Missing Graphic Tag error starting graphical service :

Hello,
I've already installed Sap Solution Manager 7.0 SR3 on unix system and patched with SPS 15 (both ABAP+Java)
When I try to start :
http://<hostname>.<domain_name>:<port_number>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/solutionmanager/solmangraphic.htm
it asks for username and password, then I get the following error:
Invalid Routine or Argument
if I click on ok:
Missing Graphic Tag
Does anyone get the same error?
With best Regards
Fabrizio

  • Mail package: missing end tag error

    Hi All
    I am using mail package for my receiver mail adapter.
    I have the required configuration for mail package as shown below:
    <ns1:Mail xmlns:ns1="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Mail/30">
      <Subject>Test Subject</Subject>
      <From>From Sender</From>
      <To>To Sender</To>
      <Content_Type>text</Content_Type>
      <Content>
      <Valid_Object>1000006-AAA-AAA</Valid_Object>
      <Company_Code>1001</Company_Code>
      </Content>
    </ns1:Mail>
    I get the following error in the communication channel monitoring:
    Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: com.sap.aii.messaging.util.XMLScanException: expecting end tag: Mail, but found {}Content at state 1
    How can i set this expected end tag?
    I thought </ns1:Mail> is the end tag and it is defined properly.
    Thanks
    Chandra

    Hello Sebin
    I have a proxy to mail scenario.
    I am extracting data from SAP and I have to send it in email as a text attachment.
    So, i am using mail package. My message type is as follows (as suggested by documentation):
    <ns1:Mail xmlns:ns1="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Mail/30">
    <Subject>Test Subject</Subject>
    <From>Sender email</From>
    <To>Receiver email</To>
    <Content_Type>text</Content_Type>
    <Content>
    <Valid_Object>1000006-AAA-AAA</Valid_Object>
    <Company_Code>1001</Company_Code>
    </Content>
    <Content>
    <Valid_Object>1000006-BBB-BBB</Valid_Object>
    <Company_Code>1002</Company_Code>
    </Content>
    </ns1:Mail>
    I also checked 'keep attachments' option. I am not using adapter specific message attributes for mail adapter.
    Now, i am getting the following error in communication channel monitoring:
    Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException:
    com.sap.aii.messaging.util.XMLScanException: expecting end tag: Mail, but found {}Content at state 1
    I have a start tag "http://sap.com/xi/XI/Mail/30" as suggested by documentation.
    I thought, end tag can only be </ns1:Mail> which closes initially opened start tag with the same name.
    What is the mistake here? How can i get the end tag?
    Many Thanks
    Chandra

  • Error Starting Adtser service [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near '!'.

    Been fighting ACS upgrade issues since we upgraded to R2.  Every night the ACS service fails.  When I start it back up I get the following error.
    It looks like the DbCreatePartition.sql and/or DbDeletePartition.sql scripts are not running as we have a lot of views prefixed dvAll, dvAll5, etc.  but no actual view of this name as is supposed to be and reports for user activity are throwing an error.
     I have done everything I can find on the blogs, but nothing is helping.  We have almost a terabyte of data in this database and reinstalling a new database is 99% out of the question.
    I dont know if its permission related or not, but I am up to here with this ACS server.
    Any help would be great, thank you
    Warm Fuzzies!

    Hi,
    If Event 4618  is logged when the updating process sets permissions on certain stored procedures.
    You can safely ignore event 4618 in this scenario.
    Here is more details, please refer to the below link:
    Event 4618 is logged when you use the AdtSetup.exe program to update an Audit Collection Services installation in System Center Operations Manager 2007
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949452/en-us
    And if the event indecate logon failed, then the below article could be helpful:

    This message comes up for me when i run a project that is different than what's indicated in the error message. In fact, the project has been deleted, yet, it still is referenced during the "run" step.

  • HT1349 Trying to install latest iTunes for Windows 7 64-bit. Keep getting this error message "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."

    Initially iTunes would not run although it had been running quite well up until now. Suddenly received this error on PC start-up "The program can't start because MSVC80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Research on Net pointed me to iTunes as the issue. Tried to start iTunes and received that message again. Tried installing latest version of 64-bit iTunes and received the subject message part way through the install: Trying to install latest iTunes for Windows 7 64-bit. Keep getting this error message "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
    iTunes has been running great on this PC for years. What's up?

  • What does this error message mean and how do I fix the problem? Service "Apple Mobile Device' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services. I'm trying to install the new version of iTunes.

    When I get to the service section when I try to install the newest version of iTunes I get an error message. I'd really like to be able to connect to the Apple Store but can't figure out how to get those "sufficient privileges to start system services" and there doesn't seem to be any help on the Apple Support section of their Website - at least that I can find. Can anyone help me?
    I uninstalled the older version of iTunes. Apparently there was a .dll missing. I also uninstalled Safari since iTunes apparently uses some of the same applications as iTunes. It's getting frustrating not being able to buy books or access the books I already have.
    Thanks for any help you can provide. Sometimes computers mystify me.

    I am having this same problem. I took Kappy advice on restarting the Apple Mobile Device Service, however that did not work. I got this message in a pop up window that came up immediately.
    Windows could not start the Apple Mobil Device Service on local computer.
    Error 1053  The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
    I have already uninstalled itunes, all the related programs and I cannot reinstall, this Apple Mobil Device message stops the install.
    Can anyone please help?

  • Tip regarding the "systemd[1]: Failed to start Journal Service" error

    Just a tip regarding the well-known
    systemd[1]: Failed to start Journal Service
    error (which I ran into last weekend) to maybe save one or two among you a couple of hours of your time:
    The error is described here https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=151012 as well as in several other threads in other language boards / in other forums etc. It is usually (as in the linked thread) 'solved' by reinstalling the system - good old Windows magic, also useful when dealing with systemd.
    The Problem with this error is that you do not get into your system. Instead, systemd will print you the mentioned "Failed to start Journal Service" error message a couple of million times. There are also no logs that you could retrieve (when booting from a livesystem) and that would give you any helpful hints, since journal is systemd's logging service, old-style system logs are not kept, and the dmesg log doesn't survive the reboot with default settings.
    As pointed out in the above mentioned thread, you will see a few more instructive error messages when adding 'emergency' to the kernel line in the bootloader config.
    Now there may be plenty of reasons why the systemd journal service might not work. The most common and most annoying, however, appears to be this one:
    In this case you will see that the problem actually lies in
    systemd[1]: Cannot open /etc/machine-id: No such file or directory
    Now, 'man machine-id' reveals that "the /etc/machine-id file contains the unique machine id of the local system that is set during installation. (...) The machine ID is usually generated from a random source (...)". It is obviously perfectly justified to refuse to boot the system because an absolutely insignificant random number is missing. As far as systemd is concerned anyway.
    Usually, it seems, the /etc/machine-id is set by /usr/bin/systemd-machine-id-setup during installation or system upgrade. It is not documented anywhere that this is a rather important step and that you should better check if this was or was not actually done before rebooting. Obviously (but for no apparent reasons) systemd fails to run this (or to run this successfully) sometimes.
    Also to be recommended: Always retain (back up) your old kernel and initramfs and edit your bootloader config appropriately to be able to boot with your old kernel again ... just to have one or two options left to get back into the system in case of running into an unpleasant surprise from the side of systemd or other packages.
    The solution is, obviously, to create this file /etc/machine-id ... You probably want to do that from a livesystem (if you want to try it from the emergency shell, you would need to remount / (i.e. root) as rw and hope that systemd will not punish you for that) by just running the program that was designed for creating this file manually:  /usr/bin/systemd-machine-id-setup
    http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.comp.s … devel/7528 states that it might also work with merely creating the file 'touch /etc/machine-id'. Though I didn't try that since I had enough fun with systemd for one week and didn't want to break my system again just to see if that works.

    ackalker wrote:Sorry for necrobumping this.
    Generating the machine-id in a consistent way is very important when working with KVM and containers, where the machine-id can be set for the VM or container. See `man systemd-machine-id-setup`.
    Again, _don't_ just put some random UUID in there, especially not in the systemd package install script, this makes provisioning Arch Linux containers a PITA.
    If you thing that the way that arch is handlynbg the machine-id is wrong or can be improved, then file a bug.
    He already did.
    Jristz wrote:Anyway, I thing if reinstalling systemd package or if systemd have a command to reinitialize the machine-id file.
    Like so many of your posts, I had to read this a half dozen times before it made any sense. I think you're hinting at the utility that ackalker already pointed out in the post you're replying to. And, if you read the install scriptlet, you wouldn't need to think about whether or not reinstalling would be an option. You would know that it isn't.

  • I am facing problem in starting ShellHWDetection service Error code 1075,please help

    I am facing problem in starting ShellHWDetection service Error code 1075,please help

    Shellhwdetection is a Windows service which stands for Shell Hardware Detection Service.
    It provides notifications for AutoPlay hardware events.
    System error code 1075 means "The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion."
    Please run services.msc, then find Shell Hardware Detection Service, view its dependencies
    Make sure the three services are set to running "automatic" in Services.
    If this doesn't help, then run sfc to check if there're some missing or corrupted files in system.

    Did I miss something out while migrating to systemd, is it a problem with SLiM or user session maybe ? Do you guys have any ideas where to start ? Thanks.

  • PDF Export: Missing Graphics

    PDF Export: Missing Graphics<br /><br />Below is a section of code we are using to export a document as a PDF. The code will work 99% of the time, but occasionally we are getting the resulting PDF with some of the linked PDF components completely missing!<br /><br />The only way we have been able to reproduce this is (strangely) by continually opening and closing 'Windows Explorer' windows (We are using CS2 on XP), just as the process begins, until the final PDF is created.<br /><br />Our customer (who has hilighted the problem) would clearly not be doing this but we feel there is an issue here. (If the keyboard and mouse are left completely alone, the process is successful... 100% OF THE TIME!).<br /><br />The problem occurs both on site and at base, the linked PDF's are located on the LAN.<br /><br />The code snippet (with error checking taken out for brevity) is below:<br /><br />     UIDRef pageUIDRef = PCSImageUtils::GetFirstPageUIDRef();<br />     UIDList temp = ((UIDList)(pageUIDRef));     <br /><br />     ErrorCode status = kFailure;<br />     do<br />     {<br />          // obtain command boss<br />                InterfacePtr<ICommand> pdfExportCmd(CmdUtils::CreateCommand(kPDFExportCmdBoss));<br />          <br />          // set export prefs<br />          InterfacePtr<IPDFExportPrefs> pdfExportPrefs(pdfExportCmd, UseDefaultIID());<br />          InterfacePtr<IPDFExportPrefs> appExportPrefs((IPDFExportPrefs*)::QuerySessionPreferences(IID_IPDFEXPORTPREFS));<br />          pdfExportPrefs->CopyPrefs(appExportPrefs);<br /><br />          // set SysFileData<br />          PMString pmFilePath("C:\\Outputfile.PDF");<br />          IDFile sysFilePath(pmFilePath);<br />          InterfacePtr<ISysFileData> trgSysFileData(pdfExportCmd, IID_ISYSFILEDATA);<br />          trgSysFileData->Set(sysFilePath);<br />          <br />          // set UI flags<br />          InterfacePtr<IUIFlagData> uiFlagData(pdfExportCmd, IID_IUIFLAGDATA);<br />          uiFlagData->Set(kSuppressUI);<br />          <br />          // set UIDList containing pages to output (item list of command)<br />          UIDList theList(temp);<br />          pdfExportCmd->SetItemList(theList);<br />          <br />          // set UIDRefs containing pages to output (IOutputPages)<br />          InterfacePtr<IOutputPages> outputPages(pdfExportCmd, UseDefaultIID());<br />          outputPages->Clear();<br />          IDataBase* db = theList.GetDataBase();<br />          outputPages->SetMasterDataBase(db);<br />          int32 nProgressItems = theList.Length(); <br />          for (int32 index = 0 ; index < nProgressItems ; index++) <br />          {<br />                  outputPages->AppendUIDRef(theList.GetRef(index));<br />          }<br /><br />          // set PDF document name (get name from IDocument)<br />          InterfacePtr<IDocument> doc ((IDocument*)db->QueryInstance(db->GetRootUID(), IID_IDOCUMENT));<br />          PMString documentName; <br />          doc->GetName(documentName);<br />          outputPages->SetName(documentName);<br />          <br />          // finally process command<br />          status = CmdUtils::ProcessCommand(pdfExportCmd);<br />     } while(false);<br /><br />Thanks in advance.<br /><br />Dave Wilson.

  • Missing graphics - how to skip in Open

    In my test script to cope with the various open errors I have this definition for the OpenParms:
      i = GetPropIndex(params, Constants.FS_RefFileNotFound);  // Document imports another file that isn’t available.
      params[i].propVal.ival = Constants.FV_AllowAllRefFilesUnFindable;
    When opening a book with files creating various errors, I get a dialog at the file which has missing graphics
    «Cannot display some imported graphics. The image will appear as gray boxes»
    Isn't this covered by the above OpenParm ?
    The whole test with files is in my dropbox.

    Below my signature are a set of functions that I use to get a document. I call getDocument, which first does a check to see if the document is already open (docIsOpen function); if it is, it returns it. If it isn't, it calls the openDoc function. Here is a sample call:
    var oDoc = getDocument (filename);
    if (oDoc.doc.ObjectValid ()) {
        // Call the function to process the document.
        processDoc (oDoc.doc);
        // If the document was opened by the script, save it and close it.
        if (oDoc.docIsOpen === false) {
            oDoc.doc.SimpleSave (filename,false);
            oDoc.doc.Close (true);
    The important thing to notice is that getDocument does not return a FrameMaker document directly; it returns a JavaScript object with two members. The first (doc) is the FrameMaker document object and the second (docIsOpen) is a boolean (true or false) value that says if the document was already open. If a document was already open, then I don't want my script to save and close the document when it is done. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

  • WT 2.5 / WT 2.5.2 - Web Services problem - Missing end tag??

    Hi,
    I'm trying to create a J2ME web services client using the wireless toolkit. I used the Stub Generator to create my STUB from my WSDL file.
    With the Wireless Toolkit 2.5 I was getting a "Missing end tag for body or envelope" error when I invoked a web method. I read that this was a problem with that version of the Wireless Toolkit (a parsing problem).
    I then upgraded to Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2. When running my app on the emulator, the "Missing end tag for body or envelope" error went away, and I was successfully invoking web methods, and the results were being parsed fine. However, when I put this .jar on to my handset (a Nokia E70) I still see the "Missing end tag for body or envelope" error!
    Does anyone know why this is?

    The IDE i'm using is NetBeans. I have WTK2.5 and WTK2.5.2 installed. When I flick the "emulator platform" from WTK2.5 to WTK2.5.2 the error "Missing end tag for body or envelope" does go away, and the SOAP response is successfully parsed. However, when I flick it back to WTK2.5, I get the error back. The SOAP message is being sent properly, and a good response is returned. The problem is with parsing the response. WTK2.5 can't seem to parse it, but WTK2.5.2 can.
    So I can get the application working fine (when the emulator platform is set to WTK2.5.2), but the problem is, I still get the error when I install the app on any phone, and I don't understand why???
    If anyone can shed any light on this, i'd be very grateful.
    p.s I've tested the app on the following handsets:
    Sony Ericsson P1i, K800i
    Nokia E70, E61
