Missing 'Presets' drop-down menu

The 'Presets' drop-down menu is missing from my Adjustments HUD. I'm processing some RAWs from a photoshoot and need to create a Black & White preset but I can't. I can't access any Presets, nor can I make new ones because the Preset's drop down menu doesn't exist, and I can't find a regular way of navigating to this function via the main menu. Everything else appears to be working fine. Any Ideas?
I'm using Aperture 3.4.3 (app store version), OSX Lion 10.7.5, and running my Mac Pro in 64bit (8-core, early 2009).
FYI I've never used Presets before, so have no idea if this is a new problem or if it's always been there.

Save As missing from drop down menu.

I don't have the Save As option in my file dropdown menu. I would like to save pages documents as word, I am unable to check that box its grayed out. if anyone can let me know how to resolve this issue I would greatly appreciate it. It only has a Save option and that does not allow me to save as word.

Before "saving" as Word I advise you to save the document in its native format, .pages. The conversion the Word isn't perfect. Then to get a Word document you have to Export to Word, either from the File menu or from the Share menu in Pages.

Missing drop down menu in search bar

My search bar is missing the drop down menu. Yahoo has mysteriously appeared as the default engine in my search bar window. When I click the search icon, no drop down menu appears but rather my home page defualts to Yahoo.
This just started today.

I think Yahoo replaced your search bar. There would be a solution in

The open with & share with options are gone too when I right click files. My computer crashed & I had to have the motherboard replaced. I'm having the same issue. I got a new PC, insalled Acrobat X pro and when I right click on an Office file, I could not combine or convert Office files to PDF. I upgraded to Acrobat XI and still no fix. I triled to convert or combine office files to PDF from within Acrobat and I get an error message saying "Acrobat does not support the conversion of one or more of your files to PDF. Please remove these files or go to Settings and choose the PDF Portfolio option".
I've tried to convert or combine Office 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013 files and none work. The weird thing is that the option shows up for Excel .csv files. Even more werid is that I have the PDF tabs showing in the Office applications.
I contacted Adobe support via chat and they were unable to help. I was directed here, so any help would be great.

"Hyperion" drop-down menu missing from MS Word 2003

Hello all,
I have an end user who has had their "Hyperion" drop-down menu go missing in MS Word. Other than telling them to re-install Smartview, does anyone know of an easy way for them to get the menu back? In Excel, this is a simple fix but it doesn't seem to be as straight-forward with Word. We are running EPM 11.1.1.3 and Office 2003.
Any feedback is very much appreciated.

Uninstall/re-install did not work. Here are the steps that were required to resolve the issue.
1. Open the MS Word 2007.
2. Click Office Button
3. Click “Word Options”
4. Select “Add-Ins”
5. At the bottom, select the option “Disabled items” for the option ‘Manage’ and click Go
6. Enable Smartview

Missing countries in Contacts drop-down menu

Hey everyone,
A couple of days ago I was adding a new contact whom happen to live in Sri Lanka. However, to my surprise the Sri Lanka is not among the countries available in the drop down menu! Has anyone seen countries missing in the list?
You would think that the list would be complete, since there is no other mechanism for selecting a country for a contact. Maybe it would have been better to just leave the "country" field as a text box.

My mail subfolders are missing from the viewing pane, but available from inbox drop down menu. How do I get them back in the viewpane?

After a restart, all of my mail subfolders are gone from the side view pane. I can pull them down individually from the 'inbox' drop down menu. How do I get them back into the sidebar so I can sort mail out of the inbox?

No anti virus software running as far as I am aware, as in I didn't launch any before reinstating the search email function.
I was running a folder repair function on my inbox (which seemed to complete successfully for the emails in the inbox) when I noticed the majority of the mail folders had disappeared.

Execute option missing from JSP drop down menu

I'm going through a Java Web Development class and trying to produce a small web app through Sun Java Studio Enterprise 7 2004Q4. I have two servlets, a couple of classes and two JSPs. At seemingly random times the "Execute" and "Execute (force reload)" options from the drop down menu you get when you right click a JSP fails to show up. It isn't grayed out, it just isn't there. Most of the time these options are there. And they can be there one time and then for the same project, same set of JSPs everything, they just disappear.
Can anyone tell me what dumb thing I'm doing to cause this?
And can anyone tell me how to fix it once I've done it?

First of all thank you for all the time you are spending on this. Believe me I know how frustrating it can be to figure out what is happening when you can't reproduce the problem.
On to your questions: I am running Windows XP Professional. I have checked and made sure that the extension is still .jsp and that it isn't changing. No I don't have the IDE set up to show extensions, however the icon beside the file is the jsp icon and when I go to Windows explorer (where I do have it set to show known extensions) it is a .jsp file and does not have the ever exasperating hidden extension that windows is infamous for. Sun Studio seems to recognize the file as a proper jsp (due to the icon).
As to your further questions. I am executing it by right clicking on the jsp file itself. And the jsp file is in the documents folder not in the web/inf folder.
At this point we are out of the class and it isn't nearly as important that I get an fix. We (our company) will probably not do jsp files and servlets thourgh Sun Java Studio Enterprsise. Instead we are looking at using Sun Java Studio Creater to do the view layer.

Drop down menu missing in every website

Any drop-down menu on website works "fine" but the render was wrong.
When clicked, nothing could be shown but only the drop-back shadow.
It just like the menu become total transparent.
PS: any white colored firefox menu, "New tab""Print""Developer", has the same problem.
Everything will be all right in safe mode,tried to disabled all addons/plugins,reseted setings,be do not help at all.
PS2: Changing theme could fix this problem

Disabling hardware acceleration did indeed fix the problem, thanks! Unfortunately, I'm on a Thinkpad and Lenovo is very slow at getting the latest driver updates out. I too have the latest available driver.
This is still an issue Mozilla should try to resolve if folks like me and Mike are on the newest available drivers for our systems.

MS Word-missing print in file drop down menu

My Mom runs Microsoft Word on her approx 4-year old iMac using OSPanther.
Just recently, when she wants to print using the File-drop down menu to select print, the print option is not there at all. Not just suppressed. Not there at all. Command+P does not work either
No problems with, for example, Safari and Mail. Just Word.
Any ideas on how this could happen? Some sort of odd preference?

Firefox addresses in navigation bar are missing/replaced by different drop-down menu

When I type in an address, the drop-down menu no longer contains the same list of addresses as always. Instead, there is a list of locations (minus the actual www.com addresses beneath each one) in bold font and some of the locations are repeated on the drop-down menu but take me to a different site. Its a guessing game where Im going when I click on one. Beside each listing, there is a magnifying glass icon which was not there before. I have been searching/reading for almost 3 hours trying to trouble shoot the issue and Ive even attempted to restore to default with no luck. This is truly annoying me.. Any suggestions?

E-mail alias drop-down menu in Mail missing?

Ordinarily when I create a new e-mail in Mail, the new e-mail window has a drop-down menu from which I can pick an e-mail alias. It's disappeared for some reason. How do I restore it?
I don't know if it's connected, but at the moment, I seem to be unable to send a message from Mail. I checked the connection, and it said it's fine, but the message won't send. Was able to send using iCloud.com, though.

That only appears if you have multiple smtp servers. If you are not able to send emails, I would guess one of your smtp servers is not on line. Check the Connection Doctor to see if there is a problem.
