Missing: Outline & Full Page Icons in Tool Bar

The Tutorials show three Icons in a row at top left of tool bar: "View"Icon then "Full Page" Icon and then "Outline" Icon.
Instead I have the old "08 format" of View Icon then "Section" Icon (which is now in a new location).
Did they change the design after the tutorials were written or is there come kind of problem with my version?

Just an explanation why you needed to do what Yvan said. Because Pages 4/iWork '09 will use your Pages 3/iWork '08 preferences, the toolbar you see will display the icons you set in '08. Only if you were still using the default toolbar would it update to the '09 toolbar.

The installer is over 5Gb's and could take many hours to download.

Cannot open gmail page says server error, but other pages from google tool bar work just fine

I cannot access gmail from any opiton, web address, or tool bar. it gives an error of cannot find root? other pages from the tool bar work ie, utube, or g +..............I have checked my cookies and all are accepted. Specific message is: This page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has dected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. this problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

I have alike problem: I can access my account on Google+ or YouTube but when I try access GMail or Calendar I see error message about invalid redirect to https://accounts.google.com/CookieMismatch ("server redirects to this address in such way that request will never complete") with comment that this error usually occures when cookies are disabled. But I see that cookies are enabled in FireFox Setup. What's wrong?

My emails are appearing along the top of the page in the tool bar area? how do i get rid of this and back to the regular email page

I opened my Mozilla yesterday and noticed my email page format was different then after a second, I noticed all my emails were now appearing along the top of the page in the tool bar area below "Fine Edit View Go ...etc" I'm not sure what happened. PLEASE help me I'm sure it's probably an easy fix, however I don't know how to fix it :)~ Also they are oldest email first, and since I normally save them for 45 days before deleting, I cant seem to get to the most recent email first. Ugh.

This is what happens when you continually open messages in tabs but never close them. Pretty soon all you have are message tabs showing and you have pushed the Inbox off the screen.
Get in the habit of closing message tabs after you read them.
To get out of your situation now, right click one of the tabs and select Close Other Tabs. Then use the x to close the last one.

My start up disk is full safe mode shows no icons or tool bar. Please help

Your hard drive is too full. You need to delete some stuff. You should have at least around 10% of the total hard drive capacity free.

firefox hard drive installer icon appears, and installer window opens every time firefox is opened. Also 50% of the Icons in the tool bar minu are gone and just a dotted square is left.

Hide icons on tool bar in xp

Not sure where to post this or for that matter how to post it. I'm running a mac/intel tower. I've used bootcamp since the beginning. I'm using leopard and xp pro while in doz.I've updated to Bootcamp2.1. The wierd deal is the little arrow thingy in the windows tool bar does not appear. That the little deal that hides icons on the right side of the tool bar. How do I make it active again ? I've been to properties and done what I think I can there. Not at all sure what's going on. Any help out there ?

Yep I had seen that you had stated that you had checked on Properties however I wasn't sure which exact properties since there are so many and wanted to ensure that you didn't miss the obvious. And you didn't.
Also the icons will not hide unless the OS deems it/them inactive after some time. You can however try the following:
1.Right click on the taskbar and click on properties.
2. Then go to the notification tab.
3. Then click on customize
4. Choose which system tray icons you want to hide and then in front of it click and select the "hide always" option from the drop down menu.
If you use the "Always Hide" option and if it hides an icon then you will know that windows has yet to determine which icons are inactive to hide them. Once in a while, due to a bad boot etc, windows system tray forgets the inactive icons list and starts from scratch.

.mac sync icon in tool bar....

I installed leopard and everything was fine and dandy. I've never used .mac as it has no value for me. Suddenly yesterday somehow the sync icon for syncing .mac with my computer ended up in my tool bar in the top right. The icon is next to the spaces icon. I can't figure out for the life of me how to get rid of that stinkin icon. Any suggestions?

This is not an answer... I just really hope someone has an answer to this because I'm having the same problem and it's really annoying. My boyfriend installed Leopard at the same time and he doesn't have the icon showing up, so it obviously doesn't HAVE the be there. Opening up the preferences just asks me to sign in to my .mac account.

Removing vpn icon from tool bar

MacBook Pro no icons or tool bar just a blank screen.

My MacBook Pro was dead for a few months. When I got new charger for it took a long time to start up a grey screen with bar across the bottom it came on with the main blue pink starry sky. It has no tool bar no icons my background picture is gone. When it was working sometimes the date and time would set back to a date in the past too. Anyone know what might be going on?

Where did bridge Icon on tool bar go?

Might seem like a petty thing, but I like the convenience of having the bridge icon on the tool bar. Why this was removed is beyond me. Yes, I know it can be found in the File/Browse in Bridge but it's all about workflow.

Evernote Icon on tool bar can't delete

I try to use evernote for a while, but I don't like it, that's why I delete it, but after I use AppZapper to trash it, the Evernote icon still appear on my tool bar, anyone know how to get rid of it? Thanks.

hello, firefox doesn't add any third party extensions during an update - this rather sounds like adware that is present on your system. please perform these steps:

# afterwards go to the firefox menu ≡ > addons > extensions and in case there are still extensions listed there, disable them.

Display full page URL in address bar

I've published my site from MUSE to HTML and posted it to the GoDaddy server. Everything works, but no matter what page I'm on, the address in the browser address bar remains the same. My client wants the full address to appear so they can cut and copy the URL to specific pages into emails.
How do I get the full URL for the pages of the web site to display propertly in the address bar?
I want to mention that other sites that my client accesses are displaying correctly so it's not a browser setting. It's only when we browse to their site that the URL remains fixed for the duration of our visit.

That is an Edge animation you have there. When an Edge Animation is Placed into Muse it's put inside an iframe. So when welcome.html is loaded within an iFrame, all relatively called assets are loaded within the same frame and hence the URL in the address bar never changes. You may want to set target="_top" or "_parent" on the link in Edge Animate so when the link is followed it loads in the browser and not just within the iframe Muse uses to display the Edge Animate content.
