Missing option in elements 12 ?

Hello,
I am following a photography class that requires photoshop elements 12.
I purchased it recently and in class yesterday it seemed there is an option missing...?
In expert it's supposed to be possible to go to:
- enhance
- adjust colours
- colour variations ('kleurvariaties' in dutch)
that last option seems to be missing?
We need it in class to create our own colour layers, in which it is also possible to create sepia and adjust it to our own preferences.
This option is in element 11, so why not in 12? Is it hidden somewhere else?
We checked every possibility and no one including the teacher can't find it anywhere, so it does seem to be missing?
I really hope you can help me, because i want to be able to follow the class as planned. Otherwise i seemed to better of with elements 11
Hope to get an answer that gives me some relieve of how to get this option!

If your class tutor is demonstrating 'colour variations' they're still on PSE11 or earlier. Or else they've not updated their training materials for the differences in PSE12.

I have a very large catalog and there are now a few hundred files missing due to me moving or deleting them outside of elements.
Is there a way to display only the missing files in elements so i can work through them and decide to search for them manually or delete them from my catalog?

If you are in Elements Organizer12, go to Find > All Missing Files
It will show all the missing files present in your catalog.

The server is running as an Open Directory with the DHCP / DNS / AFP and Print Services.
All Clients can log in and Easily work.
What does the log mean?

Hey there,
Check out this older log from Camelot. He gives a great explanation for what these logs mean. Really, they are nothing to be worried about. Its your server just letting you know which options are not configured.
However, if these items, such as dhcpnetinfo_servertag, are configured and that message is still showing up, then you know there is an issue somewhere.

In Firefox Nightly (what will become Firefox 20), per-window private browsing has been added, so the menu item under the Tools menu is gone. It's been replaced by New Private Window under the File menu. I don't suppose it's very likely that you're using such a cutting-edge test version of Firefox though.
If that doesn't solve the problem, since it's a different issue, it would be best if you would ask a new question.

InDesign is from a technical viewpoint a Plugin Activator.
Every function is a plugin.
With CC and higher you can change the language in the CC app preferences.
When you change the language, additonal plugins, necessary for that language are installed, with the MENA (Middle East North Africa) versions RTL functionality is added into your primary version.
InDesign chooses to start the program in the same language as you OS is set up, RTL functionality appears translated into your normal User Interface.
After installing a MENA version you can switch back to your main language.

Your earlier phone must have been originally intended for sale in another country and must have been purchased from somewhere other than an authorized Apple retailer. Phones that are intended to be sold in the UAE have FaceTime permanently disabled. The option is not there and cannot be made to work.

Computer crashing and nvidia control panel missing options

Hey, I bought 2x msi gtx 970 and put them in sli mode. They worked fine for a while but yesterday I started having problems. I was playing shadow of mordor and suddenly my screen went black and my computer restarted. It worked fine afterwards tho. Then today I played some LoL and after playing for like 15 minutes or so it happened again. But now also after the computer restarted my nvidia control panel was missing options. There were only setup g-sync, set up stereostopic 3d and view rating for games. I'm not sure if this happened yesterday too. I tried reinstalling the drivers (tho I'm not 100% sure I did a perfectly clean install) and the options came back but the crash happened again and the options disappeared also again. I have 850w corsair tx850 so I think that should be enough power? My mobo is asus P8Z77V-Deluxe and cpu intel i7 3770k @ 4.3ghz. So what is the problem?
EDIT: after I restarted my computer again the options in the control panel reappeared
EDIT2: I ran furmark with both sli on and sli off for about 50 minutes and oddly enough my computer didn't crash. Everything ran well. Here's some statistics from sli: GPU1: 1316MHz @ 99% load, temp 80 C, voltage 1.193V, GPU2: started at 1303MHz and then dropped to 1277MHz @ 97% load, temp 62 C, voltage 1.206V. Another weird thing is that the crashes in lol kept happening even after this and always around 15-20 mins to the game. I would say it's an issue with lol but it happened once with shadow of mordor too. I haven't played any other games. Also it's weird that this started happening only recently, not from the beginning. I do recall downloading some update to geforce experience recently, don't know if that matters.
Also I'd like to know that are those temperatures normal for air cooling in sli and/or are they too high?
EDIT3: Just noticed that everytime I try to run pci-express render test on gpu-z my computer crashes instantly and apparently trying to run furmark now also crashes the computer

Temps are completely fine for SLI on air. Top card always is much hotter than the other. However you could reapply thermal paste on both cards, run single card for 1h and record its temps, then do the same for the 2nd card (in single card mode so the other is out of the PC) and use the cooler one on top.
I feel so dumb right now. Seems like one power cord from the psu to my gpu wasn't properly attached and now that it's completely connected everything seems to work. I'll update this thread if that didn't fix the problem. But anyways thanks for your fast response

Photoshop Elements 7 Missing options on Menu Bar

I recently installed Photoshop 7 on my computer, I have Vista as my operating system.
I noticed that in the "Organize" screen, I am missing "File, Edit, Image, Etc.... options on the left side of the menue bar. I unstalled the program and reinstalled 7 again with the same result. I have looked at all the preferences I could find, but nothing that would alter the viewing of these Options. I have a registered copy of Elements. By not having these options, It is hard to utilize the "Organize Option".

ECC 6.04 : missing 'swap root element' option

Hi Experts,
I've developped a WDA application with a Flex component using Adobe Flash Islands on our HR system (ECC 6.04 - NW 7.01). Everything works just fine on this system but now I'd like to copy this application to another system. The new system is also an ECC 6.04 - NW 7.01 system but I can't find the required 'swap root element' option to use Adobe Flash Islands. The Flash Islands libraries are in the MIME repository.
Do we have to activate something to use the new WDA functionalities?

I want to encrypt a certain element of a request message for a proxy service. This is the policy portion embedded in the WSDL:

Maybe I am missing some detail in how the policy should be attached or declared? Or is it even possible to encrypt an optional element?

The process for DBAdapter configuration in JDeveloper has changed from 10.3.1 to 11g. You will need to recreate the DBAdapter related resources and then use it.

Missing Tools in Elements 7

It appears that some tools are missing, or hiding, in PS Elements 7. For example, I need to use the Impressionist brush. The online help says that if you don’t see it in the toolbox, select either the Brush tool or the Color Replacement tool , and then click the Impressionist Brush tool icon in the options bar.
First, when I click the Brush tool, there is no Impressionist Brush tool icon in the options bar.
Second, I can't find the Color Replacement tool.
The tools on the left side of PSE 7 that have little arrows (usually indicating a flyout set of tools) don't fly out.
Is there something I'm doing wrong? A weird setting somewhere?

Hi,
The similar tools are stacked on top of other. They can be accessed by pressing Right click on the icon of the tool you see on the top.
Not all tools have tools stacked. There is an arrow below the tool icon to indicate the stacked tools. You just have to press right click to open the stack.
For Impressionist brush, All sorts of brushes are stacked in one stack.
Brush tool stack contains : Brush tool, Color Replacement tool, Impressionist tool and Pencil tool.
While the first three have the same "B" hey as shortcut,, Pencil tool has "N" as tghe keyboard shortcut.

Need help getting Coscto as a "order prints" option in Elements 12.

Have already tried refreshing under "Preferences>Adobe Partner Services" several times and downloaded a new "ols_config.xml" file in the "assets" folder. Neither have worked. HELP

Missing options in text message

When in text messages after selecting a text messages but long touch on the text options 'copy' and 'more' come up. But further options under more is missing. Also in the middle of a phone call the phone gets disconnected and apple logo appears for sometime and then shows the call in progress. Looks like iOS8 has issues and needs an urgent fix

Updated iOS to the latest version 8.0.2. Rebooted, replaced SIM. problem doesn't occur all the time, it's intermittent. Sometimes the keyboard doesn't show up to type name in contact search. Once you reboot it works.

After last night's pcmanfm update (0.5.2-1 to 0.9.7-1), my pcmanfm is missing the tree option in the left panel (and judging from other posts, other things as well that I haven't needed yet).
Also my lxde now does not have a background nor is the entire tab available anymore in the "Desktop Settings" option (or anywhere anymore). It is a totally different "Preferences" window only giving General, Display, Volume Management, Advanced tabs.
I have regularly switched between ratpoison and lxde|openbox. I use "exec ck-launch-session lxde" in my ~/.xinitrc. I also tried "exec startlxde" which didn't help. I manually startx.
I have searched (and asked in #archlinux but nobody answered) and found these threads that touched on similar problems with pcmanfm but nothing about my issues that I could see. I also looked in lxde forums but no luck.

feh (an image viewer allows you to set backgrounds. I have pcmanfm installed, but I rarely use it since most times I just use cli commands to browse thru files. There are other light and fast file managers on the wiki if you were looking to switch.

Adobe XI send for shared review is missing option for Adobe online services, where did it go?

I am using Adobe XI and trying to share a PDF file using Comments --> Review ---> Send for Shared Review. The option to share via Adobe Online Services is missing. What is causing this and how do I get that option back? I am working on a Mac in Safari. Screen shot below:

With Acrobat Pro 11.0.06 I have send more 188 files for shared review with deadline in June.
After the update (automatically in May) to 11.0.07 Monday June, 2 became a cold shower to me:
1) to start a new Acrobat.com-based shared review was not possible anymore
2) tracking of my 188 reviews was not possible anymore, "no active reviews" = empty tracking list !!
My temporary solution: uninstall 11.0.07 and reinstall 11.0.00 with NO automatic updating: stop updating at version 11.0.06.
Result: the tracking list is filled with all items.
Earlier this year Adobe announced end of life of Acrobat.com-based shared reviews at the end of this year 2014.
My question to Adobe: how long is this type of shared review supported ?
My complete workflows are based on it.
