Missing igoogle gadgets Firefox ver 9.0.1; but there in IE and Chrome.

Earlier today all my igoogle gadgets were appearing on Firefox. However this afternoon they are missing. Chrome and IE still display the gadgets. I have tried several fixes (disabling suggested add-ons, extensions, and plug-ins) but problem persists.

Websites remembering you and automatically log you on is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Private Browsing mode.

Do not use Clear Recent History to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"

Does the Safari5.1 in Windows7 use its own java plug-in instead of SUN's?

Firefox can access the website but nothing displays yet google chrome works, what gives?

i can access the login page and supply my id and passwd and then it appears to be going well according to the info bar at the bottom but nothing ever displays. if i let it sit long enough for my session to expire the expiration warning box pops up. i click okay but nothing ever displays. firefox vers 3.6.10, google chrome vers 6.0.472.63 works without issue. i've deleted all my history and cookies and no change. any help or suggestions appreciated.

i had already did this but in the spirit of cooperation i went thru it again. funny thing is, firefox in safe mode won't even display the log in page yet regular firefox will. so safe mode isn't buying me anything. so for now i google chrome my netzero mail and firefox everything else. very frustrating. as a side note this issue is mirrored on my windows 7 enterprise laptop for work. i use the same "workaround" there too. additionally all other webmail accounts are fine(yahoo, hotmail, etc...). thanx for the reply though. any help is appreciated.

Why would Firefox give me an "Untrusted Connection" error where IE and Chrome don't?

I get an Untrustead connection error in Firefox when accessing https://eponline.mom.gov.sg/epol/. Both IE and Chrome trust the site. What's different about Firefox?

Firefox cannot access the internet but other programs can, and all the steps in the help section don't help.

When ever I open Firefox it says "unable to connect" but internet explorer can connect. This started yesturday. I had been online with firefox then I closed the window and ten minutes later when I tried to get back on it started this unable to connect.

Display includes lots of diamonds with question marks. Some are from curly quotation marks, which Firefox never did display correctly, but there are more than ever with 5.0

PS the opposite problem, HTML code shows, in the American National Biography database. There, quotes sometimes show as """ and apostrophes sometimes display "r" never happened before and IE works fine.

Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. Now do this:
-> Update ALL your Firefox Plug-ins https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
-> go to View Menu -> Zoom -> click "Reset"
-> go to View Menu -> Page Style -> select "Basic Page Style"
-> go to View Menu -> Toolbars -> unselect unwanted toolbars
-> go Tools Menu -> Clear Recent History -> Time range to clear: select EVERYTHING -> click Details (small arrow) button -> place Checkmarks on ALL Options -> click "Clear Now"

You can enable your Known & Trustworthy Add-ons later. Check and tell if its working.

Getting firefox crash report confirmation emails but there not being sent by me!

The email appears 100% legit however i only use firefox as a backup browser and dont use it more than 2-3 times a month i just did a check on my firefo to see if it ever crashed without me remembering and it says this.

Can you use the original email address where the crash reports are supposed to be sent to report the abuse?
My point was that if you had access to the original messages claiming to come from you, you could do something about it by sending copies to an anti-spam or anti-abuse organization. If someone sends messages to someone else claiming to come from you, you do not have access to those messages.

Auscompgeek: Firefox 3.6.6 works, but 3.6.7 and 3.6.8 bring up a cannot connect issue

Firefox 3.6.7 and 3.6.8 do not connect to the internet. I've been on Mozilla support, and no luck. I have tried everything that I can, it's left to the dev team to fix the problem for 3.6.9 else I just won't be able to use it ever again.
4.0b1 works too... but it has this issue of switching to the windows 7 basic theme -.- but I heard this is a known issue and 4.0b2 is coming out soon.
I've posted 2 threads on here before but I've had no response. So here I go again...

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. And this is more than "plausible", it is "confirmed" (if you watch MythBusters). There are update log files that clearing show what is happening and why.
The most disturbing thing about this "bug", is that it clearly shows that nearly everyone is performing there "normal" activities (browsing, email, etc.) from an account with Admin privs. This means that when ('''not "if"''') the latest version of an infection gets past your AV shield (they can only block the ones already reported), it has access to every sensitive part of your system. I could give a long explanation of infections with a lot boring details, but just believe this:
