Missing Images After Upgrade to OS 4.5

I upgraded my handset to OS 4.5 today, and noticed that the sample pictures that came with my phone (or images that came with my phone in the device memory), are no longer there. Prior to my updating to OS 4.5, the images were found under Pictures/Preloaded Pictures.
Have the been moved to another location (they are not on my media card), or have they been deleted? I really liked those images as my handheld's background, and would like to get them back.
Thanks!

Solved!
Go to Solution.

I don't recall if .77 had the preloaded images or not, offhand.
Enabling Mass Storage on the Media Card will allow you to treat the Media Card as a removable drive when you are connected via USB to the PC.

Missing Airdrop after upgrade to Mavericks  ( runing 8 g i5 mac pro)

Actually, the Evernote extension thing was just a coincidence.
It seems the real culprit is the firewire mixer connected to the laptop. After a reboot, I often have to shut the mixer off and then turn it back on before things start working properly.
Chrome is not the only software affected either. So far, I've discovered iTunes and Safari are also basically crippled after a reboot until I turn the mixer off.
Something is wrong with Maverick's implementation of FireWire, I'm afraid. I've written about cracking and popping noises I get from QuickTime when playing audio over FireWire.
    Something just ain't right.

  • Missing features after upgrade

I updated my 3GS to 4.0 and lost cell data (though it will show full bars and 3G), as well as MMS. I then got the iPhone 4 and restored from my 3GS backup. Now, I am missing those features as well FaceTime (which isn't even showing up in the phone settings). Anyone know what's going on?
Most important is obviously that I'm able to access the data network. I'd rather not restore entirely because I'd then lose camera roll, text history, etc.

Hello, I had the same problem yesterday after upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. After searching the web I found this solution (source: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01114052#SelectiveUpdate) which worked for me:      Step 4: Selectively update the imaging device driverIf a webcam driver is recognized after running the scan for new hardware in Device Manager, verify it is the latest version of the driver. note:If there is an HP webcam driver on the product page for your model and OS, use that driver, otherwise use the Microsoft USB Video Device driver. In the Device Manager, under Imaging Devices, expand the list of webcam drivers, right-click the webcam driver, and then select Properties.Figure : Webcam PropertiesMake a note of the existing name of the webcam driver (Example: HP Webcam), as it may change after the update. On the Webcam Properties window, select Update Driver....When prompted, select the option to Browse the computer for desired driver. When prompted, select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer option.De-select the Show compatible hardware checkbox, select Microsoft in the Manufacturer pane, select USB Video Device in the Model pane, and then click Next to install the desired webcam driver.Allow the installation of the USB Video Device, and then click Close.View the Imaging devices option in the Device Manager to verify the presence of a webcam driver.   Hope this works for you too. Regards,

  • Organizer 10 missing thumbnails after upgrade

After upgrading from Elements 7 to 10, I'm missing 1400 thumbnails in Organizer 10 that are still present in Organizer 7. Is there some way to find the missing images and get them viewable in Organizer 10? Thank you.

Well, I figured how to fix the problem manually, fairly quickly. Clicked on Display, then folder location. In the My Pictures section, it was was easy to identify the 20-30 folders (out of about 100) whose images had not been imported into organizer. Right clicked each one, one at a a time, and clicked to import images. Voila.  Took about 10 minutes, and all the images are now in Organizer 10. Thanks for the ideas to help me.

  • Missing Photos after Upgrading to 1.5.3

I wanted to ask anyone if they've had the problem I've had after upgrading to ver. 1.5.3. Once this upgrade was done, and I opened Aperture, I noticed that lots of photos seems to be missing. Seemed to be from July of 2006 to current. These photos were stored in several projects that I created simply listed as months (ie. 0701-Photos) meaning Jan of 2007 photos, etc.
These projects and their photos are not to be seen now. I'm hoping there're on my hard drive somewhere. I've tried to rebuild library but no luck.
If anyone has any ideas... Please! Thanks!
PowerMac G5, MacBook Pro 15   Mac OS X (10.4.9)   30" Apple Cin. display

If you have an updated Vault try recovering from there.
If not, in the Finder ctrl+click on Aperture's Library and 'show package contents'. In there you'll see the projects. Ctrl+click on one with missing images and 'show package contents' again. If you can see the masters there they should be recovered by rebuilding the Library.
Check also that you don't have anything written on the searching box on the top right of the browser, by default should say 'Unrated or Better'. You might have written something and it's showing the filtered results.

  • No images after upgrading to MX7

After upgrading to ColdFusion MX7 I noticed my exisitng .cfm
pages are no longer displaying images on the local testing server.
I did see that I had the old CFusionMX and a newer CFusionMX7
folder. I moved all my files from the CFusionMX folder to
CFusionMX7 folder using the same file structure for images. Nothing
else changed however when I launch the web pages I get red x marks.
I did update my site data to match the new folder locations. And
even duoble checked my image paths. Any Ideas ?

I did see that I had the old CFusionMX and a newer CFusionMX7
    folder.
That could mean that you didn't completely uninstall the old
version of Coldfusion before installing MX7. You might have copied
old system settings that affect images or path. Alternatively,
there may still be places where you have to change
    CFusionMX into
    CFusionMX7.

  • Blurred low res images after upgrade, no export, READ DON'T UPGRADE

Hello, I am Pro photographer, I mainly have used iPhoto for family stuff. After upgrading from 09 to 11 ALL my images seem to be blured as if they were only the reference thumbnail. Trying to export the images to my Desktop to see what is going on iPhoto just hang and then crashes.
I've just lost nearly 10 years of family pictures? come on Apple this is like a early Alpha.

I have now upgraded three different machine with different iPhoto databases and have not had any issue with the clarity of the photos. I suspect that something happened to your photos during the conversion process.
I suggest you go back to your original iPhoto library and do a new conversion with iPhoto '11 to see if you get a better result as no one else has reported this issue.

  • Missing Playlists after upgrade

  • Can anyone help me with my missing addresses after upgrade?

I have posted two questions as to why all my addresses disappeared after upgrading from OS 3.9 to 4.10 but there have been no responses. Is this the ONLY avenue to get support because, if so, it is definitely the Emperors New Support Line. I am hoping someone will help me find my list of addresses if they are still in my G4. Or even tell me they are gone forever. Any response would be good. Thanks.

    Hello,
What type of installation of Tiger did you choose when doing this "upgrade"?
Use Spotlight to search for any folders named AddressBook. The one the AB application is accessing is found in the Applications Support folder in the Library of your Home folder, but perhaps there is more than one onboard?
In Home/Library/Applications Support/AddressBook what are the files present, and what are their various dates last modified?

  • Missing slideshows after upgrade to iPhoto'11

I think I have the same problem as dyanefromshelton just posted:  After upgrading from iPhoto'08 to iPhoto'11 I don't seem to have my slideshows.  They are all listed under slideshows, but there appears to be no content in them when I try to play them. Are they lost due to incompatibility, or is there some way to get them back?

I just closed iPhoto and opened it again, and now everything is OK!

rashfeather wrote:Edit: Is it generally good practice to run pacman -Syu instead of upgrading individual packages?
Yep. Updating individual packages can lead to breakage if they were built against newer versions of other packages. This could be avoided by extensive use of versioned dependendencies but Arch assumes that the user is using the latest versions of all packages. In general, if you have to update the database to install a package because the version listed in the current database is no longer available, update the system before you install anything new to ensure compatibility (as far as possible).
In your case, if you had 488 outdated packages and only wanted to update vlc, then the rolling-release model might not be ideal for your situation. There is no set rule of how often you should update and often you don't actually need to if everything is working, but whenever the "how often do you update" thread comes up, it seems that most people update once a day. Doing so also means that there are fewer things that can go wrong at once.
