Missing links to multiple songs, looking for shortcut to delete all

i lost over half of my library doing some HDD cleaning. itunes then showed most of my songs were unlinked, because of the deleting. i found the backed up songs on an external drive and imported them into itunes. now i have doubles of nearly every song in my 40GB library.
so my question is this; is there a shortcut to deleting all 'broken-link' songs from your library at once?
i have tried using the 'show duplicates' and using apple-select on the broken songs, but an hour into doing that and i am just trough the b's. i need a shortcut to deleting all of the songs with missing links.

along the same lines...I have 2 external drives where I have stored music. In trying to consolidate, I copied all music from my F drive to my G drive and also made the G drive the default location for my iTunes library. However when I disconnect the F drive the songs that were originally recognized in my F drive show the dreaded '!' exclamation point; clicking on the song returns the error message "The song "xxxxxx" could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?" I then have the option of going through the G drive and manually finding the song in order to link it to the songs in my library. Other than doing this manually for the thousands of songs iTunes can't find, is there an easier way to point iTunes to my G drive have it recognize all songs on the drive and forget about the original files located on my F drive?

From the backup you maintain in case something drastic happens to your collection as it surely will when your drive crashes, the computer is stolen, etc.?
Are the files in the trash? I don't let iTunes manage my music so when I delete a track I have to hunt down the file, drag it to the trash, and empty the trash in order to get rid of it. I don't know how iTunes does it for others.

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.

Looking for ideas: mass-delete qualified links

I'm looking for an innovative idea on how to mass-delete qualified links. I want to delete all the qualified links to a specific non-qualifier from many records at once. Idealy the scenario would be to search on a specific qualifier, and be able to select all records and delete that qualified value from them. Data Manager can't do this, obviously.
The closest I managed to get was to delete all the values in the qualified link using an import, but that's not enough, I need to delete the links completely.
Before I turn to the APIs, anyone has an idea?

You should be able to accomplish this with an export and import.
1. Select the qualified record you want to delete using the search parameters
2. Export out the records with this qualified field - it should only export out the qualified record that you have selected in your search parameter
3. Import this file with the Import Manager
4. Map the qualified table name in the source to the destination
5. Right click on the destination field name and select "Select Qualified Update > Update"
6. A new dialog box will appear
7. For new links select "Skip"
8. For existing links scroll down and select "Delete"
9. When the file imports it should delete all instances of that qualified record

Looking for Suggestions on granting all users access to an application *except a subset of users*

This might not be the right forum for this question, but since it is related to an App-V application I figured I would try since this may have come up for some of you. I am looking for the best way to grant all Domain Users access to an application
except for Domain Admins. Using the Full App-V infrastructure, I want to grant access to the App-V UI via User Targeting, but I don't want to allow Domain Admins access. The reason for this is because when we make updates to provisioned
server cores (stateless), we login with our Admin accounts to make modifications to the cores, and I would like to reduce the steps that need to be taken at the end to ensure that all AppV applications are removed before sealing up the core.
Currently, Domain Admins do not have access to any App-V applications, so this process is fairly clean. All applications are User Targeted.
Packages are cached on a persistent D drive on each server, so the issue is that the registry, programdata, and packageinstallationroot become out of sync if packages are pulled down during core modifications after the core is attached to other servers (hence
other D drives). Because of this, Machine Targeting is not an option for this either.

This would be so much easier with a "Configuration Manager" like feature where you could create a collection query to accomplish the same thing. Are there other tools out there that will do the same thing?

I am unable to send mail on my IPad because the iPad ignores the single correctly configures outgoing server and instead looks for long since deleted outgoing server which is not listed in my settings at all.

Some time ago I used to use an outgoing mail server, which I will call 'XYZ'. However I changed email providers and now have a new outgoing server which I will call 'ABC'. I tried deleting that old outgoing server when I changed email providers but had problems doing so. So what I did was completely delete all email accounts from my iPad and then reinstalled the two new email accounts from scratch, complete with the new outgoing server 'ABC'. That appeared to be successful, and I can receive email OK. Also the new server 'ABC' is the ONLY outgoing server listed in my settings on either account
However despite the new server being the only one in my settings the iPad will not send mail and shows an error message saying that the settings for the OLD server 'XYZ' are incorrect. I cannot amend or delete that server as it has already been deleted and is not listed in my settings.
It is like the iPad is somehow still remembering that old server and thinks it's the primary one. Or it's getting old server info fron iCloud or something.
My iPhone has the same two email accounts and identical settings and does not have this issue.
Any ideas, other than a complete factory reset?

I deleted a song from iTunes and it deleted all the music from the artist?

I was deleting a duplicate song from an album of an artist that I have a lot of music from and somehow iTunes deleted all the music from that artist. It's not supposed to do that especially when you're only deleting one song. Has anyone had this happen? It wasn't music that I bought from the iTunes store it was off cds.

Looking for an app that all (former) Blackberry uses miss

Anybody found a iPhone compatible substitute for Beyond411 (used to be called Berry411). Obviously, there are the usual online directories... whowhere.com, whitepages.com, Yahoo people search, etc., but I want something as easy to use as Berry411 (something where I can store my locations so that there's less data entry).
For those of you who haven't ever used it, it is the best Blackberry app there is. It's basically a frontend for Google searches for directory information. There are plugins for all kinds of other local information.
I'm especially in need of "white pages" (residential) listings.
I LOVE my iPhone, but I really, really miss Beyond411.

If you're going to continue using the Blackberry, you NEED to get a copy of Beyond411. It's SO much more than directory assistance. I had plugins for movies, real-time flight tracking, weather, and several more.
I did find AddFone.com, which is a search engine that lists over 250 current apps for iPhone. Through that, I found an infospace implementation that does a lot of what I want. Worth a look!

Cs4 extended looking for shortcuts video layers

So, let's say I have downloaded a QT video, when I import the video (less than 500 frames) and convert to video to layers I would then take a bunch of the layers and make them a group. Okay, here's where I need the help, I would like to take this group convert them all to a group of same color channels, after which I would like to take the group all to the same % gausian/lens blur. My problem is doing them one at a time is so time consuming. I would really appreciate any shortcuts.

I'M LAZY, looking for shortcut for Filters/Groups

We're migrating from Win2000 to AIX. All the users and securties will be the same. Is there anyway I can copy the users, groups and filters from Win2000 to the AIX, v. 6.5.3, without having to do it manually? Any software or file that can be transfered. Hyperion says they don't support such a thing.Javan

I used the tool on olapunderground for my migration from 5.0.2 to 6.5.1 and it worked well as a straight transfer program. It's sort of a mixed bag to use to administer security, but the transfer tool is fairly straightforward.

Looking for RFC to delete Archivelink record

Hi All,
Can somebody point me to the RFC-enabled function which deletes a document archived via Archivelink? The task is similar to one implemented in ARCHIV_DELETE_META or ALINK_DELETE, but those functions are not remote-enabled.
Unfortunately, writing a custom wrapper is not an option in our case.
Any help is appreciated.

Looking for a list of all PeopleSoft Modules

We would like to create a service catalog for our organization. We would list all the modules in Peoplesoft broken down by application with a description of each module. We would then show which modules we are currently using and what could be available if needed.
I would like to hope that this exists somewhere at Oracle. If it doesn't maybe I should sell it to them.
I can pull the list of modules by application from the global price list. I would need to add the description.

Hey! I've been trying to find my purchase date so I can download Mountain Lion. I've been using my serial code, but the closest thing I get to a purchase date is "Mid 2012". I need to be more specific in order to fill out the request for the free upgrade.

Are there shortcuts to delete all email on Ipad? the shortcuts shown on utube do not work.

The delete method show for ipad works well if you don't have a lot of messages to delete. I have seen a utube video that shows how to delete the whole list of emails but does not work on my ipad 4. Having to select each message when you have hundreds to delete is a bummer.

I don't know what video you've seen, but to delete multiple messages, you click the Edit button, then click each message to add a check mark to it, then click the Delete button.
However, it's almost always much easier to delete multiple emails from a computer or from webmail. Who is your mail provider, and do you have webmail access to your account?
