Missing Quick Links
Since upgrading to the latest version of iTunes I've had several Quick Links disappear such as "My Alerts", "Complete My Album" and "Upgrade to iTunes Plus". These no longer appear, whether I am signed in or not
The loss of these is very inconvenient. Does anyone know of a solution? Thanks.
Well I FINALLY managed to find the "My Alerts" button... from the i-Tunes home page, enter in the search bar (top right) an artist you want to add. When the pages load you should see a bunch of albums from the artist... click on any one of the CD's they made. The next page will bring up details of that CD. Look under the album artwork you'll see "customer ratings", then the "Top 3" of that artist... look down further until you see "More(name of artist)" under that Title you'll see "biography" then "Artist Alerts". Click it and you're done! I did notice it may not show up in your list of alerts right away, may take a few minutes, or require you to log off and back on. Hope this helps everyone!

I had a quick links bar that contained several of my daily sites. Today I opened Firefox and that bar is no longer there. I have tried to find it under the "View" tab but nothing exists. Where did it go and how do I bring it back?

If it was the Bookmarks toolbar and it's no longer visible, you can make it visible by going into ''View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar''.
If the Bookmarks toolbar is visible but no bookmarks are displayed, go into ''Bookmarks > Bookmarks Toolbar'' and see if there's anything inside it. If there is, go into ''View > Toolbars > Customize... > Restore default set'', to restore your interface buttons to their default postion. If there is nothing inside ''Bookmarks > Bookmarks Toolbar'', something deleted what was inside it. You should be able to restore your bookmarks by going into ''Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks... > Import and Backup > Restore''.
If none of this helps, you may be having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not coming from one of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] and select ''Disable all add-ons''. If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. See [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes this article] for information about troubleshooting extensions and theme. You can troubleshoot plugins the same way.
If you want support for one of your add-ons, you'll need to contact its author. -
I have a wish list in my itunes on my computer but i can't find it in my itunes on my ipad2. I went to my movies tab and it is not there in my quick links. Where did it go? For that matter why does the itunes store/account look different on my ipad as opposed to my computer? There is a lot of links missing from my ipad2 itunes -------
To my knowledge, the wish list has never been in the iTunes app. It certainly isn't now. You can comment to Apple here:

Quick link does not open in new window
Hi all
I created an URL iView and assigned a quick link to it. The "launch in new New Window" property is set to
"display in separate window".
If i call the quick link url the iView is not shown in a separate window, but in the content area. Why?
If I click in the portal on that iView, it opens in a new window.
What am I missing here or is it a portal bug?

Why aren't my previous purchases showing when I click "Quick Links", then "Purchased" in the iTunes Store??
1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

I am trying to relocate a movie I have lost on my itunes. My quick link to purchased items on itunes does not show movies. How can I get my movie back. I have part of the download, the extras but movie is missing. only purchased in Novermber2011 but I have changed computer. The other one died. Any ideas.
Subsequent movie downloads are currently only available in the USA and only some of those are (depending upon studio).
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not available in all countries; apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this). Movies currently available in the USA only. Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later. Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid. Apple notes it is your responsibility to back up your purchases.
Select the store on the left side of iTunes.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links.
You can re-download your available previous purchases. -

I have Role A that contains Workset A, that contains Page A which contains iView A. Similarly, Role B -> (contains) Workset B -> Page B -> iView B. Both Page A and Page B have parameter QuickLink configured as "Hello", thus making them duplicate quick links. The reason behind having duplicate quick links is to suit the scenario: if User has Role B only, then http://<domain>/Hello should display Page B under Role B. But If User has Role A and B, then http://<domain>/Hello will display Page A under Role A 1st.
I read that to create this sequencing can be done by arranging the sort order of the navigation node -"If one quick link string is defined for two navigation nodes, the first node in the useru2019s navigation tree is displayed."
Thus, I attempted to create this order by setting Sort Priority of Role A to be lesser than Role B which makes Role A the top navigation node. But it doesn't seem to work as in some cases, Page A will be called sometimes Page B will be called when http://<domain>/Hello is called.
Is there something I've missed out that anyone can kindly advise on? THank you.Generally we should not create duplicate quick links, but we can always do that.
In that case, the first one will display in the tree structure.

Found instructions for "gifting" an amount to another account. It says to use the "Quick Links" and select gift. Fine. I see nothing called quicklinks! What am I missing? Are these old instructions?
Thanks I have followed those exact directions I know my supplied CC info is correct yet twice now it has immediately informed me it cannot be processed! I'm at loss. Not only that but it immediately tells me to contact itunes store support! You'd think that would be something simple click would allow?? Perhaps even a link in the error msg but no1 i had to dig through the online help that led me back to the very info you just gave me and ended up having to email support because that is the only other option they provide. Not a chat with support icon to be found. So now I wait. They'll probably give me the very same link! sigh... thanks for trying to help!

Can't find delete button for quick link address in my inbox navigation pane !
Hi,
There is no delete button for quick link which I mistakenly added in my inbox navigation pane. In fact, the link I added for quick link was a mistake and it was a different page address, and the missing delete button is for this specific link only; other than it is alright. How can I remove or delete it from my inbox quick link ?

CyberkhanThere does seem to be a close/delete button present that is hidden under the 'm' from 'google.com' that is probably not clickable.
I don't know if there should be such a long link visible in that list item or that something else is wrong.
You can try to right-click that area and use Inspect Element to open the Inspector.

New Super-Administrator Unable To Use quick link /message
Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I am unable to use the quicklink /message because it says I do not have authorization to use the function. It says I need to request
authorization, by contacting one of the administrators at my company.
Well, I am a Super-administrator.
By the way, after clicking on HOME, under "Learn More", I clicked on "Information for New Super-administrators" and was taken to "Detailed Information for Super-Administrators." Item 4.a is titled "How to proceed if you do not have full authorization as a super-administrator?" It says:
"In case you do not have full authorization, create a message (quick link /message) with component XX-SER-SAPSMP-USR and request the assignment of the missing authorizations."
As I mentioned above, I am unable to use /message, because I don't appear to have authorization. So it's going to be hard for me to report, via using /message, that I cannot use /message.
As you can see, I am stuck in a loop. Any suggestions?

In this case, you will need to call your SAP support number and tell them about the situation and ask them to create a message for you manually.
Assuming that you are in the US based on your business card, here is the support number for you to call:
Phone +1 800-677-7271 (toll free within North America) 7x24
They may ask you the installation number for your company as well, so it would speed things up if you already know that number.

Which password are you being prompted for? The password you created as a backup to the fingerprint unlock? Or the Google password which will be asked if you get the backup password for the fingerprint unlock incorrect too many times.
If you are unaware of either password then you won't be able to unlock the phone. These are security measures put in place by Google. If you have forgotten your Google account password then you'll need to completely reset the phone which means you'll lose everything off the handset.
f this is the case I'd suggest connecting your phone to a computer and transferring everything off you want to keep and then go ahead with a hard reset via the phone buttons.

On a Mac OS X version 10.4.11 and itunes 9.1.1. Can't update to itunes 10.6, Mac too old. Trying to get a previously purchased song. Can't use the purchased option under quick link - nothing shows up and won't let me purchase an already purchased song. What can I do?
If possible you need to upgrade OS X. However, what you can upgrade to is dependent on what your Mac hardware and configuration is which you have not provided in your profile.

I just purchased a software upgrade to OSX Lion. I received an e-mail that says, "To install your software, you simply launch the Mac App Store, click "Redeem"• found under Quick Links and enter your content code(s). How do I "launch the Mac App Store?"
Assuming you are running OS X 10.6.6 or later (10.7.x Lion, 10.8.x Mountain Lion or 10.9.x Mavericks), go to the Apple Menu (top left-hand corner of the screen)>App Store and it should become clear from there.

If you're running Mac OS X 10.6.6 or newer, click on the App Store icon in the Dock, go to its homepage if needed, and look at the sidebar on the right.
If you're running an older Mac OS X version, it needs to be updated or upgraded first.
