Missing Premiere CS6 presets with a Creative Cloud subscription

Hi there,
I've got this problem of missing presets/codecs with my Premiere CS6 installation. I've read many of the other threads about this problem but I still can't fix it on mine.
I have CS6 (6.0.0) installed and activated with my Creative Cloud log-in details. I tried updating it online to 6.0.2 but they still don't appear. I've uninstalled and re-installed and still nothing. I tried deactivating but it says "Deactivation was not successful. Please Try Again."
Is there any way to fix this?? I'm in Africa with a very slow internet connection so I can't download a new CS6 installer. Any ideas most appreciated as my CC subscription was a complete waste if I can't fix it.
Thanks

Adobe has different installers for different media.  For example, there is one installer for Encore and Premiere Pro functional content that was purchased through CC or on disc, and another installer for Electronic Software Download purchases.  If you have the installer for ESD and you're trying to use CC credentials, you may be out of luck unless and until you download the correct installer.
Tech Support should have been able to tell you whether or not you have the proper installer for your license.

How many PCs can I use with one Creative Cloud subscription? For example I currently use Lightroom on a home PC with 2 large screens, but use a laptop or iPad when travelling. Does one monthly subscription cover all 3 or do I need 3 separate subscriptions ?

  • Are there any training seminars included with a creative cloud subscription?

    Hello,
I am looking for training with the creative cloud. Are there any seminars that go along with my subscription? I'm not talking about simple training videos - I need full training for my employees. Perhaps an online seminar?
    Thanks!

You will probably get more information by asking in the forum for the programs you use
If you will start at the Forums Index https://forums.adobe.com/welcome
You will be able to select a forum for the specific Adobe product(s) you use

  • How much storage space is supposed to come with a creative cloud subscription?

I am still seeing only 2 GB of storage space available to me, even though I upgraded from a trial subscription to the Photography (Photoshop/Lightroom) Creative Cloud subscription. Is this correct or should I be seeing 20 GB? If the latter, any tips on how to correct?

  • Can I install both CC and CS6 apps with my Creative Cloud membership?

Yes, you can download CS6 apps from the Download Center on creative.adobe.com. Click any app icon. From the product download page, for instance Illustrator, look for the heading "In this version" and click the version pop-up menu beneath it to select CC or CS6. The big blue Download button at the top of the page changes to "Download CS6".
Note: It is fine to have both CS6 and CC apps on your computer. Some users require mutliple versions for different clients, etc. Its a personal preference, but in no way is a requirement to uninstall your CS6 apps in order to install CC apps.
Tip: From the Creative Cloud destop app, click the "More Information" link under any app to be taken directly to the product download page.

Go into your CC Desktop app: Find new apps, change "All" to "Previous Version".
Click on Install next to Photoshop and CS6 will be an option.

  • Can I use 2 computers with 1 Creative Cloud subscription?

Just want to make sure I can have CS6 on my desktop and laptop with the 1 Creative Cloud sub.

I think, the whole thing is a little bit confusing.
You may install the software on 2 different computers, but you my not use them simultaniously.
Prateek Aggarwal, an Adobe employee, wrote in the Muse forum:
As a subscriber to Adobe Muse software, you will have Access to both the Mac OS and Windows versions and the ability to install them on your primary computer and one backup computer. So, you can install your applications on both as long as they are not running at the same time.
According to the Terms and conditions "The primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed under, (“Primary User”) may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer or a Computer located at his or her home, provided that the Software on the portable or home Computer is not used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer.
    Hope, that helps

  • Push live not showing with a creative cloud subscription

    Hi,
I have uploaded a site created in Muse to business catalyst.
The previews all work fine so I am ready to push it live (I already have a domain name I need to transfer).
But When I go on the Manage site toolbar and open business catalyst I do not get the push site live option.
And When I go to the site domains tab it says "you cannot us this feature in a trail site. Please upgrade to a paid plan."
I thought that as a creative cloud subscriber I had a paid plan and could simply click push live then sort my domain transfer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks very much,
    Tim

    Tim,
It seems like you are publishing the website on someone else's Partner portal.
Please contact support department via chat using the link : http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/support-options-muse.html as this requires some realtime troubleshooting to get it sorted and get the Push site live button.

  • How can I install and use my purschased CD of cs6, without renewing my Creative Cloud subscription?

I previously had a CS6 subscription through the cloud but after my year subscription was up, I decided to purchase the CD and install because I didn't like the idea of not being able to access my files without monthly payments. After I uninstalled the programs from my subscription, I installed my purchased disc of CS6 and when I went to open InDesign, an expiration message pops up telling me to renew my subscription? How can I get rid of that message and use my product?

make sure cc desktop app is uninstalled and then run the cleaner, Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
after your system is cleared of cc apps, open a cs6 app > click help > click activate and use your serial number.

  • Photoshop CS6 installation failing with Creative Cloud Subscription

I have a Creative Cloud subscription and I am having trouble installing Photoshop CS6 with the Adobe Application Manager. The application will download but when installing it gives me an Installation Failed error with the message "The download appears corrupted. Press Cancel, wait a few minutes and try again (-60)"
    I am using a Macbook Pro 17" i7 8GB with Mac OSX 10.7.3.
When I look at the DLM_Native.log file using the Console I get a whole bunch of errors like the following.
    [ERROR] | 7B2C1C2F-AC72-4B17-9D58-C9BC80BC9A07 |  |  |  |  |  | Checksum validation failed for segment 510
    [WARN] | 7B2C1C2F-AC72-4B17-9D58-C9BC80BC9A07 |  |  |  |  |  | Some Error has come during download operation with Error type - -60, and Error Code - 417
I have about 60GB of free hard drive space, so I know I am not running out of space for installation.
I do not see an alternative way of downloading other than the Adobe Application Manager. If I go to my orders page on Adobe.com and click download for Photoshop CS6 it just opens the Application Manager and begins downloading from there.
I have downloaded and installed Illustrator and Flash Professional using the Application Manager without issue.

Thanks for the quick response Jeff. I wonder if there's something else going on. All the other apps (Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver et al) downloaded and installed to the same location (Applications folder) no problem using the application manager. When I tried to use the download manager to download Photoshop separately, the download destination was set to the desktop, while logged in with administrator privileges. The .dmg downloaded without any apparent problems but generated a checksum error warning when I tried to expand it. I tried several times, had antivirus and Little Snitch turned off, tried again after restarting etc. to no avail.
Interestingly, my colleague experienced the exact same problems on his (Mac) system, which is running same OS.
I got around all this by downloading Photoshop from the CS6 direct download page using the link you provided, for which many thanks.

  • Need to download Lightroom CS6 that is NOT creative cloud.

I need hoping to get a downloadable version of Adobe Lightroom CS6 (that is not creative cloud) to activate with my product code.  My brother helped me purchase adobe lightroom, he is an Adobe employee, last year. I had downloaded Lightroom application at that time and saved it to my external hard drive to install on my computer at a later date. Well it turns out I lost my external hard drive!
I have my product key and confirmation email, but can't seem to find a proper downloadable version of Lightroom that will work with my CS6 product code. I tried to download the creative cloud version of lightroom that's from the adobe website, but my code doesn't work with it.  I can't seem to find any another lightroom download available that actually installs to my computer (I assume this is probably because of all those Adobe PIRATES!)
Please let me know if you can help - I have my product key and everything! Thanks!

  • Is 3D type included in Photoshop CS6 in Creative Cloud subscription?

At a previous job, I used to be able to do 3D type in Photoshop CS2, but that may have been due to a plug-in, I'm not sure.
At my current job, I have a Creative Suite CS6 Creative Cloud subscription and I was watching a tutorial to refresh my memory about doing 3D type.
Now, whenever I try to create 3D, either directly from the text, or from a rasterized version, all the 3D options in the menus are grayed out. And the 3D button doesn't appear in my options bar as it does in the tutorial video.
Is this another feature that is not available the Cloud version of CS6 or am I missing something?

3D can be disabled on older OSes (XP) and if your video card doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

  • I'm trying to download Photoshop CC with the creative cloud app. When I click on updates it just spins and spins, nothing happens.  Help!

I'm trying to download Photoshop CC with the creative cloud app. When I click on updates it just spins and spins, nothing happens.  Help!

    Hello,
I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC (together with the Apps) doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)
I quote: ... helps resolve installation problems for Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Creative Suite (CS3-CS6) applications. The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications. It does not affect existing installations of previous versions of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.
Please use: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html  and follow the prescribed sequence of operations
If necessary and for further questions and if "open" please use chat, I had the best experiences.

    Hi Daniele,
The CC2014 applications are only compatible with 10.7 or later but you can install CC and CS6 versions of most of Adobe applications but not all.
