Missing some menues on my AppleTV gen 1.

Apple recently opened up for renting of movies through iTunes Store on the Apple TV, but 3 menues are missing under the Film-tab; among them the Search menu. Any idea anyone?

Yes, I have tried both disconnecting/reconnecting to the iTunes Store (Norway), and removed cables (allthough removing ALL cables I don't see should have any effect. It should be sufficient to remove the powercord).
So what else could I try? I have contacted the iTues Store support, but they claim this is not an iTunes Store issue, but an AppleTV issue. However I have not been able to locate a support e-mail address for Apple TV support. Only a phone number with a high charge.

Configurator 3.1 does not add these missing items. Configurator can not get all the items of Photoshop, therefore, some of them are missing. I'm sorry for that.

AppleTV Gen 1 store issues after AppleTV Gen 3 installed

I am hoping the issues I am experiencing are hopefully minor and can be resolved. I recently installed my new AppleTV Gen 3 and the following I have experienced. Firstly I can only connect to the store through my AppleTV Gen 3 and purchased movies, if I want music it states I must sign up to the cloud. My biggest issue thou is after connecting my new AppleTV Gen 3 I can now no longer connect to the iTunes Store with my Apple TV Gen 1. For this reason I suspect any purchased items will no longer play on the Apple TV Gen 1. Is this device dying a slow death as determined by Apple with no support for the latest iTunes or is this a known issue and there is a working solution. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

AppleTV1 should still work. It will not however play newer 1080p HD purchases, nor can it access content from the cloud.
Some time ago I had issues playing newer content on AppleTV1 which was solved by buying a f r e e TV show episode from itunes on the AppleTV itself - seemed like some kind of authorisation issue.
Like you I am dismayed that AppleTV2 and 3 do not allow me to browse Music/Music videos in the store let alone play purchases form the cloud without itunes match subscription - these things should be separate.

Display missing out menu bar and part of dock

When I bought my computer I also got a mini display port to HDMI. At first it was missing some of the menu bar and dock and I turned underscan on and it was fine. I then unpluged it and the next time I plugged it in underscan is greyed out. I am using a samsung widescreen display. Can someone plz help me?

I think you accidentally hit CMD+Option+8, do it again, or open System Preferencess>Universal Access>Seeing & turn Zoom OFF.

I am still trying to understand my issue. I believe more and more than it is some kind of limits on password characters or complexity:

Nevertheless, they also speak about complex characters without detailing what it means.

I am still a little bit confused regarding which characters can be used. Apparently, lenght is not a problem for passcode and we can use some complex characters but considering I was using spaces " ", simple quote " ' ", " - ", puctuation " ! " and accentuated characters "é", I may have used an "unsuported" passcode.

Tap settings> general> reset> erase all content and settings...then you'll have a chance to setuo your phone again

ITunes on my iPod Touch is missing some tabs

Can somebody help me?
I have:
+ iPod Touch 4th Generation 32GB
+ Wi-fi connection
+ iOS5 installed
iTunes on my iPod Touch is missing some tabs. The only tabs that's showing on my iTunes are Podcast, iTunes U, Search and Downloads
Also, whenever I try to load un Podcast tab, it ALWAYS say Your request could not be completed.

Where exactly are the tabs that are showing, are they a list at the bottom of the page and next to it is the "More" option, or are you referring to the options on the More tab? You can move these options between the bottom of the page and the More section.
Is that the problem, or is there something else missing? (Perhaps it would have helped if you had mentioned what is missing). If it's the Apps section you are looking for, it has its own App button on the Home screen.
As for the problem with downloading Podcasts, I would try getting them in iTunes on your computer if you cannot download them via the Touch's Wi-Fi.

Missing some basic functionality

I seem to be missing some basic functionality, like switching to tty1-n using Ctrl+Alt+F1-n. I can't begin to guess what this is related to, as after several installs I've never experienced that to be missing. Can anyone point me in the right directions? Thanks.

Could you please let me know if you have tried converting other web pages to PDF and checked if the same issue persists.
How have you been trying to convert the web page to PDF?
Are you trying to convert to PDF directly via browsers or using "File > Create > PDF from Web Page" option in Acrobat.
Let me know more so that I can analyze where actually the issue persists.

Why is someone's iPad trying to access an AirPlay code on my AppleTV- Gen 2?
My wireless router is password protected.
I've even changed the AppleTV's identity from "living room" to something personal so that the individual isn't confused finding their own?
For a couple of days my iPad and computer were off and it still happened around the same time as well!
I thought in order to use AirPlay one has to be connected to my wireless network. I may be impatient for results, but last night I've refreshed my Netgear router in order to create a new pass phrase, password, hid my wireless network from others and such. I mean we just moved in our apartment 4 days ago, can someone really steal our router username and password that quickly!

I would suggest doing a restore of your Apple TV from recovery mode.

And maybe put a password on your Apple TV. Also try changing the name of your Apple TV to something non-generic.

AIrplay is not supported on 1st gen, I assume you have a 2nd gen (black box). Not all apps are enabled for AirPlay, this would be up to the developers to do

You need more local storage; free up space on iPad:
Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what is not needed to free up space on iPad.

It's me first time ever using Premiere Pro CS3. I tried to some basic video editing on it, but I cannot hear any sound coming out of my laptop speakers; when i import the video clips. Even tho, I can hear them with "Windows Media Player". So, I investigated a bit and I did some of the things adviced by Adobe's knowledgebase thing.
And, I came up with a paper saying to download "MediaInfo" and "GSpot" to find out the codecs of the "mpg" files. Here is a report i made with the information given by those programs:

P.S. 2. I just saw another post similar to this one, but it doesn't tell you how to make "Premiere Pro" get the audio to work in my clips and finished project

Most good file converters can handle Video and Audio. If you are having issues with the Audio, both Audition and SoundBooth can convert to almost anything and any sample rate and bit depth.
Here's a LINK to the PrPro Wiki. There are links to various aspects of conversion there.
Now, remember that when working FROM MPEG-2 and also AC3, the files are compressed to begin with. Quality will suffer, and there is only one way around that - go back to the original source files. If not possible, then you have to determine if the quality has suffered too much.

HP Stream 7 The boot configuration data file is missing some required information

I have an HP Stream 7 tablet. When I open it up it shows a blue screen with the error "The boot configuration data file is missing some required information." Can anyone help as I can't get into the tablet to solve the error!

Welcome to the HP forums.
I understand you're unable to boot up your Stream 7 tablet.
Try accessing the recovery partition by holding the volume down button and power button at the same time. Please excuse my ignorance, as exact information on accessing the recovery manager appears to be unavailable for this exact model. If the down button doesn't work, up should get you in.
Once in the recovery manager you should be able to select Troubleshoot > Startup repair.
If the startup repair does not fix the issue I would suggest trying the full system recovery option, which you should find under Troubleshoot > Advanced.
