  • I downloaded Adobe CS5.5 Master Suite: Missing Setup File

    I don't know what to do. My school issued free issue (legally) of Adobe CS5.5 Master collection. I downloaded the whole thing through my Adobe Downloader, but now it is saying that I am missing the setup file. What can I do?

    It seems that the package might be corrupt due to which you are getting the missing file error.
    Consider re-downloading the package.
    You can download from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs5-5-direct-download-links.html
    But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.

  • Missing setup statements when exporting to java source code

    We are moving from Toplink 9i to Toplink 10g. (I know, we're a little behind the times). I saved the project in 10g checked to make sure all the settings were the same as in the 9i project. When I export the project to java source code, we're missing the following configuration setup statements.

  • Missing Setup Utility

    I need to monitor ink levels in my Deskjet D4160, but evidently need HP's Printer Setup Utility for Mac OS 10.7, which is not on my computer. If I ever had it, it's disappeared.
    I've searched HP's site for a download and can't find one. Mac's Software Update says all my software is up-to-date.
    Can anybody tell me how I can get one?

    Hi @pbrissett,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
    I noticed that you are missing a setup utility to monitor your ink levels for your HP Deskjet D4160 on Mac OS X 10.7. I am happy to help!
    According to this guide, Setting Up the Printer OS X v10.7 Lion in for HP Printers. This printer is using the built-in driver for the Mac OS X 10.7 Operating System, and there is no HP Full Feature Software and Drivers for this printer, for this Operating System.
    If you need to check your ink levels, you can print a self-test report:
    Make sure that plain white paper is loaded in the input tray.
    Press and hold the Power button ().
    While holding the Power button, press the Photosmart Express button ().
    Release both buttons. The self-test report prints.
    Hope this information helps!

  • Missing setup.exe for production and web premium

  • %PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\Common Files\microsoft shared\OFFICE15\Office Setup Controller missing setup.exe

    Hello everyone.  I'm told that I can run a repair of Office 2013 via the following command line pointing to a repair config xml we made and placed on a server.  Only problem is that my machines don't have a setup.exe in that path.  Did the
    path where setup.exe is located change or something?
    %PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\Common Files\microsoft shared\OFFICE15\Office Setup Controller\setup.exe /repair ProPlus /config \\server\share\RepairConfig.xml

    Is your Office a Click-To-Run version or a MSI (traditional) version? If it’s a MSI version, setup.exe should be there. If it’s a Click-To-Run version, then you should not find any file called setup.exe there in that path.
    For Click-To-Run version of Office, you should run the Office Deployment Tool and provide a custom Configuration.xml configuration file. The Office Deployment Tool performs the tasks that are specified by using the optional properties in
    the configuration file. For details about Office Deployment Tool for Click-to-Run, please refer to this article:

  • PD 1600,Missing Setup.exe

    Hi
    I recently reformatted my HP Pocket Media Drive without saving the PMD Folder. So now have lost my Setup.exe file.
    My drive is useless now as I can't access it in any way.
    Please help, is there any way to get this file as HP has told me I am S.O.L.
    Thank you in advance
    Markysvette

    No Setup is required to make the PMD work, thie setup is either for the Backup program or a little applet to help crete folders for Media Center.The PMD can work out of the box with Windows USB drivers only.
    When the PMD is connected, are you getting anything any indication in the task bar in the Safely Remove icon? You might need to go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Disk Management to see how your computer is dealing with the PMD. Sometimes there might be a second disk trying to get the same Drive letter.
    Cheers,

  • Missing setup assistant

    I bought a time capsule.  I've hooked it to the internet WAN to modem via ethernet.  I've hooked it to my macbook pro via ethernet.  I've hooked it to my printer via USB.  I turned the time capsule on.  I opened airport utility which made me make up a password.  And that was all.  It didn't open the setup assistant, and I can't find how to setup for the first time (everything just says it should open automatically).  I'm useless on computers (especially apple).  Please help - in simple language.  Thanks

    You can download the previous 5.6 version and install it next to the V6 one just change the name a bit.
    No, it won't install on Mountain Lion.
    It will run on Mountain Lion, though.  If you have a Lion installation, you can install it there, then just copy it to ML.  If not, you can use the Pacifist app to extract it from the download on ML.
    The name is Airport Utility 5.6.1, so you don't have to rename it to put it in the same folder as Airport Utility.

  • Missing Setup CD for PSUS4

    I am trying to use my PSUS4 print server, but can't find the setup CD. I've tried searching the linksys site to download the setup wizard, but it isn't there. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can setup my print server without the disk or where I can download the setup wizard? Thanks!!!

    Connect the print server to the router with the Ethernet cable.
    Connect the printer to the print server with the USB cable. Power cycle the print server.
    First you will need to find the IP address of your print server and assign a static IP address.  Follow this link to assign static IP address to the print server.
    Once you assign a static IP address to your print server, you need to configure the printer port on your computer.
    What is the operating system on your computer?
    Follow this link to configure printer port on windows Vista computer.

    1. Connect your Camera to a computer, click on the Start button >>> Settings >>> Control Panel >>> Network Connections - Right click on the icon for Local area connection and go to properties- On the 'General' tab select 'Internet Protocol TCP/IP' and click on the Properties button- Select 'Use the following IP address'- Provide IP Address - 192.168.1.5, Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0...Click on Ok button to Save and Click on "Close" on main Properties window...
    2. Now open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type - 192.168.1.115.
    Use admin for both Username & Password in lower case...It should open your Camera set-up...
    3. Once you get to the set-up page you can follow this link to change the Camera Settings...While changing the Camera settings you have to make sure that the Wireless Settings(SSID/Network Name and WEP/WPA Key) are identical on both the devices(router and camera)...Also make sure to change the camera's default IP to match your network and Gateway Address should be your router's address...ex. Camera's IP Address : 192.168.1.115(assuming your router's default address is 192.168.1.1), Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1.
    4. After configuring the Camera you should disconnect it from the Computer and go into Local Area Connection TCP/IP Properties and set it back to Obtain IP Address Automatically...Disconnect the Camera from the computer and power cycle both the devices(Camera and Router)...Your camera should be configured...
    In case if you don't get the Camera set-up just leave it connected to your computer and reset it for 30 seconds...

  • [SOLVED] Asus 900 : ALSA plays sound, but microphone doesn't work

    Hi,
    This week I installed Arch Linux (kernel 3.1.8-1-ARCH) on my Asus 900 with HDA Intel Realtek ALC662 rev1 sound card. The wiki and google and existing forum posts have been good for most issues, but I'm stumped on ALSA configuration. So here's my first forum post for advice.
    I configured sound OK following advice in the wiki and twiddling settings with alsamixer, through both the internal speaker and through the headphones, but I can't get internal or external microphone to work. I'm testing with:
    arecord -d 3 junk.wav
    then when I play back via:
    aplay junk.wav
    there is only soft static (with audible soft clicks at the start and end).
    (Other files like /usr/share/sounds/alsa/Front_Center.wav play fine.)
    alsamixer recognizes and reports my HDA Intel card, Realtek ALC662 rev1.
    https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Alsa has several suggestions of options for the snd-hda-intel module.
    Different pages suggest different places, which was confusing until I discovered that they can go in any file in /etc/modprobe.d so I'm putting them in /etc/modprobe.d/snd-hda-intel.conf .
    I added
    options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1
    with no luck.
    I have tried various model=XXX parameters (based on many suggestions found googling for Asus 900, alsa, ALC662, etc problems):
    options snd-hda-intel model=auto
    options snd-hda-intel model=asus
    options snd-hda-intel model=asus-laptop
    options snd-hda-intel model=laptop
    options snd-hda-intel model=ref
    options snd-hda-intel model=asus-mode1
    options snd-hda-intel model=asus-mode2
    options snd-hda-intel model=asus-mode8
    and I do
    rmomd snd-hda-intel && modprobe snd-hda-intel
    after each modification, which makes a little click in the speakers as the module is restarted.
    I don't know what the differences between asus-mode1, asus-mode2 etc are supposed to be - I've failed to find clear documentation about them, but AFAIK they seem to be the only valid model choices, unlike stuff like laptop, asus, etc.
    I find asus-mod1 etc at https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/ … _realtek.c and various other webpages.
    I found they vary the items presented by alsamixer but none of the 8 asus-modeN values helped me get the mic working. (The only obvious change was asus-mode8 made my headphone stop working, unlike asus-mod1 through asus-mod7.)
    I looked at /var/log/kernel.log when doing the snd-hda-intel module reload for various values of model= and they all look similar to this:
    snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1b.0: PCI INT A disabled
    snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1b.0: PCI INT A -> GSI 16 (level, low) -> IRQ 16
    snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1b.0: irq 43 for MSI/MSI-X
    snd_hda_intel 0000:00:1b.0: setting latency timer to 64
    hda_code: ALC662 rev1: BIOS auto-probing
    input: HDA Digital PCBeep as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1b.0/input/input24
    input: HDA Intel Mic as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1b.0/sound/card0/input25
    input: HDA Intel Headphone as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1b.0/sound/card0/input26
    (Note the emphasized line about BIOS auto-probing only comes up when not using model= or when trying various suggested model values that don't seem to be actually defined for ALC662, e.g. stuff like model=asus, etc.)
    Here's a list of alsamixer settings I used for various models. (Note I also tried muting and raising various higher boost levels, and when there's an Internal Mic or F-Mic item I tried various combinations. The following are just what seem the most plausible settings to me.)

    Has anyone got sound recording working on an Asus 900 with HDA Intel Realtek ALC662 rev1 ...?
    Thanks for any help! (And for feedback whether this post gave too much info or not enough, or other suggestions for posting such requests. Sorry if this was too long, but it seemed better to err on the side of too much info...)

    Hello,
    I don't have your soundcard but maybe the following information is helpful, though:
    Install the linux-docs package, then you have some information about your soundcard drivers in "/usr/src/linux-*/Documentation/sound/alsa/". Exspecially "HD-Audio.txt" and "HD-Audio-Models.txt" might be important. In the Models file it is stated that just the "asus-mode*" are legitimate model parameters for your soundcard and in the HD-Autio.txt file it is more or less said that trial and error the modules is the way to go to find the "correct module". Further there is a section
    Capture Problems
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The capture problems are often because of missing setups of mixers.
    Thus, before submitting a bug report, make sure that you set up the
    mixer correctly.  For example, both "Capture Volume" and "Capture
    Switch" have to be set properly in addition to the right "Capture
    Source" or "Input Source" selection.  Some devices have "Mic Boost"
    volume or switch.
    When the PCM device is opened via "default" PCM (without pulse-audio
    plugin), you'll likely have "Digital Capture Volume" control as well.
    This is provided for the extra gain/attenuation of the signal in
    software, especially for the inputs without the hardware volume
    control such as digital microphones.  Unless really needed, this
    should be set to exactly 50%, corresponding to 0dB -- neither extra
    gain nor attenuation.  When you use "hw" PCM, i.e., a raw access PCM,
    this control will have no influence, though.
    It's known that some codecs / devices have fairly bad analog circuits,
    and the recorded sound contains a certain DC-offset.  This is no bug
    of the driver.
    So check your mixer,  here and here are nice tutorials.
    Greetings
