Missing manual bar and all the buttons on safari
For some reason, some of my manual bar missing on the left side, and the buttons of Safari are all missing the writings, and all the simple in the finder side bar are missing!!!!
Start up in Safe Mode.

When I attempt to use Firefox, the address bar and all the command & tool bars disappear from view as soon as I start the program. I can see the scrolling our of view at the top of my screen. This leaves me with no way to enter a web address, navigate or even exit the program.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).<br />
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.<br />
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11. -

My iphone screen is black and all the buttons are not working
The screen of my iPhone 4 suddenly went irresponsive and within a few seconds it went completely black. I tried to power it off and also tried the home button but nothing seems to be responding.
Incoming calls still ring out but I am not able to answer the calls and cannot see anything on the screen.
I connected it to my laptop, the iphone appears on "my computer" and I was able to see pictures and videos that are on the phone, however iTunes cannot detect the devise.
Any help please?

I clicked all the buttons in the file sharing window and now my iMac will not turn on.
I really goofed. I clicked all the buttons in the file sharing window (Screen sharing;File Sharing...Remote Login; Remote Management...Internet sharing) but I did not write down the IP address and now the computer will not turn on at all. Is there a way to roll back my stupidity and get this thing to turn on again?
There's only one thing you can do: make an appointment with Apple genius at the Apple retail store for a out of warranty replacement.

I have a macbook pro with OSX Mavericks 10.9.5 and some keys randomly are not working. Specifically, the enter/return button, the "p", "0", ";", and all the function keys. What's really weird is that happens randomly. I've never spilled anything on it, and I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix this. Can anyone help? of course this happened after my warranty expired.

I don't know if this will help someone but I am posting this for that purpose. In the past when I first had this problem, I'd read a post somewhere (sorry, long ago, don't have the link) where an individual was having the same problem and they stated that when the MBP got heated, that's when the keys would stop working, and they went into the MBP and jiggle some stuff around (a specific wire, I'm not electronically inclined so I know NOT of what they spake!). Well I didn't want to do that but it always stuck in the back of my mind. I had given up, really, and was planning to take my MBP to the apple store. But by chance one night I left my MBP on the floor where it's cool, and when I turned it on, the problem went - poof! It seems there was some validity to the post that spoke about heat, because my problems started when I would stream foreign dramas on my MBP for hours at night, and I would hear the fan going off all the time, and in the mornings, my "p", "enter", "0", ";", and all the function keys would stop working.
So, maybe try keeping the MBP in a cool place when it's off. Since I've started doing this overnight every night (keeping it on the cool floor, out of reach of any big feet), I have not had a single problem with my keyboard.
Hopefully this might help someone. -
My laptops QWERTY row of keys does not work for long periods at random intervals and only after pushing all the buttons on the row does it eventually turn back on and then will still cut out every now and again, anyone know how to solve this? If not is there any way to actually get a genuis appointment lol to get one of them to have a look at the hardware on the keyboard?

My bookmark glasses icon is missing as well as the bookmark icon from preference pane. There is no + sign to add to the reading list. The reading list is still there although completely grey colour and all the pages have the same blue icon. Can anyone advise how to fix this problem? Mac os x 10.7.5 Safari 6.1.

Hi all, Since I updated to Mavericks I am having trouble with Safari showing all the buttons/clickable options, but they are gray and will not work. Specifically, the Trash Can/Delete and the "Move to" folder button simply do not work. Any ideas?

We just did the iPhone update ios 6. The screen is frozen with the iTunes logo and a picture of a USB cale across the screen. none of the buttons respond.The phone does not recognize the apple USB when connected. We tried holding all the buttons down at the same time and also removed the SIM card and reinserted.
If it's not being recognized while it's in recovery mode in your itunes, try this
plug the phone into the usb attached to the computer
hold down the home and sleep/wake button on top simultaneously until the phone's screen goes black
When the screen goes black, release your finger from the sleep/week button on top but continue holding the home button until you see a dialog on the itunes screen on your computer that says 'itunes has detected a device in recovery mode'
then say 'ok,' select 'restore,' and say 'restore and update' -

My blackberry got ink at the top of the phone so I got a lightly wet tissue and cleaned the top part of the phone after I finished cleaning it, I recognised the keyboard stopped working. The touch screen still works but the physical keyboard and all other buttons have stopped working. Please help me, I really ened that phone for emergency uses, etc. I do not want to restore my phone so do not suggest that solution.
UPDATE: Right now I have my phone inside a bowl of uncooked rice.
UPDATE 2: 30 minutes later, I took the phone and rebooted it the keyboard still does NOT work but the trackpad can move up and down but when pressing it does nothing.

Also, prepare yourself for the worst...the only thing that is predictable about moisture intrusion into a BB is that the results will be unpredictable. Since you have already re-applied power to the BB too soon, it is much more likely that you have totally fried something inside.

I just downloaded iTunes on my new PC and all the music that I have purchased through ITunes that was backed up on the cloud won't play. It is telling me I must authorize this computer before it can play pre purchased music. how do I authorize my computer to play this music?

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:
