Missing mail accounts in Mail

I have just migrated to a new computer from my old one and when I go in to mail I have none of my inboxes showing. I have all my accounts shown in system preferences, internet accounts but they fail to show up in my mail app. This is rather frustrating. Can some one please help?

If it is checked, uncheck and check it again, Close out Mail and Re Open it
If issue persists Go to Finder> Select "Go" in the Menu Bar at the top of the Computer Screen> Hold "Option" Key select Hidden Library under Home Icon> Go to Mail Folder> Go into V2 Folder> Go into MailData> Move Accounts.plist to Desktop> Restart Computer
If issue is solved move Accounts.plist to Trash> Empty Trash

The mbox filing structure used with Tiger Mail is significantly different than the mbox filing structure used with previous Mail.app versions under Jaguar and Panther.
Tiger Mail stores each message contained in a mailbox as a separate file in .emix format located within the Messages folder for the mailbox. Although you can import Jaguar and Panther mailboxes to Tiger, the mbox format used with Tiger Mail is not backwards compatible or interchangeable with Jaguar or Panther Mail without taking an additional step first. The reason you are seeing the old messages available before and up until the time you upgraded to Tiger is because you didn't delete the left over content package files used by Panther Mail and one of these files contains all messages messages and message attachments which are not automatically deleted after the conversion process to the mbox format used with Tiger Mail is completed.
Using the Finder, go to Home > Library > Mail > this POP account named folder (named by the user name and incoming mail server for the account). Within the account named folder is there an INBOX.mbox file and/or an INBOX.mbox named folder and the same for the other mailboxes (mboxes) within the account named folder?
Tiger Mail.app mboxes at the Finder level are folders and each folder contains a Messages folder which stores each message contained in the mailbox as a separate file in .emix format.
Jaguar and Panther Mail.app mboxes are .mbox files only, not a folder.

Missing mail after restoring mail profile folder

Hello,i had problems with my sent folder and had to restore my profile folder to a 3 day old copy,but after that my inbox is missing mail for 16 days, the mail is extremely important as it contains all my orders and working material and i need a way to recover it. Please help me! Right now there is no previous version of the folder to restore once i open its options,neither on the inbox file, what do i do now?

restored what and how is the first question. If your talking about windows restore I am out of here. That is a Microsoft mess I want nothing to do with.
The only constant I can suggest is right click the folder in Thunderbird, select properties and then the repair button to force a reindex of the mail store.

Exchange 2010 - missing mails moved by rules / strange problem

Hello,
one of our users has a pretty strange problem.
First of all, he has 12 rules (11 server-sided plus default for removing categories) and a HUGE folder-tree for about 1.5 years.
His tree looks like:
Inbox
-A
--1
--2
---a
---b
--3 Newsletter

--3 Newsletter

...and so on for 192 folders
Other Stuff

... and so on for 80 folders
Since this week, he complains about missing mails.
While investigating this problem, everything looks fine at first. Mails are stored to his mailbox successfully.
Later we found out, that he has rules to move incoming mails to his "--3 Newsletter" folders depending on sender (and no further processing) and was looking for exactly those mails.
But the mails were not visible in the target folder and neither in the inbox folder.
Using the search function on inbox, I was not able to find the mails. After checking the box for all subfolders, the mail was found. Hovering the mail I was told, that it is in the target folder - where for sure it wasn't.
Opening the mail from the search result and clicking on [File], "Inbox" was displayed as the current folder.
After re-running the matching rule, the mails were visible in the target folder. This worked for yesterday. New mails were moved successfully.
And today, we have the very same problem again. And again, I can quick-fix it by re-running the rules.
As I can see and "fix" this on his machine and on my admin machine, this can't be any local problem.
Any hints or solutions for that?

Yosemite Upgrade: Missing Internet Accounts/Email Accounts

I have updated Mavericks to Yosemite on my MBP (mid 2013) yesterday, and since then I miss one account in "System Preferences/Internet Accounts" which means I have just 8 instead of my 9 Internet Accounts under Preferences.
The 9th account however does exist in "Mail/Preferences/Accounts" among the others.
Why is this email account not being shown in Preferences/Internet Accounts? And how can I restore/repair/fix it so the number of Internet Accounts equals my total number of setup email accounts?
I am using Time Machine but I was not able to restore my Internet Accounts preferences so far.

I have tried to customize the adjustments accounts and postings keys in the IMG
"Financial accounting > Accounts Receivable and payable >
Business Transactions > Closing >Regrouping > Define adjustments
accounts for changes reconciliation accounts"., but i don't see the part "Regrouping" in the IMG.
I have tried to use the OBBW transaction, but his transaction code "A00-Transfer postings: changed recon. acct" don't correspond to mine (V02);
We are in ECC6.
Can somebody explain to me how can i correct this error please?

This is meant for account determination for Receivables/payables sorting. Check your configuration in SPRO->General Ledger Accounting (New)->Periodic Processing->Reclassify->Transfer and Sort Receivables and Payables->Define Adjustment Accounts for Receivables/Payables by Maturity

Framed IP Attribute missing in Accounting-Start messages from the ISG for the TAL Users. Account-Logon users and Interim updates have the Framed-IP though.
We have the following command already enabled: aaa accounting include auth-profile framed-ip-address aaa accounting delay-start

Upgrade 4.6 to 4.7 Missing GL account error in 4.7 its not with 4.6

We are doing upgradation project 4.6 to 4.7..
Here in staging server while saving sales order we are getting incompletion log Due to missing Gl account ..
Environment Analysi  Account determination kfoi00 missing Gl account for Condition type .
But when we createt the sales order ( with same data)its not not giving the error ..
Here I can see the Difference is in 4.6 condition type has the Account key but no Master record mataine for the Condition then the systemnot looking for the GL account for the Account KEY as mandatory but in the case 4.7 the set of date we are creating the sales order the system looking for the GL account u2026
So could you pls clear this
Its mandatory to have GL account for the Account KEY even the Condition type does not have master reocrd.?
Or we have to apply any SAP notes ?

Ken,
kenak99709 is the Alias of the Discussions account that you are currently posting with.
If you had to have created a new account, you would not have been able to choose that Alias, as Discussions will only allow one member to have a unique Alias.
Either I am not understanding your dilemma, or possibly you have not explained the situation in full.

'Missing consumption account determination' Error -Automatic PR

Hi Colleagues
I hope someone can shed some light on this issue for me.
I have configured a specific process for auto PR, i.e. when we create a SO and enter the item qty, a "create purchase requisition" appears (ME51).
I always get an error message re.: missing consumption account determination. I have checked the settings in OBYC and everything looks allright.
In the transaction ME51 itself, the same error occurs but a pop up screen appears with the option of entering a G/L account. However, while creating the SO it does not behave in the same way.

I'm missing mail in my Inbox from my .live account in Apple Mail. I'm using mbox with my hotmail account. If that made any sense?!

I'm all of a sudden missing old mail in my inbox labeled .live - I used mBox to set up my hotmail account with Apple Mail. It's not in the trash nor on my hotmail account online anymore. Hmmmm??? I already tried to rebuild and my mbox folder in the library seems fine. Anyone?? I only have about a month's worth of mail which made me think I had mistakenly selected some 'time frame' for keeping inbox messages but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Try re-indexing the mailboxes. This can take awhile if you have a lot of mail.

Missing Email Accounts in ~/Library/Mail

I just got my iPhone an tried to sync with my Mail accounts but only a very old POP mail account (no longer in use) showed up on my iPhone. I checked on my computer and none of my current POP email accounts from Mail show up in ~/Library/Mail folder. Yet all my email accounts are working fine. I've done a Finder search for my current email accounts and weirdly they don't show up anywhere else. I checked in the Hard Drive and in my Home Folder. Can anyone suggest a way to get my email accounts to show up in ~/Library/Mail so I can sync to my iPhone without doing it manually? Thanks!

If you're not using IMAP, Mail is still communicating with the mail server, so even if you see those types of messages, nothing abnormal is going on. There's no such thing as invisible email, so if there were really anything being sent or downloaded, you'd see it.

This suggests some event, such as using up all the free space temporarily (such as a video app might do), closing the lid on a laptop before the Mail has finished it housekeeping task, or before its screen goes dark. A sudden power loss to desktop computer can cause this, as well.
In each of these scenarios the preference file is over written or not refreshed as administrative tasks did not complete, and the account setup info is lost. If the account folder remain on the hard drive, as is usually the case, and if you re-enter the account setup info, and decline if prompted to Import anything, Mail will normally rediscover the existing account folders.
If the user has a MobileMe account, that is setup via the info in System Preferences.

Missing Exchange account in mail sync options

Hi,
I just upgraded to Snow Leopard, so I could access my Exchange accounts on my MacBook and iPhone 3G. I have successfully synced Mail w/Exchange. I can access my work mail, calendars, and notes on my MacBook. However, the Exchange mail account will not sync with my iPhone. It doesn't even show up in the list of mail accounts to sync in iTunes. Oddly enough, the calendar, notes, and contacts do sync and do appear in the syncing options. The only problem is actual mail account.
iPhone OS 3.1.3

If your Exchange account is not available below email accounts under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes, you can manually create the account with the iPhone's Mail client. Select Add Account at Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars followed by selecting Microsoft Exchange and follow the prompts.
When syncing contacts and calendar events over the air with an Exchange account or with a MobileMe account on an iPhone, you can also sync contacts and calendar events direct with a supported application on your computer via the iTunes sync process, but in this case the contacts and calendar events will be duplicated on your iPhone when doing so.
