Missing Sites

I have been running Dreamweaver CS4 for about 8 weeks on the
latest version of Mac OSX. Twice during this period I have reopened
Dreamweaver and all my sites are gone. The first time I manually
recreated all the sites and now it has occurred again. I have about
50 sites so recreating them manually is a problem.
Is there any way of recovering the site definitions? It
appears that all the site cache files still exist. Or is the
alternative to uninstall Dreamweaver CS4 and go back to CS3

EXPORTING the site definitions from Site Manager after you
have created them
is a good way to protect yourself from this. Save them in a
safe location
and if you need to you can IMPORT them into DW again.

  • Missing site bar on iphoto(7.5.1)

missing site bar on iphoto version 7.5.1 (events, flag, create and more are all missing)

A good general step for strange issues is to renew the iPhoto preference file - quit iPhoto and go to "your user name" ==> library ==> preferences ==> com.apple.iPhoto.plist and trash it - launch iPhoto which creates a fresh new default preference file and reset any personal preferences you have changed and if you have moved the iPhoto library repoint to it. This may help
This does not affect your photos or any database information (keywords, faces, places, ratings, etc) in any way - they are stored in the iPhoto library - the iPhoto preference file simply controls how iPhoto works - which is why renewing it is a good first step.

  • Visual Upgrade to 2013 - Missing Site Templates for ITTEAM and PROJSING

I've been working on Upgrading some old WSS 3 sites to SharePoint 2013.   I Have been able to get all of them imported to SharePoint 2010,and then have imported them all to my Sharepoint 2013 server. Now at the to of all of my sites is the  Experience
all that SharePoint 2013 has to offer. Start
    now or Remind
me later tag line.  I Click the Start Now option and it goes though its Checks and comes back with:
    Missing Site Templates
The following sites are using templates that are not yet supported after upgrade:
    http://<site>/it/Projects - ITTEAM#0
    http://<site>/it/webservices - PROJSING#0
I understand that those Fab 40 Templates are no longer available to create in 2013, though what can I do with the Existing content that I have? Seems wrong to Leave it at the 2010 Visual Representation.
For this one Sharepoint Site I could recreate the 2 Webs. Though on another Sharepoint site there are 123 sub sites with the sa,e two templates. I can't Abandon them.  Is there a way to convert them to a new template first?  How can I do the Upgrade
and keep my content? If I have to use a new template for new sin sites, I'm fine, I just don't want to lose what I have.
    Thanks!

    Hi  Scooter,
For upgrading Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 to SharePoint 2013, you can refer to the steps as below:
    1.First upgrade:
Upgrade the content to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007
    http://www.fpweb.net/support/microsoft-sharepoint/tutorials/wss-to-moss-migration/
    2.
Second upgrade: Upgrade the content to SharePoint Server 2010 Products
If your environment is SharePoint 2007 32 bit, you need to upgrade your SharePoint 2007 32 bit to SharePoint 2007 64 bit firstly.

  • Missing Sites folder - apache

I have had a few problems with the apache built into mac but I think I am closer to the answer, I think I have some how deleted the user/yorkichadwick/Sites folder which is why I get site not found on server.
The Sites folder is still there but I realised all this when I did a ls -ld ~/Sites/
    and I was told
ls: /Users/yorkiechadwick/Sites/: No such file or directory
How can I replace this missing directory?

Thank you, I had been getting advice from so many forums and really thought I had screwed up apche until today when I came acroos this error. I till had a sites folder but it wasn't working who would have thought that such a simple solution would be to create a new sites folder and just shift the files. It is a miracle it worked. So much for all the command line, terminal tapping investigation everyone had been pointing me to.

  • Nagging reminders about missing "Sites-n.rss" file

I've been playing around with iLife 08 in general and iWeb in particular. My main complaint is the color management (reported elsewhere), but there is also one issue that's driving me crazy: +every time+ I open iWeb, it gives me an error to the effect that file "Sites-n.rss" is missing (where "n" is an integer that is incremented every time I open iWeb). True enough, when I look inside the Domain file, I find no file beginning with "Sites-", but on the other hand, everything appears to be working, albeit a tad more slowly than I think it should.
Does anyone know what the "Sites.rss" file is? Is there a way to generate it and add it to wherever it has to be to stop this constant nagging?
    Any help appreciated.
    Daniel
    http://web.mac.com/dkiechle/

Try quitting iWeb, deleting the file < com.apple.iWeb > in Home Folder/Library/Preferences and relaunching.
If that doesn't do it, try the same again but this time do a restart of your Mac and run Disk Utility to repair permissions before launching iWeb.

  • Missing site of gifts after regestering CS6

After installing the new CS6 Design Standard I had a site with a range of free gifts a can choose from for registering but now I cannot go back to this, can you tell me where I will find it to choose it finnaly?

I am sorry Nezka_fe but there is not any product registration incentive offers available for that software license.  Acrobat 10 does have an offer available when it is purchased separately.  This is likely what has caused the confusion.  If you have additional inquiries I would recommend contacting our support team directly at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6.

  • Missing site parsing? Graphic sitemap tool?

I remember having seen (and used) a feature in DreamWeaver for parsing a whole site into the local computer, keeping the structure as original.
I have a wordpress site that I'd like to make into a graphic sitemap.
I can't do it from the files since it's everything into the database.
I'd like to replicate the site, as it's seen from client, into my local computer, but I CAN'T FIND THAT OPTION anymore in CS4.
Any ideas where it is or how can I create a sitemap (not file structure/hierarchy of server files but rather content seen by client) with another tool?
    thanks.

    Hi AGrush,

  • Missing site definition details in DW CS6 site manager

I have half a dozen web sites built with DW CS6, but suddenly none of them can be edited with the Site Manager.
For example the Servers tab of the Site Setup window appears as below . . .
Anyone help with how to restore this?
    I am using DW CS6 on OS X Lion, V 12, Build 5861
    Thanks folks

that option fails to allow a "save" function to occur
Do you mean there is no 'Save' button that shows up?
Anyway, its not very hard to reinstall. Backup your Site Prefs (that you'd probably already done yesterday).
Use http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html to clean all traces of Dreamweaver CS6 alone. In one of the options you'll have to choose clearly 'DW CS6' only or it will get rid of all CS6 instances. Beware here.
Once this is done, use your install media (CD/ DVD) or .dmg file (if you downloaded it from your Adobe Account to continue with the installation.
Let us know how it goes.

  • Site actions not showing

    Hi all,
The site actions have been taken off a website and are not showing even though I am logged on as a user with design and contribute permisssions. It only shows view all site content???
    Any guidance would be great.

    Hi Jameshen,
May be it could be site is locked, you need to unlock the site in the central admin. For that please refer the below link.

  • All site definitions gone in DW CS4

I'm using CS4 on a Mac running OS10.5.6. I accidentally removed one site, went into Time Machine and recovered it, then next time I started up CS4 ***all*** my sites are gone -- some 30 sites. I still have CS3 running (I have to support others here at work with older versions), so I can go and export some of the sites from CS3, but there are still many sites that were only built in CS4. Any idea on how to get these back? Is there a file I can restore from Time Machine that might contain that? I read the previous posts regarding missing site definitions, but they refer to the PC registry - not a solution for a Mac user. Help! Thanks for any suggestions.

You're a star, David! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • WBBDLD05 Segment E1WBB13 missing

    Hi All,
I am currently in process of Setting up new wholesale price lists, where in each pricelist represents a different country.
As required I have configured new company codes, reference sites, price list, partner profiles and performed article listing and extensions.
I have been been able to perform pricing in VKP5 on new price list and am able to generate assortment list change idoc and also idoc based on direct request. The only problem I am facing is the WBBDLD05 idoc that is getting created is missing E1WBB13 segment.
When I run the RWDBBUPD_HPR for an existing partner type (old) idoc is created with all the necessary segments including E1WBB13 segment, but for the same article when I run for new partner type (new pricelist refsite) all segments are created except for the E1WBB13 segment.
I am aware only MVKE and MARC are channel/site specific and requires extensions.
Article inforecord can be maintained for many access sequence
    Vendor-Article or Vendor-Article-Site etc.
In my case the the site is a pos reference site hence there should not be any article infor rec for this relation ship.
E1WBB13 segment is primarily for vendor details (based on relationships existing in EINA table and inforecord (suppliers). Since the article inforecord is already existing, then why is is not appearing?
    What I am missing out?
    A help will be appreciated.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Anirban Roy

Sorted the issue out back then myself.
Just to Close of this long open Query.
Config missing Site - Purchasing organization for the pos reference site.
    Maintained that Issue Resolved.
    Reason
Article related to POS Ref Site.
    Article Related to Vendor Master
    Vendor Associated to Purch Org.
Hence there is a requirement to associate Site - Purch Org for E1WBB13 segment in WBBDLD for the pos ref. site which was missing.
    Once done relationship completed.
    Bingo!!
    Thanks.

  • Migrating SP 2007 site which is using the template Project Workspace (Id 6215) to SP 2013

    Hi,
We have our SharePoint 2007 with project server installed on it. It is only one server having all of the components including SQL server and SP 2007. We are planning to migrate one of the site which is using the
Project Workspace Template(Id 6215)  to the SP 2013 environment using Database
    Attach Method.
    Questions:
    1) Is there any workaround available we can migrate the site to SP 2013 without
    installing project server?
    2) If there is no other workaround, we may need the justification or supports articles to share with our management.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys.
    Regards,
    Zulfiqar

    Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that the error occurred when you tested the database.
I recommend to check if the site template exists in the folder located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\1033\XML.
If yes, then restart the SharePoint machine and run the PowerShell command Test-SPContentDatabase again.
If not, please re-install the template to see if the issue still occurs.
If the sites with issue are no longer needed, then you can delete the sites with issue. Or you can
rename the site template with a standard template id.

  • When select "bookmark this page" for certain sites, window shows that it is all ready in a folder, which I cannot find

There seems to be folders in my bookmark library that I cannot locate, even when looking carefully through "show all bookmarks". When I select "bookmark this page" for one of the "missing" sites, it shows that it is all ready bookmarked in a particular folder. But I cannot find those folders!

Try reformatting it in Disk utility and make sure to erase the raw drive's 500GB and that it is HFS and set to GUID Partition Table.
Might want to bookmark the Lion Community, and also the MacBook Pro forum so when you do post, you are in the right areas.

  • Site Actions Menu randomly disappearing

    Hi,
We currently have a situation were the Site Actions menu/button randomly disappears for users that should have site owner permissions. The Site Actions menu will appear for a short while after assigning site owner permissions however will disappear shortly
after. The only way I'm able to get it to display again is to remove owner premissions from the user then re-add them again.
    Has anybody seen this behaviour?
    Further information:
    Using SharePoint 2010;
    Using Claims Authenication, Trusted Identity Provider ADFS;
    Thanks,
    Ben

    Hi Ben,
Please check whether there is a web part that is crashed on the site.
Whether this issue occurred for all users who have site owner permissions.
Please try to go to IE advance setting tab and reset the settings, compare the result.

  • Managing sites - site definitions

For an unknown reason, half of my sites are missing, all
sites below a certain site (after the letter M alphabetically).
Amounts to about 10 sites. I am a webdesigner and have about 20
sites. No newly installed software on the machine, the sites were
there yesterday, no windows updates. I have a backup from Monday
night of the entire drive. I have never done an "export". Does
anyone know how I might get these sites back? Where are the .ste
files stored? If I resore my windows to a previous date (as nothing
new has been installed) would that fix it if it is a registry
    problem? HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which DW are you using? This is a mysterious bug that has
    been with DW
since about DW4, but I have not seen appear in DW8.
    > I have never done an "export".
I'll bet you will now. I export a site definition each time I
    create a new
    one.
I'm afraid you will have to either roll back your Windows to
    a previous
restore point, or recreate those missing site definitions
    manually.
