Missing phone log Icon

New user, I have some how misplaced the phone log icon?? Any ideas where it went? I have looked in every folder on the menu. Thanks for any help

Well you got me on the right track :-) I finally found it in my application folder (hide). :-( How the H#&L I did that I haven't a clue. I have a lot of learning for sure to do. Thanks for the guidance!!!

Reload your OS.
Plug your phone into your PC via USB. Open Desktop Manager and do a backup of your data. Once that's done, click Device at the top of DM and Update from the drop-down menu. The prompt might say your phone is up to date. Near the bottom of that prompt, you should see Show Other Versions. Click that. Make sure your current OS is the one that's checked. Click Update and wait it out.

Is there a missed call log on the iphone5

Is there a missed call log, an outgoing call log or an incoming call log on the iphone5?

Tap on the phone icon, tap on recent, at the top it says ALL then MISSED.

Phone Log Folders

I am wondering if you can create folders under phone log to seperate missed calls, incoming and outgoing?

Unfortunately you cannot create folders to separate your call log as you describe.
Try this workaround thought. Go into Messages, hit the menu button, and choose into View Folder. From you can select the "Phone Call Logs" folder.
You'll see different call types by the date. However depending on the type of call (Missed, Placed, Received) the icon will be different and you'll see the different statuses to the right of each name/number.

Blackberry 8310 Curve randomly deletes text/sms messages and phone logs

Why does this keep happening to me?
There are times that my phone goes over a week without it happening and then there are times like today it has happened three times.
I will have maybe 5 ot 6 text messages in my inbox and maybe 2 or 3 emails and I get a phone call and POOF the text messages and phone logs are gone!
I have repeatedly lost important text messages and numbers from my call log.
The tech support excuse for it is that I have too many messages in my inbox which causes it, but 6 sms messages and 3 emails is too much?
I have tried everything (updating the desktop software, updating all of the settings NOT to delete messages until i delete them, hard booting my phone once a day, etc..) and it still does it.
This also used to happen with my Blackberry Pearl.
If I can't get it resolved, I will just switch to the iPhone. I can deal with the randomly dropped calls, but constantly loosing my call logs and text messages is BEYOND frustrating and Blackberry tech support has been no help!.

Hi,
You have low free memory left on your device.
Do you have a lot of third party applications on your BB weather, icall,bbalerts etc?
I do not know your experience level, so if you know this I'm sorry but please read and let me
know if this applies.
Most people close the applications by pressing the escape or red key. This does not close the applications.
Each application has a CLOSE option. For instance if you are in the calendar hit the menu key (spotted key) and scroll down to the bottom CLOSE is listed. Go through each application and press close. Go into the browser press menu and options select cache operations clear all categories and hit escape it will say cleaning memory.
Go to options - security - memory cleaning - enable it. The BB will now clean memory when idle for 5 minutes.
you will have an icon on you screen for memory cleaning make sure you press it. Make sure you use the CLOSE button each time you are done with an application.

Clearing phone log

How do you clear the phone log on the z10?

Hit the phone icon, you will see call log. Slide down from top, Settings on right, X on left "clear phone log" Nice and simple on Z10.

Nokia 6120 classic - Call log icons bug

Hi to all.
This is my first message in the forum.
One week ago I bought a Nokia 6120 classic with brand Vodafone (I'm from italy).
Everything works great except the icons in the call log, accessible with the green key (that's to say the answer key).
In fact, despite the phone numbers are correctly stored (and divided, for each contact, into mobile, home, etc.), the icons in the call lag is always the small blue icon related to a mobile phone niumber, even if the number does not correspond to a mobile phone number.
I have firmare version 4.21.
This is what appears with *#0000#

Through Nokia Software Updates I see there is a new firmare: v6.01.
Do you know if this firmware fix the call log icons bug?
As it is the unique bug I faced, I don't want to go on with a firmeware update if the new firmare do not solve it.
Unfortunately I can't find on the web a changelog for this firmware.

well the change logs for firmware updates are not public knowledge, they do not get released so in reality you never know what you are getting. firmware update is always recommened as it brings in more stability to the phone, usually fixes bugs, improves speed, sometimes battery performance and other identified issues. the chances are that you will not be able to find a changelog for your phone. you may not be able to update your phone unless it has been approved by voda since your phone is branded it is up to them to release approved firmware versions for thier customers.

Crashing when I scroll right into phone log

ok, I'm a newbie so forgive me if I posted in the wrong forum.
I just installed the new version for Trio 680 AT&T
Had many problems to work through including ALL of my contacts disappearing on my computer!
Only one very wierd problem left...
From phone I can scroll right through the other menu short cuts including phone keys, favs, main menu and contacts but when Iscroll right one more time to phone call log, BAM, crash and reset.
Is this crazy? Yeah I thought so too.
I installed
Trio 680 2.11
Desktop Win414e
PalmOutlook 2007 Conduit
I also tried several hot sincs and 3 hard resets
Any help would be appreciated, I use my phone log alot

Me too. There was nothing wrong with my Treo680 before I updated to 2.12
Some specs visible in the Phone Info screen:

This issue renders the phone to half functionality. I cannot see the calls received, missed, and therefor I cannot callback anyone if they did not leave a voicemail message with their number.

Message Folder contains phone logs

Hi,
I also have 8700g V4.5.0.55 (Platform 2.7.0.68). I've notice that a Message Folder contains not only email but also phone logs (records of missed call, outgoing call, incoming call, etc.) in the same folder. How do I get rid of this? My BOLD doesn't have phone logs shows in Message Folder.
One more thing, is there any way to turn off LED status when it is being charge - like BOLD when you put it in Bedside Mode. I thought I did it once but can't recall how I did it.

Hi darwin. To make sure you don't see any phone call info in your messages, hit send (green button) then hit menu. Go to options and select call logging. Select none and you're good to go. As far as the LED blinking when charging, I'm pretty sure there isn't a way to turn this off on your model. The only thing I can think of would be to turn it face down or put it in a case or something I hope I was of some help!

8900 Curve call log icon

I recently switched over from my 8800 to my new 8900 Curve -- I love the 8900 however I miss the call log icon and the call log in general -- My options are set for call logging however the call logs are mingled with my email messages and as such are difficult to track -0-0 where as my 8800 had a separate call log -- with an icon on my desktop which made it very easy to see missed calls and so on. Thanks!

1. If you press the green dial key, you should open direct to the Call Log. Does that not happen on your device?
2. To remove the calls logged from your main messages folder, open the Call Log by pressing the green dial key > press the Menu key > Options > Call Logging and remove the choice from ALL.

Try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.

not have Data Vault, just looking to audit this using Oracle’s database auditing.
My organization also has Oracle Audi Vault, but Database Auditing Events have to be set in database
first for collection agent to pass this information to Oracle Audit Vault server.

8820 phone settings icon gone

the phone settings icon on my 8820 is gone. I have no way to change the settings to vibrate, etc. I tried using the show all, but its not there. any help appreciated.

You can also try resetting your default theme by doing the following:
Go into Options | Theme
Hit your menu button, and choose Reset Theme Defaults
