Missing Message Box after Skin Copy in IC Agent

Hi,
I copied the default skin in a customer z-skin (and added a logo).
Everything works fine, even the company logo is visible.
Now I have the problem that for the role "IC Agent" all the three message boxes have disappeared and that behind the SAP logo, the "Interaction Center" is smaller then before.
Is this a problem in the process of the copy? Or is the mistake somewhere else?

Hi Tim,
We are facing exactly the same issue with our skin. we tried to copy 'NOVA' into a new custom skin and the three message boxes have disappeared.
Also we get a warning on UI when we use this new custom skin saying "Communication management software system is not configured".
Please can you extend help on this one. This is important for us.

We are working on a .net windows service program. In one code path, we will create an oracle oledb connection to an oracle database using ado.net provider over oledb.
We use oracle oledb provider (11g, 64bit) but we found when the path was configured incorrectly, a message box of "OraOLEDBpus11.dll is missing" would pop up. Since it's a windows service, the dialog box can't be seen and thus blocked the whole process.
We would like to know if it is possible to suppress this message box. And how can we suppress it?

Show a message box after the concurrent program completes normal

Hi,
I have a requirement to show a message box with some message once the concurrent program is COMPLETED NORMAL.
Can we do this through form customization or is there any other way??

This will be difficult since concurrent program is running in the background, not from the form. So there's no event where you can capture this concurrent program status, well unless you refresh the view request every time, but that's very a manual way.
The most possible way is to send an email rather than put up a message box.

ITunes requires Safari 4.0.3 message box

I usually got this message box after I open iTunes 10.1.1
"itunes requires Safari 4.0.3 or later to be installed to use the i Tunes store. Within iTunes.
Use de software update and bla bla bla..." And I've opened the software update and I doesn't solve the problem...
Well I got Safari 4.0.3 installed already
I've uninstalled iTunes and installed it again, and the message from iTunes persists.
I've downloaded safari 5.0.3 Snow Leopard, I was trying to install it and a message pops up
saying that I can't install Safari on this machine.
Do got something in mind ?

i'm having the same problem... OS 10.5.6 and iTunes 10.2.2 1) I'm mad that this is happening. Seems really silly ( putting it nicely ). 2) I'm more angry that there are no answers here.. So we upgrade and are now locked out of the iTunes store? I can't use safari 4.0.3 because that requires OS 10.5.7. I can't upgrade to that just yet as I would have to spend $ on updating hardware I'm using that only works with up to OS 10.5.6. Are there yet any answers out there?

BW data load issue in infompack. Missing messages....

while loading data into a big ODS( initial record > 200k) we have seen that the data packet size was around 40k and during load we saw a lot of warnings in the detail status screen with "missing messages".. While we thought that the load is going to fail to our surprise we found that the load was ultimately successful.
What was the reason for this behavior? How to rectify this? By controlling packet size of the info package?
Also when we are updating one ODS from another in the same system( by generating the myself data source etc) where do we mention the packet size ??

Hi Arun,
It's a normal system behaviour when default messages are "missing messages". After messages are received these warnings are replaced by succesful messages.
Packet size on a level of particular load you can in the scheduler, menu option Scheduler/DataS. Default data transfer.

How to cancelling email submission after user clicks "yes/no" button of message box?

could some one tell me, how can i cancelling the submission event after one user clicks "yes/no" button of message box? The scenario is the following:
After data input in a dynamic form clicks the user send mail button. Before the email submit, the user has to decide going back to the form and validate the input or continuing to submit email.
In case of going back to validate input the submission event must not solve. So, how can i implemente it in java and/or form calc script?

The most easy way to solve your problem is to add two buttons, the first should be regular button and the second is submit by e-mail one. Set the
'presence' property of the second to 'hidden' and add to it your email address. To the first button on 'click' event add the script like this

If you're able to boot, launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Missing indexes after system copy

Hi All
we have around 70,000 missing indexes after the system copy
offline export from
source with sun solaris oracle
To
Linux oracle
but these appeared after we Run SGEN , which took 60 hours for a 200 Gb database.
and target system response is also slow , how to go ahead with this issue
we have checked export and import logs , none of the packages were missed
1 Why these missing indexes after SGEN , and why SGEN for 60 hours
2 when we check the Tables which appeared in Missing indexes ,from SE14 it says In Consistency with Data dictionary
3 and the other error , is Index Missing in the database ,
4 but we cant create all these manually.

After sap suggestion , we have done only import again, with 721 R3load same as export.
but still the R3load.exe.log of import shows as done with 720 kernel.

But when we compare the sapinst_dev and AGR logs both from export and import
both are referring the same 721 R3load version ,

still we have same missing indexes issue , after we did the import again.
Are we making any mistakes in export , Any suggestions are welcome

Possible to create a Message Box in response to end-user selecting "cancel" or "block" after clicking a link to a URL?

Hi all:
When an end-user clicks a link/button to connect to a URL, the security dialog automatically appears giving them the options of "Allow," "Block" or "Cancel". Should they select "Block" or "Cancel," can we trigger a message box informing them they blocked or cancelled the connection?
With traditional message boxes, we're causing them, ie

But with the URL security dialog, we're not calling it from a variable - it just happens.
I guess a similar question could be applied to a "Save" button. Where if the end-user selects "cancel" on the "Save As" dialog, a warning could pop-up reminding them to save soon.

Error message: no valid initialization after client copy

Hi,
We recently did a client copy of our quality BW and R/3 systems from preproduction. In the 'new' clients we have problems with the delta process for 2LIS_13_VDITM. We get an error message that there was no valid initialization in the system, where in fact a valid initialization has taken place (everything from preprodcution was copied).
The source systems setting where corrected using BDLS, but the entries in R/3 tables roosprmsf / roosprmsc were still pointing to the old system. This has now been corrected.
One problem remains. There is no entry for 2LIS_13_VDITM in table RSSDLINIT. I suspect that this causes the error message. Can anybody confirm this ? Is there a standard way to add the correct entry (with the package number of the init package) in table RSSDLINIT or realign table RSSDLINIT with table roosprmsf in R/3 ?

Hi,
After system copy. You will ahve delet your whole data and reload every thing.
In case you are getting dump when you double click infopacakge then delete your data source entry in RSA7 in source system and then go for fresh init load and then continue with delta load. Before goign for fresh init load you will have to first delet the init load entry.

Hi Guys,
Am using package model to deploy the software. After installation on client machines i want to display a dialog box to notify the successful installation.
Currently trying VBScript to show the dialog message.
But few machines i get this dialog and few machines am not getting, in program command line am calling a batch script.
Now am planning to use a Power shell scripting to show a message box and trying to call it through a batch script.
Please assist me with the powershell script which will display a message box like above
(and let me know in script how to enable the set-execution policy Remote signed enabled)

You can set the execution settings from within the client settings.
For a simple message box without having to load assmemblies

Missing My Folder after copy catalog

Hi,
We need to migrate repository and webcat from test to prod. After i copied catalog to the specific folder in BI server and uploaded repository, i am able to see the reports under Shared Folder. But all the reports under My Folder are not shown. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

I had a very similar problem: with Catalog manager we archived all catalog, then we tried to restore the catalog to recover some missing analysis.
In Catalog folder, under users folder i can see my files resotred (both file and .atr), but in Answer i loose "My Folders" for each users! i.e. in left panel i see only "Shared Folders".
In OBIPS log i can read:
"Account inconsistent -- no access to home dir- typically this occurs then a user has been deleted..."
But i haven't delete that user.
I tried also to create a new user, but still don't see "My Folders" for the new user.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the name of the crashed application or process. For example, if iTunes crashed, you would enter "iTunes" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ User Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of crash reports. The name of each report starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report related to the process in question. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
☞ If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
☞ Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.
