Missing functionality in iCal post upgrade
I have just upgraded to Lion and iCloud on Mac and sync with iPhone and iPad. The version of iCal on my Mac seems inferior to that in my iPad - no "invitations" button, no "list" option to view calendar and I can't seem to find a way to move to another week/month view quickly from the page I happen to be on without having to scroll through with the left/right arrow options on either side of the "today" button. What do I need to do to get a fully functional version back on my mac?

Export functionality doesn't work properly in reports post upgrade to EHP1
Dear Experts,
We have recently upgraded our BI system to EHP1 SP 7. Pre-upgrade the export functionality (to excel or pdf) was working fine, however post-upgrade in few reports we have encountered some issues.
In a couple of reports the exported excel is blank, in some reports, few web items are displayed properly but others not and in some reports exported excel or pdf is as it was pre-upgrade.
Could you please suggest any note or any solution which could fix this issue?

If the web item is made visible the data is exported to the excel/pdf and if hidden again it again results in blank excel/pdf.

Required Post Upgrade Jobs: Missing jobs and failures
Folks,
In reviewing "Required Post Upgrade Jobs", I found that "Compile Non-Compiled Flexfields" failed. The job was submitted by APPSMGR and immediately started since the Request Process queues were not initially deactivated as reccomended in doc 399362.1. I'm afraid I don't know the password for APPSMGR. Is there a way for me to restart this job so that any successors release?
Only a handful of the required jobs show to have been submitted and run. Would required jobs that have not run and do not appear in the queue need to be manually submitted?

Missing functions after Tiger upgrade
Several of my iBook G4 video functions have disappeared after upgrading to Tiger, I can no longer lower the resolution to 800 x 600, I tried fixing this by zapping the PRAM and deleting the window server preferences with no affect. I also can no longer adjust the brightness using the F1 and F2 keys.
I am assuming that these problems are on G4s. The following link describes how some video (OpenGL) features were accidentally left out of the Intel 10.4.7 updater-- it shouldn't affect G4s, but it makes me wonder if a similar snafu might have also happened with the PPC updater:

Just to chime in on the DVD issue, I've got a topic up about how a PowerMac G4/867 QuickSilver would only boot to the Darwin login prompt after installing the 10.4.7 update (but I suspect user error is to blame for that particular issue). However, I also can't seem to get that machine to boot from the Tiger Install disk using its superdrive.
You can go back to an older version of Mac OS if you can boot from the Install Disk, do an "Archive and Install", then download and install the "Mac OS X 10.4.6 Combo Update", which is a couple hundred megabytes. -
Is there "To Do" functionality in iCal 5.0 If So ... how?
Wondering if there is a "To Do" function within iCal 5.0 that I'm missing. I would find it very beneficial and have to believe I'm just not finding it.

Mail for Exchange Missing Functions E71 v E72

So I have been using an E71 with Mail for Exhcange for some time now and find it is very good.
However
I have an E72 with Mail for Exhcange already installed on the device BUT it clearly has missing functions whihc I had on the previous version on Mail fo Exchangeo n the E71.
These are
Comp Directory - Very useful for looking up contacts details from the GAB
View Log in Mail for Exchange. This is useful to see what the error is for a reason why the device may not be syncing with the MS Exchange Server.
Full resync in mail for Exchange. This again useful for support as other users will tell you that if the two systems have got their wires twisted, a full resync can fix the problem!
What version of the software do I have? Helps for future support and upgrades.

1. Only super user can access this /n/ASU/START
2. All the obligatory executable tasks are automatically performed by the system automatically during upgrade. SAPADM. Only errors (if any) are to be corrected.
3. Some of the tasks are only to go through some SAP notes as a precaution before upgrade.
4. Execute all the checks /n/ASU/UPGRADE
5. This surely can be skipped, but not advisable.

My reminders are gone from my Ical since upgrade. What do I need to do to input reminders in Ical and be able to print reminders with my ical. Thank you
I totally agree. I just wasted .5 hrs trying to figure out how to manipulate and sync the reminders with the iCAl. Thanks for posting this thread online, I can stop wasting my time now. Apple, please change it back or make these apps sync.
Side note. I was creating my to do list and found the ability to asign a date by draging the task to the calendar in the bottom right. Then I discovered that I can drag that same reminder/to-do task into iCal and it will be created as an event. Would be great if I could simply sync the reminders to iCal instead of draging them over though. Then when I make the change in one the other can update with the next sync. This also prevents human error if I drag and drop the reminder onto the wrong date in iCal. -
Post-upgrade tasks for OWB 10g Release 2

we're planning to upgrade from OWB 10.1.0.2 to 10.2.x.
Now, I'm trying to get a clear view on what will be the "post-upgrade" tasks, in terms of manual adaptations, corrections, etc. to get everything back up and running after the upgrade ...
E.g. : by means of test al already exported a dimension, and imported it in the 10.2 repository ... Turned out that in the pre-10.2 version, there were no validation problems, but as from 10.2 (although the upgrade and import were successful), I got 19 warnings and 2 errors ... because each level needs to have a business or surrogate key ...
It' s things like that I'm especially interested in, in order to determine the workload after the upgrade ...
So, feel free to share your experiences ; I'm looking forward to read them!

Key lookup You are to choose input and output attributes BEFORE being able to choose loookup table, all in a time consuming wizard
Expressions Copy and paste into expression editor, validation fails for expressions using lowercase (such as "upper" or "substr")
Renaming attributes Not possible anymore, you need to open details
Adding a table component You must browse in a tree structure (time consuming), not search functionality anymore
Import Import converting from 9.2 hangs after 15% in about 10% of all imports
Import Some mappings are not possible to import, a total rewrite is necessary
Deployment You can only deploy about 5-10 times before you need to restart OWB
Memory leak If something goes wrong in OWB, memory is never cleared - JAWAW.exe needs to be removed manually from memory
Import Importing mappings one by one (as this is sometimes needed due to OWB), the last directory used is OF COURSE not default when importing the next time
OWB GUI / mapping editor When working with components in the mapping editor, an object hidden behind the object you are actually working with is selected prior to the object in visual focus to the user

We have currently upgraded our system to 12.1.1 from 12.0.6 post upgrade when we started our application

ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called: "APPS.FND_DCP"
ORA-06512: at line 1.
When checked we found that the package body is missing while we only have package that is "Valid"
Kindly please provide your inputs as this is extremely necessary for us.

Post upgrade I accidentally packaged an EAR without above references in application.xml and without actual jars in the EAR file. The application seemed to be running fine, did not test it completely though. Do we really need these jar files? I had upgraded this application from 8.1 to 10.3 using upgrade tool in workshop. This is a portal based web application. Also, what is the purpose of these libraries? Could these be automatically added by the upgrade tool to the weblogic.xml.Hi Srini,

If those are the errors you were also experiencing, then please follow one of these options to resolve this issue:OPTION
1:Identify all the JARs that contain the beehive classes and explicitly add the jar files to the classpathOPTION
2:When you created the domain (if you used the Config Wizard), do you make it a "Workshop" domain? If not, try that.That should deploy the Workshop framework (Beehive controls, NETUI, etc) libraries as shared libraries. Then these libraries should be referenced in your applications weblogic.xml and weblogic-application.xml.

Missing entrys in SPRO after upgrade to FS-RI 6.60

We've upgraded FS-RI 472 to 6.60 fp4. (R/3 470 to ERP 60 EHP 4)
Refering to the Release notes there should be some new entries under "Accounting", "Settings for Time Period".
There should be "Edit Financial Years", "Open and Close Accounting Periods". We only have "Edit Scope of Accounting Period".
Anyone have any idea? I guess I've missed some step in the upgrade.Randy,
