Missing Memo Pad Icon

After updating to device software 4.5 I no longer have the Memo icon? Any idea how to get it back?

Let's check first to see if the Memopad application is still installed on the phone. Go into Options | Advanced Options | Applications. If memopad is not listed then it's not installed anymore. To install it, run through the Application Loader again and make sure that memopad has a checkmark next to it. If it is listed in the Applications list it may have gotten moved into another folder. On the home screen check your Applications folder to find Memopad.

Memo Pad Disappeared

Had quite a few issues after upgrading my BB to OS4.5, just when I thought everything is working correctly, the Memo Pad icon disappeared. It is neither hidden nor in any folder, I checked everywhere. The funny thing is, it is still syncing with Lotus Notes, so it's hidden somewhere. Wiped BB clean twice, and it will be back; however, once I installed the third party applications, WorldMate, Google Map, and CallingCardDialer, the Memo Pad disappeared again. I could do a Search and find the memo, but just can't find the icon. Help, anyone?

If the memo pad is there and working properly until you load these 3rd party apps then it's obviously a 3rd party app that is causing this problem.
If you are missing the Email Setup icon then you are missing some service books. Go to Options >Advanced Options >Host Routing Table. Press the menu key and select "Register Now."

Memo pad not opening

I have a 8310 and have loaded the new release. My calendar deleted previous appointments and my memo pad will not open. The memo pad icon is available but will not open. If I use the search application searching for the letter E for the memopad it brings up my 13 entries. I can view/edit these entries. It seems the memo pad application can not find the actual memo entries. Any ideas?

Both of you try a simple reboot of the device: With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Missing tasks, memo pad & documents to gp

I have an unlocked Bold.
Since receiving, I have not seen a tasks, memo pad OR Documents to go icon.
I have checked the applications listing and checked for hidden folders, all to NO AVAIL.
HELP!

You need to download the software for the device according to the carrier vendor ID on the phone.
Once you have that on ur pc, you need to install it to ur device. during this procedure, u will get an application selection in which you will tick tasks, memo etc and it will be installed onto the device.
What is your vendor id first and most importantly of all.
Hold down the alt key and type the letters R A C E, then let go of the alt key. This will bring up the Help Me! screen which lists the Vendor ID, Platform, Application
Version, PIN, IMEI, and other info about the device.
If your issue is resolved, put a checkmark in the green box that contains the resolution.

How do I copy my Blackberry Memo Pad to my Ipad?

Connect your iPad to your Mac. Launch iTunes. Select the iPad under Devices on the left side of the iTunes window in the source list.
Now select the Music tab. Select Sync Music. The entire library or selected playlists etc. Then click the Sync button bottom right side of the iTunes window.
Your iTunes purchases will be available from the iPod icon in the iPad Dock.

Upgraded OS & Lost Memo Pad, Docs to Go, Games, etc.

I had to reload all my software because of a crash caused by Blackberry Protect, and the only way to do it was to upgrade to Desktop Manager 6.0 and Device OS 5.0, but now I've lost a ton of apps, including some important ones like Memo Pad, Tasks, Documents to Go, etc. I've seen solutions for this that say to use the Application Loader in Desktop Manager but this doesn't work for me because these aren't listed in Desktop Manager. They also aren't hidden. Incredibly, they just don't seem to be included in OS 5.0. How can this be? It's bad enough that Blackberry Protect crashed my entire smartphone, but is the solution really to force me to upgrade to a newer OS with fewer apps?

Follow the below steps to add, update, or delete applications on your BlackBerry device -
1. Connect your device to your computer.
2. In the BlackBerry Desktop Software, click Applications.
3. When your device applications are listed, do any of the following:
• To update an application, click the + icon beside the name of the application. (applicable for you)
• To delete an application, click the x icon beside the name of the application.
• To install an application file (.alx) that is saved on your computer, click Import files to browse to it.
4. In the Application Summary pane, review your changes.
5. Click Apply.

Tasks, Calendar, Messages, Contacts, and Memo Pad don't work after pairing (Error 404)

Hi all,
When I pair my Torch to the PlayBook it all goes as expected. I can browse the files on my phone and also open the internet browser; however, when I try to open Tasks, Calendar, Messages, Contacts, and Memo Pad I get:
Error 404 - We can't open the webpage that you requested because it could not be found
Bridge Browser and Bridge Files still work fine though.

Hi Guys!!! Have you already updated your software version to the 1.0.3..1868?
The best thing would be to delete and reinstall the bridge app from your smartphones and download it again,
Maybe the bridge app was corrupted on the first download. So, check if you have the latest software on the playbook and also the latest app version of the bridge on the smartphone.
Even so, it's better if you delete the app from your smartphone and downloaded again. One more tip would be to delete the bluetooth profiles of the smartphone on the playbook using the little pencil icon. Good luck guys! .

8830 World edition memo pad

Just did a rerstore on new 8830 all came over except my memo pad lot of notes! any idea on how to get the memo pad to update on new BB!

Do you have a backp of your old device? If so, you can used Desktop Manager, click on the Backup/Restore icon, then use Advanced to open the backup file and move the memo pad database to the new device.

I accidentally deleted the launch pad icon from the bottom menu bar when I downloaded a game. How can I put it back in?

Go to Finder>Applications and then click on LaunchPad. It then should go to the Dock. The Dock is the row of App icons usually at the bottom of the screen.
Then right click on the LauchPad icon and go to Options and select Keep in Dock

A system restore will not do it, you would have to do a full system
REPAIR.
If you copy Just the keys above and past them into notepad and save them to your desktop as any name you want, just make sure they have a *.reg extension, then double click on them and the keys will be added to your regristry. There are two keys above
so make two *.reg files.

Missing email folder icon on BBT 9800 - Where did it go?
The email icon on my BB Torch 9800 just disappeared. If I type email in the search button it shows me the greyed out email icon but I can't get the icon back on to my homescreen. How do I get my email icon back? And Unhide All is not an option so icant find it.
Please consider the above on urgent basis as I can't see my work mails.

Adobe AIR not available for Asus Memo Pad ME302C?

Any time I try and install AIR on my Asus tablet, I get the error code -24. Is there any way to force install it or do I have to wait for a future update for AIR?

Go to your applications folder, clicki on the Launch pad icon, and drag it to the dock.

Please set up the ePrint feature of your printer. You would start by Getting the Printer Claim Code. Once you have the web services information sheet with your claim code, please follow the instructions in Setting Up a Custom Email Address for ePrint.
Please add the printer to your HP ePrint app by the printer’s ePrint email address. The steps on how to do this can be found in the HP ePrint Mobile App FAQ document, under the question “How do I add a printer to my mobile device?” Doing this should stop the error message that you are seeing.

Many of the tools have multiple choices - simply right-click on an icon or for the brush tool keep pressing the letter B to tab through the choices.
