    1. Go to Font Book
    2. Find the failing fonts.
    3. If they are marked 'Off' then right click them and highlight 'Enable Fonts' option.
    Hope this helps!
    Dan
FWIW Mavericks has wasted DAYS of my time this week... it disabled fonts, made my WD HDD incompatible, trashed Time Machine and lost my Google Drive folder, so my files don't sync etc.

There's a very old thread about this for CS2. Domingo Chavez listed the required fonts and where they belong for that version, and even posted them for others to download and replace. I don't know if the collection has changed, but judging from my system I think not, so it would be worth trying the older files. As always, back up first..
Start reading at http://forums.adobe.com/message/1308262#1308262 where you'll see the lists, and a bit further down you should find the links to where the files were posted. The first link is to a.rar archive, further down is a link to a slightly freindlier .zip version. What the heck, here's that link, which still seems to be active: http://public.newrandom.com/Reqrd.zip
But read the thread, anyway, so you understand what's up.

  • Missing fonts after installing Illustrator CC

Illustrator CS5 and CS6 (and previous versions) came with a set of core fonts, e.g. Myriad Pro, included upon install.
I uninstalled Illustrator CS6 (and all other CS6 products) before installing Illustrator CC, but none of the fonts were included, so in Illustrator I have no MyriadPro (the font appears in the font list, but has an asterisk next to it to indicate a subsitution is being made). Are these fonts no longer included?
Okay - fixed. A restart later and the fonts are there. They must be registered with Windows on restart, which is an odd way of doing it as there's no requirement that the computer be restarted between font installations.

Thanks for the reply, but the problem is deeper than that.  After Illustrator CC, the font is invisible to every program except Illustrator CS6.  So it appears that Illustrator CC has "removed" the font from my computer with the exception of Illustrator CC.  In any case, I have thousands of documents that use this font.  I'm not sure how I can deal with this.

  • Missing fonts after additional install...

I've been using InDesign CC for a couple weeks to update catalog pages last edited in CS6 without any issues. Yesterday, I installed Dreamweaver CC and now when I go back to InDesign it says I'm missing Myriad Pro. The font is still installed on my computer, InDesign just can't find it. Am I missing something here?
    Thanks

Thank you for the response...I actually just shut down InDesign and started it up again and the font was there. Makes no sense since I had completely rebooted my computer but at least its back.

  • Missing font after 10.5 upgrade

I had to do an erase & install when upgrading from 10.4 to 10.5. Once done, I found that at least one font (Bradley Hand) was missing. (Every time I open iWeb, I get an error message saying that Bradley Hand is missing even though I have edited my web pages to use other fonts).
A guy I spoke to on the Apple support line said that Bradley Hand is normally installed as part of OS 10.5, so something must have gone wrong in the installation. He then said I should archive and install the system software again which didn't help. Can Apple not just send me the font for installation? Any other suggestions?
    Cheers, MEHHK

Have you looked directly in the folder Library/Fonts to make sure the font is really missing (and you are not just getting a bad message from iWeb)? If you open TextEdit and do Format > Font > Show Fonts, is this font really missing from the list?

  • Lost a font after reinstall of CS2

    Hey,
Last week I had to reformat my computer and reinstall Photoshop CS2. I can no longer find a font I was using for a project, and I am pretty sure it was a Photoshop font because I don't think i ever added fonts. It is called "Motorwerk". Does anyone know if this is a Photoshop font, and if so how can I get it back?
    Thank you!
    Chris

That's not a font that came with Photoshop.

  • Missing programs after reinstall

I use my computer for graphic design for work. The computer guys "wiped out" all the programs so that I could install my own programs registered to me. After they put in the OS, I am missing programs that came on the Mac originally, like iDVD, iPhoto, iMovieHD... How do I get those back? They tried several times to use the disk that came with the computer, but no luck.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks
    Di

They can use Pacifist to install only those programs from the original disc that came with the computer. I believe you use the "Open System Packages" or something similar to get the iDVD, iPhoto, etc. packages available for install.

  • Help font differs from topic font after reinstall

    Hi
We have an old system that occasionally has an update. We use
RH X5. My hard disk crashed Monday and IT reinstalled Robohelp. I
updated a topic today. The original font was Arial 8. When I
recompiled the Help, the topics in the document that I updated are
displayed in the Help file in Times New Roman 8. Topics that have
not compiled are still in Arial 8. I created a small test help file
from scratch and the topic is displayed in Times New Roman 8.
Any ideas how I can get the proper font size back?

Thank you so much. The there was an answer (replace
HPJ2Hlp.dll) in the technotes forum (Font is substituted with Times
New Roman on WinHelp export). I downloaded the dll file and it
    worked!

  • Missing library after reinstall

I reinstalled Creative Cloud and Lightroom but when I did it is missing my previous library.  Can I retrieve?

    I assume you mean Catalog.
It is probably still sitting where ever it was previously stored.  Reinstalling does not affect Catalogs.  Use your OS to search for all files ending in .LRCAT

  • Missing fonts after upgrade

I've noticed that a key group of fonts I use on a regular basis are not being listed in my programs, however they are being listed in Font book as being installed.  This has only been since I upgraded to Lion.
The two fonts I am specifically looking for are calibri and Myriad Pro
    Any suggestions?

Good idea about getting it from a backup. Never done this before, fingers crossed that I have a recent backup!
    I'll see if this works.
    Cheers

  • After removing system fonts and reinstalling fonts, FireFox will not start

After removing system fonts and reinstalling fonts, FireFox will not start! When I start FireFox the "Mozilla Crash Reporter" opens as if FF just crashed??? I don't see any records in event viewer. I am using FF v3.6.3 on a Windows 7 box. I tried uninstalling 3.6.3 and installing 3.0.18 and had the same problem!
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
== After a uninstalled all fonts including system fonts and then reinstalling system fonts. ==

    Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; GTB6.4; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; AskTB5.5)

The files with submitted crash report ids are inside the ''submitted '' directory, from the directory you found the LastCrash.txt timestamp file.
The file names will begin with '''bp-'''
There might be more information from the crash report, but it might just tell us you are crashing the first time Firefox tries to use a font.
One thing I suppose you could do is select only those fonts you've got in Tools -> Options -> Content -> Fonts and Colors -> Advanced and then uncheck the '''Allow pages to use their own fonts''' option.
    See http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Options+window+-+Content+panel#Fonts_Dialog
To be honest, I can't find anything on this Netscape Font Navigator and it sounds highly dubious.

  • Fonts in lots of pages look "empty", but after reinstal it shows right

After starting Mozilla FireFox application I try to open pages.
Some of those pages show messed up fonts (Letters looks empty with border).
After reinstalling default system font "Tahoma" into Windows Fonts directory and refreshing page they looks correctly.
After restart of computer procedure repeats.
    How does it looks:

You can use this extension to see which fonts are used for selected text.

You can do a font test to see if you can identify corrupted font(s).
