Missing Objects after the BW 3.0 Upgrade to BI 7.0

Hi all,
we have upgraded our old BW system to NEw BI 7.0.
After the upgrade i noticed that there are some DataSources
80CUSTOMERH
80CUSTOMERM
80CUSTOMERT
Missing in the new Upgraded system.
Also the basis didnt gave tthe system to us for Pre Upgrade tasks after they Copied the Prod System to the QA box. So now how do i find out whether this missing datasources are because of the Upgrade or because of the system copy.
How should be the stragety to retreive them? Do i need to ttransport them frm the DEV again? or is tere any other way ?

Welcome to the  discussion forums.
Try going to synching in the sources menu on your tv and selecting 'change itunes library', when it gives you the passcode check itunes to see if the tv is showing up as a new device, if so try entering the pass code. It may be that your tv is seeing itunes as a different library because of a recent upgrade.

-so do not uninstall the older CC programs if you use plugins in your programs until you are sure you have plugins that work in CC2014

Is there a fix for long "spindle" delays after the 10.6.8 upgrade?

After I downloaded the 10.6.8 upgrade and even the combo pack I get very long delays. Only reverting the system back to 10.6 helps.

After doing a Software Update, AirPort has been having serious connection issues. It cannot find wireless networks where the *Wireless SSID Broadcast is DISABLED*. My iPhone finds the networks perfectly, every time. I am forced to input the network manually every time through "Join Other Network...", even though the network is saved on the Advanced list in Network Preferences.

Everything is pretty much defaulted to the default settings for the router. I have also another Linksys Router that is having the same problems. These used to work before perfectly BEFORE the MacBook 10.5.8 updates...
*Previous Methods in Trying to Resolve Issue:*
-Deleting AirPort connection in Network Preferences and re-adding it
-Deleting the "com.apple.airport.preferences.plist" file in /Library/Preferences/etc.

I lost my user folders after the latest Mac Os upgrade

I noticed the change first trying to use Nikon View NX2 to work on my desktop images. They were no longer accessible. Looking at the folder list both in View NX2 and in the Mac Finder, I could no longer find my user profiles which allow access to all of my pictures as well as my desktop--all my individual folders. This happened right after the latest Mavericks upgrade.

It turned out to be a bug in the release of iTunes 11.2. iTunes 11.2.1 supposedly fixed it.

Missing objects from the report editor...

When some users try to create webi reports, they select their objects for the result and conditions, then they click Edit Reports under the Data tab, Documents - sometimes the objects don't show up? Is that a problem on the Client side or Server side?

I may have solved it from another post....the "sync music" tab wasn't clicked under "Summary/Music". I had recently downloaded a more recent version of iTunes, and it may have defaulted to that....sigh.....

Missing BAdI after the changes to InfoSpoke in BI 7.0

Hi Gurus,
Recently our BW system was upgraded from BW 3.5 to BI 7.0. And it was a Technical Upgrade.
And now we are trying to change one InfoSpoke Selection which has a BAdI defined in the Transformations Tab.
We didnt touch anything on the BAdI it was just the selection change in the Selection tab.
Aftre activating the InfoSpoke when we come back to Tranformation Tab we dont see the Traget Structure and BAdi Implementation name any more.
But when the InfoSpoke was executed, we can see the Transformations step in the monitor screen.
That means even though the BAdI name was not visible in the InfoSpoke definition, transformations was being performed in the
extraction.
But this is not true when the changes(InfoSpoke) were migrated to Quality system.
There BAdI and Target Structure are not visible in the InfoSpoke and no transformation step is being executed in the Extraction.
But both BAdI and Target Structure objects are active in the repository. Only link between the InfoSPoke and BAdI is missing.
This is happening to all the InfoSpokes which are being changed.And this didnt happen before upgrade to BI 7.0.
Can any body share some inputs on how to solve this issue..

Acrobat 9 Standard .ppt/pptx to pdf missing objects after conversion

We have Acrobat 9 Standard fully updated, office 2007 fully updated and patched with the Microsoft pdf converter add-on on XP service pack3
When converting ppt/pptx and doc/docx to pdf some of the pictures and information on the slides are missing. If a completely remove Acrobat and just leave the Microsoft pdf converter on, it is able to convert the files correctly. If I install Acrobat 8 standard it works fine also. The majority of the files that it seems to not be converting and leaving off are .emf and .jpg files. It is not all .emf files just the majority

Have you tried answering no, then going to Help>Repair and follow up with Help>Updates? A last resort is to uninstall (after deactivation), run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, remove leftover parts of Acrobat folder, reboot and reinstall. Be sure you have the installation files archived on a CD or backup drive and write the SN on the CD (and previous SN if an update) for future needs.

My MacPro will not wake up from sleep after the 10.8.2 upgrade.

Please read this whole message before doing anything. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it. The purpose of this test is to determine whether your problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login. Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs. The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Crashing at startup after the 3.4.2 upgrade?

Looks like quite a few reviewers on the App Store have had problems upgrading to the recent Aperture update to 3.4.2, and it looks like a few folks here have had the problem as well. The problem's similar to one that we saw here a few months ago.
So, if Aperture's crashing at startup, delete and reinstall the Aperture application. Doing so will not affect any of your existing libraries or images.
There's an article on Apple's support site here if you need more info. It's written for 3.4, but it looks like it's applicable to 3.4.2 as well.

Good advice, but one caution, Aye Es Oh;
the support article will apply, if you upgrade directly from an AP 3.3 version to 3.4.2, but not for upgrades from 3.4.1.
If the crash happens after upgrading from a working AP 3.4.1 I'd suspect to be more likely that the library needs fixing.

/ASU/UPGRADE after the ECC6.0 EHP4 upgrade Finalization step

Hello all,
Needed some information on the ASU step in Postprocessing phase of the upgrade. We are upgrading form 4.7 to ECC 6 EHP4 and we are in the Postprocessing phase. The current step is to perform the /ASU/UPGRADE, and I wanted to know if I need to stop te upgrade to perform this step or I can proceed with the rest of the Post processing and Finalization phase and still do the /ASU/UPGRADE step. Please advice ASAP.

we are in upgrade to ECC 6.0 EHP4 too and now at phase ASU/UPGRADE.
Note 1000009 advices to make adjusments in client 000, but we are working in client 100. And the procuced task list is client-dependent. So things like budget period or wage types are usually in working client.
Which is the correct client to use?

I am unable to start itunes since the latest update. I keep getting missing files pop up boxes and I have followed the directions and reinstalled - have tried both using the repair function and a the uninstall and reinstall function but nothing has fixed the problem. What do I do now?

Hi there,
Earlier iTunes (and supporting applications) need to be completely uninstalled before you can install the new version. Here's the complete Apple info on this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
Mobile device application will most likely fail to uninstall, so you would need to visit its location(s) and manually delete the files then folder(s). The location of the folders is documented in this link from Apple.
It's a pain, but it should work.
