Missing in IE 8 Version

For IE 6, Smart Web Printing displayed "Print this page" checkboxes for each page of a print preview. That feature was very useful, and I used it a lot. But it is missing in the IE 8 version. I'd sure like to see it put back.

The longer this thread continues, the more ancillary comments you throw in that aren't directly pertinent to your problem with your DVR software not working with Firefox 4.0. Sorry, I don't intend to continue with this discussion.
I do agree that ''something'' needs to be done better with regards to plugins for Firefox, but I do disagree with you as to whose responsibility that ''something'' is.

File + Edit menus missing from PSE9 trial version

I installed the trial version of PSE9 and am having a fundamental problem with the Organizer. Various functions require me to access File or Edit menus which, according to the Help file, should be at the top of the screen but they are nowhere to be found.
For example, I want to Move files offline to a CD or DVD. To do that - according to the Help facility - I have to start by clicking on File - Move, but nowhere can I find this "File".
Does anyone here know whether these menus are missing from the trial version of the Organizer ? Or are they hidden somewhere ?

When forwarding this to the product management you might mention that this problem was encountered on a Window 7 Ultimate 64-bit system. I mention this because I have discovered the the "Ultimate" and 64-bit versions sometimes behave significantly differently from the other versions of Windows 7. In particular, some of my recently-purchased software has been unable to deal with the 64-bits, possibly because parts of them were written 10 years ago albeit purchased recently.

I get "Missing InfoCube 0COPA_C01 in Version A" error message when trying to migrate ZCOMP_CODE Object ( in RSEC_MIGRATION program) when migration from BW3.5 to BI7.0.
Does anybody have an idea how I could fix this issue.

I came across a similar problem.You need to activate the Business Content ( all info providers, infocubes, ODS objects ) related to the Authorization objects you are trying to migrate from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0.

Missing startup script for version cue

I'm having the problem where I don't seem to have the startup scripts for version cue in bridge.
When I check the list of startup scripts in preferences, the other scripts all seem to be there like for contribute, fireworkds etc. However version cue is missing.
I also checked the actual locations for the startup scripts.
The scripts for version cue seem to be in the actual locations but for some reason they're not running or showing up in bridge or that's what I'm assuming anyway.
I'm running bridge CS4 and version cue CS4.
If anyone could help me that would be great!

What then do they recommend? The URL listed below is broken/no longer available. The solution listed above does appear to work. I installed Version Cue Server CS4 after having installed the rest of the suite on my workstation. I used drive to link to the server(my machine which I am using for testing). I had CS3 on this machine before uninstalling it and installing CS4.

Missing text in Slideshow version of a Classic book?

I ordered three copies of a Classic book last night. I played the iPhoto book as a slideshow this morning and some critical text is missing from two pages in the slideshow version (the book still looks complete in my iPhoto 6). All of the pages with photos appear correctly, but, two of the facing text pages are blank. The rest of the book shows photos and facing text correctly. Does this mean that the text was not uploaded on my book order. I created a book of poetry with a photo on the left-facing page and a short poem on the right. I used "Introduction" pages for the text/poetry and deleted the default headings.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. You may have to contact Apple when you receive the books to request a refund if they come back without the text. It's wise to double check how the book will look by doing a Print to PDF of it and seeing if the text comes thru OK and all else looks good.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. Are my source track indicators missing from my trial version?

I am new to this and have the trial version of Premiere Pro CS4. The first day everything was great and was easy to learn. When the time came to drag my clip from the source monitor to the timeline, the lines for the timeline are present, but the words video track 1 etc. are missing. For the last 14 days, I have been trying to locate the source track indicators. I watched the video lessons, read the tuturials, tried to add new tracks ~ nothing works. Customer Service can't help me and tech support won't because I don't have a plan with them. I don't know what else to do. Can anyone help me?

I tried to ignore all this but since this seems to be an ongoing contention with some, I need to address the issue. I did not write my question or information blindly. I did take the time to look at the pdf version in the Premiere Pro Help and Support so I would use the proper terms. When dealing with a new product, if what you are expecting to see is not there, it is very confusing. In Chapter 8 pg. 130 it states: "A single timeline panel appears in a frame in the lower central portion of the screen when you first launch Adobe Premiere Pro. It did not in my case. Looking at the diagram, I realized that it was not the same as what I was seeing and I described exactly what was missing to the forum. On the diagram located on Pg. 131, letter (F) points to the video and audio tracks. Pg. 132 the letter (F) corresponds with the name "source track indicators". I explained exactly what happened that I could not drag my clip from the "source monitor." to the "timeline." Sometimes, products are not always downloaded completely, and before I spent anymore time looking for something that's not there, (after 14 days) I came to the forum of which I was directed by tech support. After reading what I originally wrote, I explained to this forum exactly what was happening to me step by step and these were the names associated with my problem. So, at least I made an attempt (which I still don't understand what was wrong with my question) to try to use the correct terms so that I wouldn't waste anyones time. In all fairness, I think you should review some of the responses about things I didn't ask, and something about the word "clip" that seemed to bother someone. Well, that's exactly what I ment to say that I couldn't drag the clip from the source monitor. That term was fine when the video instructor used it. So, now you know where I got my terms from to try to ask a question. I wasn't irresponsible, I tried to find the answer and to get help from customer service and tech support for 14 days before I asked on here. I did the best that I could. Glenn didn't have a problem understanding what I was talking about or providing the proper solution. He also wasn't condescending... he was encouraging ~ which is what a forum should be.

We have opened a PDF file in Acrobat 7 the bracket is missing but when we used Acrobat 8 the bracket is visible.

PAPI documentation missing from enterprice standalone version 5.72

Hi,
I have installed a standalone version of ALBPM Enterprise server 5.72.
I am am unable to find JavaDoc for PAPI. Previous versions (5.7) stored javadoc in C:\bea\albpm5.7\enterprise\client\papi\javadoc.
This version's PAPI directory contais only LIB subdirectory.
Am I missing something?

Thanks Anjaneai. This was indeed the problem. Unfortunately, from what I can tell, this is caused by a bug in RH 9 when creating a new RH project using our translated files.
In our localization process, we created a CHM in RH 7, then we decompiled the CHM and sent the decompiled files off to localization. The HMTL image tag we got back from our translators, prior to creating the RH 9 project was good as shown in a standard text editor (Notepad++):
But, after creating a RH 9 project from these files, the image tag, as you noticed, is screwed up to this:
Looks like I'll have to go back to RH 7 to regenerate the printed output until they can come up with a fix.
And yes, I know we're using a rather backwards localization process, and should be localizing the RH project directly instead of decompiling, creating new projects etc. We're slowly working on that.

When will you let users add the missing e for this version of firefox? I don't want to use firefox anymore now.

The missing e has been "incompatible" with this version of firefox for at least a year. This is annoying. Which browser should I use?

My browser is unsupported since I'm running Nightly 34.0a1 (very early build of Firefox) but the latest Firefox 31.0 should be working.

Missing commands/utilities after version 10-x86 install

I've had more problems installing version 10-x86 than any other version I can recall (most SPARC/x86 since version 6).
I downloaded and created the installation set (4 CDs) from the ISO images. The first problem was that it couldn't run the gui because the box had only 255 MB RAM (it needed 400). Because of that (even when I specified the console txt installation), the rest of the installation seemed gimped.
The install used very little of disc 2, nothing from disc 3 and practically nothing from disc 4. When I finally finished the installs, I find that there is no man command or tcsh shell on the system. I downloaded the source for tcsh and attempted the ./configure only to find out that I have no assembler (as).
Where can I obtain either installable downloads for man and as? Was there supposed to be a companion or utility CD that was not in the 4 disc download?

I downloaded the current version (Solaris 10 - x86 Platform - Solaris 10 1/06 Operating System) and selected full installation.
The commands are not in the directories. I looked on a SPARC 10 install to find the correct locations and could not find them on the x86 install using:
ls -l /bin/tcshNor were they anywhere on the system using:
find / -name tcsh -print I just read the post before mine about the missing man command and will try using pkgadd from the various CDs.

Where can I find the plugins folder when I have opened PSE13? I miss it in this version! If so why did Adobe removed it? Then this version has no use to me.

I just purchased PSE13 and after installing I noticed that I can't find my plugins while I could easily open it in my PSE11. Why did Adobe removed it??? If so I think I will install PSE11 again.
Kind-a weird that this version doesn't have a plugin-use anymore.

I have Windows 7 Professional X86 and I also noticed that PSE13 was installed in my 'normal' program files folder instead of the X86 program files folder. PSE11 used the X86 programfiles folder. I dunno why though!

Itunes artwork tab missing for movies in version 11.1.3.8

For some reason recently I am noticing the artwork tab missing when I import in a movie into my itunes directory. This just started happening and the movie formats are exactly the same as ones which have the artwork tab available. These are all MPEG-4 Video Files at 124 kbps. Typical iTunes 'anomoly' but on this one I am baffled. Anyone have a clue as to how to fix this? I even tried completely removing the movie from the itunes file directory and then reimporting into iTunes but same issue.

You can access the apps by clicking the iPad thingy on top right of the screen (when the iPad is connected) and then select Apps and scroll down to file sharing apps...

Why is dataacq.h missing from my installed version of CVI 5.5?

I need the header file dataacq.h for some applications that I am using. I know the file is present on other versions of CVI 5.5 and want to know why the file was not installed (using standard install) on my system (Windows 98)

please take care of the difference between "DAQmx" and "Traditional DAQ": they are completely different products with no interaction between them. The supporting files also are different.
Since you are looking for "dataacq.h", you absolutely need to install traditional daq: installing DAQmx will not solve any of your problems. BTW, traditional daq is in version 7.4.4 and wont' be updated anymore. It can be downloaded from here, but should be also included in NI-DAQ driver disks and is surely included in Developer Suite distributions.
Second item: the presence of LabVIEW again has no influence on CVI development environment. A problem may arise if in the same machine a newer CVI is already installed, in which case a new install of traditional daq will not update CVI6 environment.
At this moment, I can see several scenarios: please let us know which is your exact situation so that we can address it in the proper way.
Scenario 1
LabVIEW installed. No other CVI installed apart your CVI6
In this case simply installing Traditional DAQ will solve your problems: during installation be sure to install CVI support (the setup program whould correctly identify your CVI6IDE)
Scenario 2
LabVIEW installed. A newer CVI installed together with CVI6 IDE.
In this case you should install Traditionl DAQ (which will install support fro the newer IDE) and then copy DAQ files to CVI6 environment. The copy will imply several files, not only dataacq.h.
Let me know if this is your case and I will list you all the files to copy.

Missing iPid Icon/iTunes Version 7.01 Problems

Ever since downloding iTunes version 7.01 I've been unable to transfer any songs to my iPod Mini. Also the iPod icon is no longer on my PC. I badly need help as I've gone through all the tips and recommendations given by Apple and STILL nothing can be transferred to my iPod
iPod Nano 6GB Windows XP

I was able to fix my problem by going into add and delete programs. Select itunes and there will be an area "click here for support infomation" Check and run repair. Do this for both Itunes and Quick Time, but do Quick time first. After I did that itunes came right up and started to run. Good Luck!!
