Missing some letters in string
Well guys, I have one VI that I write some text at a string and I can read it from another VI.
Always works nice for me, but since some days ago... I start to have some problems
When I wrote a text like: "Hey, my name is Eduardo"
when I tryed to read in the other VI, it's missing some letters at the beggining
it's appearing like: "ame is Eduardo"
Some one know what is happening? Because I already tryed change the strings, replace for a new one.. but still the same!

Well, This VI is in LV 7.1
I use create a binary header to nominate the file...
It always work good, but since some days ago start to give me problems with the string that show the name of the file.
Yes, I tryed to duplicate the code, but I receive the same error, I'm starting to think about reinstall LV 7.1
maybe something happened I don't know... but if it always work and now start to have problems and I didn't change anything.

hello there! i am using Adobe acrobat pro DC and using windows 8.1. Recently I was trying to convert a web page (includes Greek letters) into PDF. I noticed that the conversion is not accurate, some words are missing, some are misplaced. Especially Greek words are not accurately converted or even not converted. How have you been trying to convert the web page to PDF?
Are you trying to convert to PDF directly via browsers or using "File > Create > PDF from Web Page" option in Acrobat.
Let me know more so that I can analyze where actually the issue persists.

When combine multiple PDFs into one, some letters are missing and display wrong letter
Hi all. I get a problem with combine multiple PDFs into a single PDF document. There are some PDF documents and they are working fine to open each document separately. But after I use Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard to combine them into one, some letters are missing and some display wrong letter (e.g. "forums" display "fo ums"). Our company has Adobe Acrobat 8 Standard, Adobe Acrobat 7 Professional and Standard. But all of them have some problem. Does anyone have idea for that? Please help me! Thanks very much!
I have a similar situation, but my PDFs look fine in Acrobat Pro 8,Acrobat Reader 8, and Apple preview, but are missing letters in Acrobat Pro 7. I think it stems from the files being combined all having the same font, but each having a unique subset stored in the respective files, but with the same name (and ID?), and when they are combined, the character sets are getting hosed somehow.

Some letters are missing when I open a PDF in Firefox. Works fine in other browsers.
When I open a PDF using Firefox, some letters in words that are printed across the document are missing. I believe the creator of the document used a text box to add "Draft" on it. The D is missing. Other words I have found are "Copy Non-negotiable" and the C is missing. These same PDFs open fine in IE and Chrome. Have experienced it on V22-V25. Using Windows7
Starting in Firefox 19, PDF files will display by default in a built-in viewer. This viewer does not yet support all of the features of the Adobe viewer, and may also have some bugs. Other than changing viewers, as described in the following article, I'm not sure what to suggest.

Adobe acrobat v9.4.7 - when combining PDF's some letters are missing

Adobe Acrobat v9.4.7. When viewing individual PDF's the letters are showing OK. Once we combine them (there are about 20 single pdf's that need combining) some letters are removed and it leaves behind a space.
Looks like 9.4.7 is the last update available for acrobat 9. Anyone had this issue before and what to do about it?Open your Printers (Control Panel > Printers)
Right Click on the PDF Printer and select Properties
Printing Preferences - Set the Default Settings to High Quality Print
Click Ok, Ok
That will set the default for all pdf's to embed fonts. -

Ke -board doesn`t write some letters

First of all, Welcome to the Discussions!
The first thing I would try, if you have not already, is try to get another keyboard and see if the problem persists with alternate keyboard.
Secondly, judging by your post above, it appears that some letters "miss" sometimes and not at other times. Perhaps it is just a problem with the repeat on the keys that you have set (System Preferences>Keyboard and Mouse>Keyboard tab. Try adjusting this.
Thirdly, the keys, on an Apple keyboard (post back if different keyboard) should pop off for cleaning. Perhaps they are just gummed up.
You also, can try setting up a "test" account to test if this is system wide or isolated to just your account.
Post back if none of this applies to your problem.

The solution was to remove all versions of Acrobat Pro and reinstall Acrobat Pro XI. I still had the download file in my Time Machine backup. That's a good thing, since the download link from the order listing on the Adobe website under my account would not work.
The problems don't occur with version 11.0.0. I got the work done, now I'm updating to 11.1.0 and will report if they came back. -

ITunes on my iPod Touch is missing some tabs
Can somebody help me?
I have:
+ iPod Touch 4th Generation 32GB
+ Wi-fi connection
+ iOS5 installed
iTunes on my iPod Touch is missing some tabs. The only tabs that's showing on my iTunes are Podcast, iTunes U, Search and Downloads
Also, whenever I try to load un Podcast tab, it ALWAYS say Your request could not be completed.
Thank you very much!Where exactly are the tabs that are showing, are they a list at the bottom of the page and next to it is the "More" option, or are you referring to the options on the More tab? You can move these options between the bottom of the page and the More section.
Is that the problem, or is there something else missing? (Perhaps it would have helped if you had mentioned what is missing). If it's the Apps section you are looking for, it has its own App button on the Home screen.
As for the problem with downloading Podcasts, I would try getting them in iTunes on your computer if you cannot download them via the Touch's Wi-Fi. -
Missing some basic functionality
I seem to be missing some basic functionality, like switching to tty1-n using Ctrl+Alt+F1-n. I can't begin to guess what this is related to, as after several installs I've never experienced that to be missing. Can anyone point me in the right directions? Thanks.

My iPad air is missing some apps from my phone. It keeps saying, " there is not enough storage available to download...." I purchased additional storage twice, my device now shows 18GB free of a total 25GB, and still I cannot download apps I've had for yrs
iCloud space is for backup only.
You need more local storage; free up space on iPad:
Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what is not needed to free up space on iPad. -

It's me first time ever using Premiere Pro CS3. I tried to some basic video editing on it, but I cannot hear any sound coming out of my laptop speakers; when i import the video clips. Even tho, I can hear them with "Windows Media Player". So, I investigated a bit and I did some of the things adviced by Adobe's knowledgebase thing.
And, I came up with a paper saying to download "MediaInfo" and "GSpot" to find out the codecs of the "mpg" files. Here is a report i made with the information given by those programs:

I just saw another post similar to this one, but it doesn't tell you how to make "Premiere Pro" get the audio to work in my clips and finished projectMost good file converters can handle Video and Audio. If you are having issues with the Audio, both Audition and SoundBooth can convert to almost anything and any sample rate and bit depth.
Here's a LINK to the PrPro Wiki. There are links to various aspects of conversion there.
Now, remember that when working FROM MPEG-2 and also AC3, the files are compressed to begin with. Quality will suffer, and there is only one way around that - go back to the original source files. If not possible, then you have to determine if the quality has suffered too much.

HP Stream 7 The boot configuration data file is missing some required information
I have an HP Stream 7 tablet. When I open it up it shows a blue screen with the error "The boot configuration data file is missing some required information." Can anyone help as I can't get into the tablet to solve the error!

Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand you're unable to boot up your Stream 7 tablet.
Try accessing the recovery partition by holding the volume down button and power button at the same time. Please excuse my ignorance, as exact information on accessing the recovery manager appears to be unavailable for this exact model. If the down button doesn't work, up should get you in.
Once in the recovery manager you should be able to select Troubleshoot > Startup repair.
If the startup repair does not fix the issue I would suggest trying the full system recovery option, which you should find under Troubleshoot > Advanced.
