Missing Materials numbers

Hi Friends,
My material document, material numbers are miising. If the document created is 1.Then next document will be 11.The same is happening for Materials.Some of my friends have suggested that make buffer "0" for that particular number range object in SNRO. So can anybody explain, what are the objects for Material Documents and MAterial Master Data?

How is it a security breach? You're free to turn off lock screen notifications for the phone app so that no one can do that.... even if they can, they can only call the number that called you... nothing else. (well, except for 900 or whatever the emergency services number is where you are, but that's required by law).

I am working on an OLAP date cube with the following schema:
As you can see there is a fact transaction with two dimensions called cardNumber and Sequence. Card dimension contains about three million card numbers.
Sequence dimension contains a sequence number from 0 to 255. Fact transaction contains about 400 million transactions of those cards.
Each transaction has a sequence number in 0 to 255 ranges. If sequence number of transactions of a card reaches to 255 the next transaction would get 0 as a sequence number.
For example if a card has 1000 transactions then sequence numbers are as follows;
Transaction 1 to transaction 256 with sequences from 0 to 255
Transaction 257 to transaction 512 with sequences from 0 to 255
Transaction 513 to transaction 768 with sequences from 0 to 255
Transaction 769 to transaction 1000 with sequences from 0 to 231
The problem is that:
Sometimes there are several missed transactions. For example instead of sequence from 0 to 255, sequences are from 0 to 150 and then from 160 to 255. Here 10 transactions have been missed.
How can I find all missed transactions of all cards with a MDX QUERY?

I need to find missed numbers, In this scenario I want the query to tell the missed numbers are: 151,152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159
Relative transactions are also missed, so I think it is impossible to get them by your MDX query

As you can see the sequence number of the last transaction at the 20140701 is 150
We expecting that the first transaction of the next day should be 151 but it is 160. Those 10 transactions are totally missed and we just need to

Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.

Word 2007 doc to PDF missing bookmark numbers

Hi,
I am using Acrobat 9 Pro to convert a Word 2007 doc to PDF. The doc converts fine and I get the bookmarks.
The problem though is that the generated bookmarks are missing their numbers.
For example:
In Word 2007, it will look like:
1 Overview
1.1 Introduction
In Acrobat 9 Pro generated PDF, it looks like:
Overview
Introduction
I looked through the forums and other people have posted similar questions but no resolution was seen.
Can somebody please help out?
I talked to Adobe tech support and they were no help.

Here is an update to this issue.
First of all I agree with Nick that this *is* an Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro issue. (Possibly even with older versions).
Anyway below are the steps I followed to get this to work. It is quite a round about way but I'm happy I got it to work.
* Generate the PDF as usual from Word 2007. (Maybe you don't need to generate the bookmarks here because we are going to delete them later anyway).
* Open the newly generated PDF in Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro
* Click on the Bookmarks tab---if you have the Word 2007 generated bookmarks here select them all (Ctrl-A) and delete them :(
* Then click on the "Gears" icon in the Bookmarks tab.
* In the drop down menu select the "New Bookmarks from Structure..."
* Highlight the structures you wish to have for your bookmarks. For example I chose H1, H2, H3 assuming those were Heading1, ...
* Click OK
* The newly generated bookmarks contain section numbers
* Unfortunately this shows up within a bookmark called "Untitled" So I again select all (Ctrl-A)
* Unselect "untitled" and move (drag) everything else to one level above "Untitled"
* Then I delete "Untitled".
Unfortunately this new bookmark is a flat structure---i.e. you cannot collapse it.
Oh well! At least it works.
If any of you can come up with a better solution, please post it here :)

Indexing - Out of Sequence and Missing Page Numbers

I have a 296 page book. This is an on-going project and has been updated many times.
Two new sections have been added to this book. I have marked words for indexing.
My problem is that many of the page numbers are repeated or out-of-sequence.
For example: Intake Manifolds 66, 67, 68, 69, 68, 87, 68, 69, 186, 189, 203
This is one item that is not in the new sections, so this should not have changed.
I also have noticed missing page numbers. I verified a 'Helmets & Accessories' marker on page 248 of the new section, but it doesn't show up in the index at all.
Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? I have searched the net for others having the same issues, but I haven't found many.
IDCS4 on Mac Pro.

We are having the same problem! I'm using ID CS4 6.0.1 on a 1.8 GHz PowerPC G5 running OS X 10.5.6. For example, see below. The * represents a missing page number.

CS3 was finally fixed by an Adobe patch, and as far as indexing big books went, became as solid as a rock. But now they have broken it again!! It is killing us, because we've switched 20 computers to CS4 only and updated all of our files, so we can't go back!
The only thing that seems to work is to find problem files and open the Index palette and click the Update Preview button. THEN you run your index, and sometimes it's fixed. A couple of "bad" files can spoil the whole barrel, but it's impossible to figure out which ones are bad, or even why they're bad. And when you finally fix one problem, by using the Update Preview button or by blowing away index markers and re-doing them, and getting rid of unused topics, the SAME PROBLEM will appear in other places related to other files in your book, that were "good" before!!!

XML file missing in numbers 08

I have recently had to perform an erase and reinstall of snow leopard. On trying to get everything that was working fine before I find that I am now unable to open my numbers documents, this in spite of the fact that I wrote them in numbers 08 and have not updated to numbers 09 since reinstalling snow leopard. What's going on, do I really have to spend £80 just to open existing files with a programme that I already own?

The title tell "XML file missing in numbers '08".
Then you write that you are now unable to open your numbers documents.
At last, you wrote that you have not updated to mumbers 09 since reinstalling snow leopard.
Must I understand that you used numbers 09 before reinstalling snow leopard ?
*If you did, the behaviour may be normal.*
When you opened a numbers '08 document with numbers '09,
*if you saved them* they where changed in Numbers '09 documents which can't be opened by numbrs 08.
The soluce would be to install the iwork '09 trial version,
open your documents with it then
Use 'Save As" which gives you the ability to save them as numbers '08 files.

Missing invoice numbers

Hi All,
We are having a problem in the system. after creating invoice no's 96051557, the system missed three invoice numbers in sequence and direclty gave 96051561.
what could be the reason that the system missed out three invoice no's (96051558,559,560). there is no cancelled documents.

Hi Sachin,
Actually this is a bug in SAP System. Sometimes when you are creating invoices through VF04 (Collective billing), we miss some numbers. We had the same problem and there is an SAP note says, we can't do anything on this.
Surprisingly, there are some invoice numbers missing with one of our clinet, but we can able to see the accounting numbers generated for this. What we done is we cancelled those accounting documents and re created the invoices.

How to find PRPS missed object numbers ?

While checking PRPS object numbers some object numbers are missed in the table.

Hi,
Note the following.
1. If WBS element was deleted by using icon Trash can, it is not possible to see the element in PRPS table. This action deletes elements permanently and hence and not traceable at table level.
2. If WBS element was set to DLFL (deletion flag), we can see delete indicator at table level.
3. You can do small test in your system, change the settings to "display deleted objects", if objects showing with deletion flag means these are available in system but temporarily set to DLFL and can be retrievable back into project structure. For those objects only you can see X indicator at Table level.
In your case some one might have deleted permanents and hence not showing.

Missing page numbers while generating PDF from Framemaker book

FrameMaker 9 book files have the correct master page applied and page numbers appear right. However, when generating PDF, the page numbers including the footer is missing.
I created another book file, yet same issue occurs.
Also, tried generating separate PDF for each chapter, same issue occurs.
I have installed Univers font from ATM, I'm using WIndows XP. The Footer tags are in Univers font. Could that be the reason?
Please advise.

How do I get the page numbers to show up in the Read Mode toolbar.
Mine are missing.
I Googled it for a while and wasn't able to find anything.

Missing bate numbers when printing

I am using Acrobat 10 Pro. When printing a large pdf (1000+ pages) I start getting random missing portions of bate numbers after printing correctly for the first few hundred pages. Windows 7 pc with 4 gig of memory. If I start reprinting at the point where the bate numbers started going missing it prints them correctly for awhile before they again start going missing. All the bate numbers are correct prior to printing? Is there a setting I need to change or something? Thanks.

Hmm, that's interesting. However, since in my case it only seems to be related to this one PDF, could it be that the PDF has an bad embedded copy of the font that my Mac is using to print with, but Windows isn't? I tried looking for any hints as to what fonts may have been used in the PDF and found references to "Arial" and "Times New Roman", both of which appear to be working fine if used in any of document. If you agree that this is probably just a bad embedded font, I will mark this as solved and move on. Thanks!

Images missing in numbers while imported from excel

Hey guys, I'm new here.
I am having some problem with the mentioned issue, some images went missing when I import the excel file to numbers. It's an excel (.xls) file with my stock list, a lot of small images (JPG) and the whole file size is 6MB. The missing images is also in JPG and the size is almost the same as others. Can anyone help me on this? Thank you very much!

Send a copy option missing from Numbers update

Updated Numbers a few weeks ago to the newest version. Under the Share menu, the option to "Send a copy via email" is missing. The only options are "Share via iCloud" and "Share Settings", which only allows me to toggle on/off the iCloud sharing feature. Any ideas if this is a bug or am I missing something?

A stab in the dark...but my guess now is that this is not a Numbers problem but something to do with sharing on your machine.
Though about Safari and not Numbers you may be able to find something applicable in this thread.
Or this thread.
One test you might do is sign in as another user on your Mac and see if sharing from Numbers works on that account.

Best way to look for missing sequencial numbers in infocube?

I'm looking for some ideas on the best way to do the following:
The characteristic transaction number is in a cube by day, store, and register. I need to ensure there isn't a missing transaction number across days...
Example:
5/16        Store: 5     Register: 1       Txn: 12345
5/16        Store: 5     Register: 1       Txn: 12346
5/17        Store: 5     Register: 1       Txn: 12348
(So in the example above txn 12347 is missing.)
We are talking about 300,000 transactions per day
First Idea:
I was thinking about using an infopackage to extract the 2 days from the cube(600,000 records) and I could use ABAP in the start routine to figure out if there is a missing txn. Would that work? I vaguely remember something about a start routine only having access to a package, not the whole dataset.
Second Idea:
Is there a way to have a query get the last txn # from previous day and the first txn # from the current day? Then I could use a workbook with VBA to figure out the missing txns.

Not sure if the following method is the most intelligent, but worth a try if you have no better way...
1) Create a query with required variables (like Register, Calendar Day etc) placed in the free characteristics and the Txn Number placed in the rows. If the Txn number is a characteristic, from the properties, choose SORT ASCENDING. Else you can use listcube t-code and sort the output in the ascending order, then save the list as a local file (excel sheet) onto the desktop.
2) Create a separate Excel file with the transaction numbers in ascending order (assuming that you know the txn number range for those days in the period of interest). This is very easy to do in Excel especially since they will be in order (type 1 txn and drag it downwards which will increase the number serially).
3) Now that you have two files (first one is the as-is records and the second one ideal records) compare these two files using a software like <a href="http://www.scootersoftware.com/beycomp_062808.exe">Beyond Compare</a>. I have used this software before and found it to be useful.
