Missing Livefonts, Textures and Objects

Hey guys
I urgently need some help with Livetype 2.1.4.
Recently I bought Final Cut Express 4 with comes with the Livetype application for my Macbook Pro. I installed the whole thing and Final Cut Express works fine but for some reason none of the Livefonts, Textures or Objects are installed in Livetype I can preview all of them but can not use them on the timeline.
Does anyone have any idea as to what is going on???
Any help would be much appreciated

Live Type textures and Objects not working

Everything had been working. Moved to a new home...so I had to take editing suite apart. Now when I open LiveType there seems to be a red render bar...and when i try to apply textures and objects to a new track...you see it in the canvas as a small black line. And you get nothing if you try to render the movie. though the font seems to be working

To nutshell it, use an app called "Pacifist" to revert your ProApps to 4.0 from 4.5 and Quicktime from 7.4 back to 7.3. You can find links to all that in the other discussion. I found my liveType dead this morning and the culprit appears to be the combination of the ProApp update and the Quicktime update. I used Pacifist to revert and it was simple and fairly painless. Install Pacifist, drop the "old" update's .pkg onto the Pacifist icon in your Application folder and rock on.

My LiveType have no textures and objects! Please help me! Thank you!

I just bought my Mac OS X 10.5.4 Leopard not long ago. And today is my first time using LiveType on my laptop. I've learn how to use LiveType in school before, but i just found out that my LiveType have no textures and objects. Can anyone tell me how to get it and get it more ? Where to get it for free ?

If you have Final Cut Studio, there are two extra disks labelled "Live Type Media".
If you have Final Cut Express, Look on your Installer disk, the media files should be on there.

Textures and Objects

How do i install Lvt 2 textures and objects, i dont have any preview of them in the media browser. Can i install it from the LiveType Data 2 of LVT 1 ?

Not sure? I installe FC Express 3.5. Do I need to install them separate? To be honest I forgot I had Livetype till I saw some video on u-tube,and I really like what I see. I have already used a tiltle in I Movie,but the textures and objects would make it better. Thx for your reply

In past versions of FireFox there was a view option that allowed a change in size of fonts and objects on the screen temporarily on the fly. This seems to be missing from version 6.

You can use "Ctrl +" and "Ctrl -" to zoom pages quickly and "Ctr 0" (zero) to reset the page zoom.

There are also page zoom buttons in the toolbar palette in the Customize window that you can drag on a toolbar.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"

HELP!! Deploying with DC, missing type java.lang.Object

Hi Folks,
I have a WebDynpro project created with a DC. I have been deploying the project directly from the application node, but I just built the associated DC for the first time, and now I get errors in my source code that I have the missing type java.lang.Object.
I have tried the repair-->project structure and classpath option already. Looks like some basic links are broken.
This is hopefully simple, but I have no Idea what I need to do.

I also have a screenshot of the Livetype canvas with a previously saved project that had a texture in the timeline, but now it only shows artifacting. As you can see below. What's going on??

Blackmagic is not mentioned in the OP. Weird hardware often expresses itself in weird artifacts. These are rarelyr the fault of the apple application, it's the hardware mfr that has failed (maybe because Apple has failed to get them the tools) to update their systems and make the updates available ot their users and for the suers to install them.

effects. But when i searched for ready-effects there is no an
add-on for this. But Adobe must have done this until now. Why there
aren't lot of ready-made effects in Flash?

After updating to the latest version of Firefox on my Mac there is no progress bar for the page load. I really miss this feature and can't seem to find a way to obtain it.

The page load progress bar that was on the lower right of the window is no longer there. After updating to the latest version of Firefox on my Mac there is no progress bar for the page load. I really miss this feature and can't seem to find a way to obtain it. The tab has a circular progress wheel but this is useless for determining a stuck or slow loading page.
PLEASE NOTE: I am typing this in from a Windows based work computer but am asking about my Apple MacBook Pro that i use at home.

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session. 
You can use "Firefox > History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time. 
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default about:home Home page. 
Another possibility is to use:

I recently got a new computer and I Back-Up all my music and itunes playlist and I import it on my new computer with the new itunes and I go to play a few songs, it says I'm missing them I locate a few but it's still like 3,000 missing and again they are all on the computer and in one folder..Please Help !

I did that and nothing changed half my songs still have examination marks beside them
I also just tried dragging my folder of music int he playlist and it duplicated all of my songs? My playlist was at 5k now it's at 10k becuz of 3 duplicates of songs. Is there a way to delete multiple duplicate files?

Communication between javascript and Objective-c in iOS.

We wanted to have a communication between javascript and objective c code. We have already tried the below approach.
To load fake URLs in JS and append a string which will be used as parameter to the Objective-C code and parse that URL in this delegate method:
-(BOOL)webView(UIWebView *)webView shouldStartLoadWithRequest(NSURLRequest *)request navigationType(UIWebViewNavigationType)navigationType
Then send the return value by calling the native method stringByEvaluatingJavaScriptFromString again with parameter callID.
But we wanted to access Objective class object in Javascript code so that we can call it's methods from javascript code using this object.Android supports this behaviour using addJavaScriptInterface method in webview. Is it possible to have the similar approach in IOS? If not what is the best approach possible to acheive this? If we could achieve similar behaviour then we don't need to change the Jacascript code and will be reused. Please suggest the best possible solution.

All the instructions on synching start with "find your device in the device window". But what if you have no device window?

Missing "message" from above: The iPad "DGMTR" is synced with another iTunes library on DGMTR's MacBook Pro. Do you want to erase this iPad and sync with this iTunes library? An iPad can be synched with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iTunes library.
I thought the libraries were the same.

BB OS 6, What I think is missing so far and would like back...

So I updated my Pearl 3G recently and have been noticing some things missing, some small and some a bit larger. Now, I am not too sure where to go to let someone know so I've decided to make a list hoping the right people see this...
(in my opinion)
Minor:
-Calendar doesn't show my alarms on the month view like OS 5 (I like seeing which days have alarms). The visuals seem lacking when showing whats up that day (month view)
-As someone mentioned in an earlier post, the quick button to switch sound profiles doesn't work (instead it gives a "assign a speed dial...")
-When quickly going to my 5th option on my app bar, it all too easily switches to the next folder (annoys me...) Turning down sensitivity seems to have worked...
-There is no menu option to "See all songs" in the media player (browsing songs in the "Now Playing" are A LOT harder because of this since it doesn't show the titles fast enough...)
-When looking through songs in "Now Playing" in the media player, I personally wouldn't mind having what current song number also with the "X Ahead"...
-A small annoyance for me is when I plug it in, now there is an extra step to connect USB. I usually press the Back button for "Charge only" and put the password in for "USB Drive". I don't know if it annoys anyone else...
-The browser now has an address bar. In my opinion it takes up screen real-estate (maybe have an arrow so if you navigate your mouse up above it, it pops down?)
-Picture viewer had a "Zoom 1:1". I know I used that ALL THE TIME...
Major:
-The media buttons do not work globally anymore. They only work when I am in the media player (MAJOR takeaway for media player capabilities) It seems like they work for me now. Just needed another battery pull...
Wishlist: (I know its past Christmas, but why not )

System and Object privileges question

hello everyone.
I was really making it a priority to really understand both system and object privileges for users. I have setup a couple of 'sandboxes' at home and have done lots of testing. So far, it has gone very well in helping me understand all the security involved with Oralce (which, IMHO, is flat out awesome!).
Anyway, a couple of quick questions.
As a normal user, what view can I use to see what permissions I have in general? what about permissions on other schemas?
I know I can do a:
select * from session_privs
which lists my session privileges.
What other views (are they views/data dictionary?) that I can use to see what I have? Since this is a normal user, they don't have access to any of the DBA_ views.
I'll start here for now, but being able to see everything this user has, would be fantastic.

Sorry. should have elaborated more.
In SQLPLUS, (logged in while logged into my Linux OS), I am working to try and get sqlplus to display the results of my query so it is easy to read. Right now, it just displays using the first 1/4 or 1/3 of the monitor screen to the left. Make sense? So it does not stretch the results out to utilize the full screen. it is hard to break down and read the results because they are "stacked" on top of each other.
Would be nice if I could adjust sqlplus so the results are easier to read.
