Missing Presets in Prelude CS6

We are trying to use Prelude to ingest some video and transcode to either MPEG2 or MXF OP1a. Those presets are showing up in Media Encoder as system presets, but they are not showing up at all in Prelude. Shouldn't Prelude be using the presets from Media Encoder? Is there a way to sync up Prelude so that it sees all of the available presets that are in Media Encoder?

I tried this on my Mac, in Prelude CS6 (1.0.2) I could see the two presets which contained in AME CS6 (6.0.2). But I would like to collect more information from you.
Could you see the two formats (MPEG2 and MXF OP1a) in Premiere Pro CS6? If you could see the two formats in Premiere Pro, you could have a try with re-install Prelude CS6. When you re-install Prelude, please follow the steps below:
Uninstall Prelude;
Run the cleanup script found here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
Reinstall Prelude and launch it to see whether you could see the two formats or not.

Uninstalling Illustrator CS6 and Prelude CS6 Mac Betas

I was on beta team of CS6 and before release this past week was experiencing an issue with Adobe Application Manager. A very unhelpful and uninformed Adobe Tech rep demanded that I uninstall all beta apps manually. I knew this was wrong but followed his advice. Now installing from the Creative Cloud and am getting error messages in Illustrator CS6 and Prelude CS6 installations that there are conflicting files. I cannot locate these conflicting files using Spotlight. All other apps installed without a problem. Since I removed all of these beta files, including uninstallers, manually (following the bad advice of about the worst tech rep I have ever experienced), I have no uninstallers to find these files. I recall that after the cs5 beta cycle, there were several clean-up scripts available to remove any residue of beta software. Does such a script exist or is there a different way to find and remove those conflicting files?
This is the Illustrator error message:

I apologize for the experience you had with our support representative. They were partly correct though with asking you to remove the beta version prior to installing the released version but you would have wanted to use the uninstallers. At the moment I would recommend running the cleaner tool. Does Bridge CC have more text animation presets then Bridge CS6?

so I upgrade from CS6 to CC and did not install Bridge CC. Then while in After Effects CC I try to view the text animation presets, but window informs me I do not have Bridge CC installed. I then download and install Bridge CC and view the animation presets, but seem all the same as Bridge CS6 has.
My question is - Does Bridge CC have more text animation presets then Bridge CS6.
Is there another procedure to acquire more? Did I click past something on my first launch of Bridge CC?

Best try this in the After Effect forum, to my knowledge not many AE users are here at a regular base. Besides that, every suite version has its dedicated applications to work together in that suite, CC is no exception to that so for best practice use Bridge CC.

How to create a new paper size preset in photoshop CS6

Hi, Im trying to create a new paper size preset in PS CS6. I was told if I went to my PS folder, I will find a folder named presets. Inside that folder there should be a text document called "New Doc Sizes.txt" but it's not there.
Has anyone any idea where I might find this text file in a presets folder?
I have a C drive, but my folder for CS6 is on my D drive. I use Windows Ultimate 7 x64.

There's a file named "New Doc Sizes.psp" on my Mac. "Save Preset..." in the "File > New..." dialogue stores custom doc specs in that file.
/Users/<name_deleted>/Library/Preferences/Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings/New Doc Sizes.psp
There should be an equivalent in Windows.

Prelude CS6 Cloud won't open

Hi
I just bought CS6 Cloud and all programmes open up perfect expt Prelude.
Prelude opens up with the splash screen, I can see that loading reaches QuickTime.prm and then the program shuts down abruptly.
Do you have any idea how I can solve this prob?

Sorry for my late answer (had two days off before easter)..
It's very strange, I don't see any crash report in logbook, neither in
Programs nor in System (and I updated logbook after attempt to open
Prelude).
I can't launch Prelude from App manager, tried directly from exe file in
Explorer but same thing happens - Is there any other way to retrieve info
about this crash (looked through minidump, but nothing there).
I'm still on test version allthough reseller says I should have got
License number from Adobe - I chatted with Adobe support, and they asked
me to send in the order confirm i did that 2 days before easter but still
no reply...

Sorry for reply you late, I spent almost one day to set up a new XP
machine.
I tried on a Windows 32bits XP SP3, I can launch Prelude CS6 from "Adobe
Application Manager" successfully, can also launch Prelude CS6 from
Windows Start menu successfully, and I can launch Prelude CS6 with or
without QuickTime installed. I can see "loading ImporterQuickTime.prm" on
the splash screen but without crash.
Could you please send me the crash log file?

Markers Not Importing from Prelude CS6 to CC

Hello. I'm using Prelude CS6 and sending to files to someone using Prelude CC. The markers are not importing when he opens the files I've sent. We're only using Subclip markers. Neither of us are particularly familiar with Prelude and I hope it's a simple solution. What can we do to fix this? Thanks.

The marker exchange format has not changed since CS6. So as for compatibility there shouldn't be any issue.
Can you tell me which file format you are using? How did you transfer the files to your colleague? If you are working with a format that writes sidecar files to hold the marker information (these will be files ending in .XMP and will be located next to the essence media file), then you will want to ensure these XMP files travel with your media.

Missing presets for Adobe Media Encoder 6.0

Im missing my DVD preset's in Adobe Media Encoder 6.0. I recently downloaded the Production Suite from the cloud. How do I get them?
If I open Media Encoder the preset is there but if I send it to Queue it changes the encoding to AAC audio only. If I use the Export setting in the media encoder it works fine.

Prelude CS6 won't launch

I downloaded thru Creative Cloud Prelude CS6. The installation seems to have gone fine, but when I click on the Launch Application, Prelude will load until I get a screen error message of:
Adobe Prelude.exe - Application Error
The Instruction at "0x13f6304e" referenced memory at "0x7ff9d)6c" The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program. Click on CANCEL to debug the program.
This is installed on a Windows XP machine. I downloaded this once and got the same error. I deleted the program thru Control Panel and ran CC Cleaner on the registry and downloaded again and received the same error message. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Its an issue with bad sectors on the hard drive, if you have a MAC, run the disk utility :

AME 7.2.2 missing presets

Several of our PCs (Win7) are missing presets(broadcast-XDCAM HD, XDCAMEX, XDCAM, SD, MPEG2). We are running AME ver. 7.2.2. Our Macs (10.9.5)are ok and all the needed presets are there.
I found the required presets on Adobe site but I am unable to import them. "Preset could not be found. No exporter found for this preset".

Do you also have Premiere installed? If so, try this:
Launch Premiere and choose Help > Sign Out
Quit and relaunch Premiere. Sign back in with your Creative Cloud ID when prompted.
Quit Premiere and launch Media Encoder.
Check if MPEG2 exporter and presets are available.

Prelude CS6 thinks it needs Creative Cloud license ...

The question is in the title. For some reason I can't run Adobe Prelude CS6 anymore.
I got it with Master Collection CS6.
At some point I tried Create Cloud for free, but now Prelude (and I think one other app) thinks I should get a Creative Cloud license ...
Not sure what to do. Don't want to reinstall everything again. Not even sure reinstalling Master Collection is enough, maybe Windows (Seven) needs to be reinstalled as well?

Missing Sequence Presets in PremierePro CS6

I'm trialling Premiere CS6 and there are loads of presets missing on the sequences! XDCAM, Red, AVCHD, Canon.... all missing! Any suggestions appreciated. I have CS5 and that's all fine!

I know it's been a while but I have a found a solution that worked for me.
I also work for a company that doesn't allow direct connection to the internet but has an internal network and proxy.
When I installed Adobe Creative Suite and successfully activated it via offline method (or so I thought), I would only see six basic presets for premiere pro, and was missing full hd projects etc.
It seems that Adobe doesn't like network domains and was picking up web packets even behind the proxy; and refused to activate properly (the clue was Adobe Encore refusing to start).
What I did was open Adobe Reader (pure coincidence), click Help > Deactivate because the option was greyed out in Premiere, then completely shut off my network card* and clicked help > activate in Premiere. Restarted Premiere and everything worked fine...
