Missing fonts - Installed now asking for (T1) versions
My office has a huge library of fonts, but most I believe are used by our designer who uses InDesign CS6 on her Mac. I am using a PC with Windows XP (with SP3). When I first opened one of our .indd files to make edits, I received a message that the following fonts were missing:
Adobe Garamond
Adobe Garamond Semi Bold
Adobe Garamond Bold
Adobe Garamond Expert
I was able to download TrueType versions of the first three (not Expert) and install them. When I reopened the same .indd file I received the same message, only this time each font had (T1) after the name. This seems strange, as I did not install any version of the Garamond Expert, and yet InDesign is still requesting a (T1) version. Would downloading OpenType versions be the solution to this, or is there a workaround in InDesign to use the TrueType Versions? I tried replacing the missing fonts, but was unable to replace each with their respective Bold / Semi Bold etc. TrueType equivalent.

Your Mac user has a VERY old collection of Mac-format T1 fonts. There is no way they can be used on Windows, so they are always going to show up as missing. You can substitute the TT versions, and install those onthe Mac as well, but there may be text reflow. A better solution would be to upgrade to OpenType versions (which would eliminate the need for the Expert set at the same time). I beleive ID ships with several weights of Adobe Garamond Pro.

Tina Hadley did you migrate/transfer your applications over to your new Macintosh? If so this could cause problems with your serial number being recognized. Please run the available uninstallers located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once this is done you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool. I have a new computer running os10.9. my old computer ran cs5.5(upgrade version). I am trying to get CS5.5onto my new computer. when i load cs5.5 towards the end of the install it asks for the cs5.5 serial number. i put that in and everything is accepted but then it asks for a serial number for a full version of a product which men is design premium cs3 but it doesn't give me that product as a choice from the drop down menu. it only gives me adobe master collection cs3. why when i have purchased all these different upgrades can i now not use them and how can i sort this out. i need cs5.5 on my new computer.

First of all, what is asking for a reinstall? Did you move PSE from another computer?

Compiling connman fails, asks for glib version already installed.
I just installed enlightenment and am trying to compile connman for network management. While checking dependencies it fails asking for glib version 2.22 or higher. I have glib 2.30.2 installed from core installed.
Any idea how to fix this?

Just updated my iPhone 5s from ios 8.1 to 8.3. After the install it asked for Apple ID and password and to allow it to sync to Mac and iTunes. After following the steps my phone kept restarting - turning on and off and goes blank. How do I fix this??
I have had about 9 iOS devices at work do this.
The fix and it will wipe out anything on your iphone is to connect it to your computer and have the latest version on iTunes open. Hold the Power/Sleep and Home button till it blanks out. Keep holding the home button untill it says recovery mode on the screen of the computer and do a restore. -

Since it's been a year since you download the app, delete the app then re download.

Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.

Muse does not stopp asking for new version

I installed it and tried to start Muse again.
Muse still asks for new version.
Under APPs I find Muse as updated to newest version.
I also started my Mac new.
Nothing helps.

If you did not removed the previous version, you should have two icons on your desktop. Adobe Muse and Adobe Muse CC 2014. Make sure you are clicking on Muse CC 2014, not on Adobe Muse. Better to remove older version and check it again, it should be fine.

My MacBook is now asking for a password. When I login, it loops to a blue screen, and back to the login. Incorrect logins create a shaking of the login screen. I tried restarting with the shift key depressed, with no luck.
I performed a hard shutdown, and upon start I could access my system without logging on. I'm not sure what caused the issue, but I have not booted up in almost a week.

Another reason why your password might not be recognized is that the keyboard layout (input source) has been switched without your realizing it.
