Missing ringtones since updating

I can't find my ringtones on my phone since updating to IOS 7. I've run a sync 3 times. Any thoughts?

I got it to work. First make sure you select to sync your "tones" on your phone options in iTunes. then I just keep "apply"ing the changes and restarted my phone and itunes after each round of "apply".It finally took after starting back up and syncing after the 2nd round of restarting. They will then show up as a seperate section under the "sounds" options, mine is on the top of the list, before the factory options.
Hopefully this helps someone.

Missing ringtones since iOS update

I am having trouble with two items I purchased on 19 November, two ringtones.
They were downloaded initially but since I did an iOS update they have gone.
I have done the "report a problem" button and then tried to re-download them by plugging the iPad into my laptop and downloading them again from iTunes. On the status bar it looked like it was doing it but after the sync was completed they are still nowhere to be found on the iPad...

No Notification LED Light for Missed Calls Since Update

I used to get a LED light notification when a call was missed. Now since the new "update" I no longer get the notification. Anyone else notice this? How do I get the LED notification light back?

This happened to mine right after updating, and was easily fixed by clearing the Cache of my texting and email apps. None of my LED indicators were working, but it's a simple fix. Just go into Settings -- Applications -- Manage Applications -- Select your texting and email apps, and select Clear Cache. That will also fix your call/voicemail notifications. No need to go buy an app.

Missing Notes since update to iOS5.01 & iCloud

After finally managing to get everything in sync & merging my notes I then found all notes in duplicate - so I went through mobileme & deleted them - AAAGH - it then synced & lost all my notes - many with important info on!!!
I have since reset my iphone on the device & restored from icloud last backed up yesterday when I know the Notes were there but it hasn't brought them back!!!
I am so totally frustrated with icloud - option seem to be there to 'backup now' (meaning copy data from device to icloud) but no option to restore backup from icloud to device!!!
Does anyone have any useful advice???
I've also tried restore from PC in iTunes (where summary tells me my last backup to PC was 7/11/11 - so I know all my notes were definitely there!) but with no satisfactory result.
Somebody please help.

Went through itunes and did a restore back to a previous date where the contacts were still there. Took HOURS to do it, but I did manage to get my contacts back. A word of warning, it may ask you for a password that you may have that is different from your Apple ID, this took me some time to figure out just by itself.
..... Now, If I can just figure out how to get my sounds to work again! 8.3 update is painful!

ICal missing events since update

Updated to Lion on my iMac and Macbook Air.
iCal on the Macbook Air is fine.
On the iMac, there are MANY events missing. How can I force a refresh from Mobile Me?

Nevermind. I went into preferences, deleated the account, and clicked on "Show All-Day Events." The combination seems to have fixed the problem.

Restoring Missing Ringtones After updating to iOS 8.1.2

Go To Safari on the device you are trying to get the ringtone and go to the website "iTunes.com/restore-tones"

This did not work on my iPhone 6. I keep getting "Your tones were not affected", even though a month ago the ringtone that disappeared was my default ringtone on this iPhone 6. As far as I'm concerned, iOs 8.1.2 is a complete fiasco.

Random reset of ringtone volume since update to 2.0

Since updating to 2.0 my ringtone volume level, which I keep on the hightest level, will randomly reset to mid-level, causing me to miss a number of calls. Anyone else notice this and is there a solution?

My 1st gen iphone (16GB) is up to the same antics. Pre 2.0 all was perfect. Then then update... During calls, if you adjust the volume for either the iphone earpiece, speaker phone, or bluetooth headset (I'm using the Plantronics voyager 520, which was purchased at the apple store), the ringer volume gets adjusted as well.
Just go into the sounds option under settings, make a call, and watch in awe as you adjust your call volume and ringer volume at the same time.
I've missed calls b/c the volume resets it self to a lower (random) setting. Now I must check after every call. The best part is if you push up on your volume button while at the home screen (the ringer volume pop up appears) and note that you have it on the highest setting, go ahead and check the sound option under settings. It will be at some random lower level. Oh my phone never did this on 1.4. I do hope the engineers are reading this and release a fix ASAP. The main purpose of the iPhone is to be a phone. Missing calls due to a low ringer volume is crazy.
Oh, I've already restored, don't bother, problem was not resolved. I haven't come across any other problems with the 2.0 update.

Ringtone changed since update. Can't get it back.

I bought a ringtone, and it's still titled as the song. However it's a standard ringtone since the update. I have chosen and unchosen the tone to listen to it, but it's still not my purchased ringtone. How do I get it back?

Really sorry to hear about this, particularly when you're putting your life on the line. But Apple cannot track your iPhone in any way unless you had set up Find My iPhone prior to it being lifted.
It's possible that AT&T might be able to do something, but it's probably that they cannot track it, or will not without a request from an authorized law enforcement agency, but rather would only disable the device. You'll have to try and find a way to contact AT&T directly and ask if they can do anything to help you; the chances of any AT&T employee in a position to help you spotting this thread it pretty small.

HT204291 Since updating to OSX Mavericks, my airplay icon is missing

Since updating to OSX Mavericks my airplay icon is missing from my IMac (3.06GHZ). However, it is present and working completely appropriately on my Macbook Pro with Retina display. Both have the same OSX, Apple TV is fully updated. I have reset my computers, appleTV, routers, iTunes multiple times, but it's just my IMac that is having the problems displaying the Airplay icon. Not sure what else can be done or why one computer works while the other doesn't when the settings are otherwise the same. Airplay worked on it without problem before the patch.

1) open control panel.
2)Choose Network and internet
3)Select the VIEW NETWORK STATUS TASKS under NETWORK and SHARING CENTER section
4) Choose the active network connection. It is usually name " wireless Network Connection 1" or something similiar.
5) Click the properties button
6) If the Internet PROTOCOL VERSION 6(TCP/IPv6) is checked, uncheck it, then click OK.
7) Click CLOSE
8) Restart iTunes and try to use the Home Sharing feature again.

Since updating to 10.4.11, Mail missing some enabled fonts

Since updating my G4 desktop to OS 10.4.11, when an incoming email uses Arial Narrow, Mail instead displays characters from one of the symbol fonts. However, Arial Narrow IS enabled in Font Book, it shows up correctly everywhere else, but the font does not even appear in Mail's font list. When I look at the same email on my MacBook (running Leopard), it displays fine.

Since updating, the inning markers are missing on MLB.tv

Actually the Licensing information for the package is missing hence it is not launching any applications. You need to Reserialize the products using APTEE which you can find it on the Machine where you have created the package. If you dont have the access to that Machine then please download and install Creative Cloud Packager and it will download APTEE in the below mentioned location.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\CCP\utilities
Once downloaded please follow this KB article to use the Tool.

Since updating to 3.6.1 I don't get an empty browser window in my tool bar whe. it opens --- just a list of search engines. I can't find anything in "Help" or the FAQ's that seem to address this. My only choice seems to go back to Safari.

I am not sure what your problem is, can you give more details.
One possibility is you may be in full screen mode, for details on fixing that see the [[menu bar is missing]] article.
If you are missing various toolbar items, see the [[back and forward or other toolbar items are missing]] article.
If your problem is something else please give more details.
