Missing stacks - unable to create
My computer seems to never have had stacks.
Just read about them in the DOWNLOADS STACK article about Snow Leopard.
I tried control click and other ways of copying Downloads, Documents and Applications, but nothing works.
It says to put iin 'RIGHT SIDE OF DOC"... WHICH one has to assume means IF the doc is at the bottom, the trash can in on the right. Trying to put it there puts it in the trash can. trying to put it to the left of the trash can does not work. trying to put it in the doc just lwft of that divider to the trash also does not work
so how does one get them in the doc (which I will then relocate to the left side)
I've read every answer so far I could find and no solution.
maybe it's just better to let well enough alone?
Step one is to log into a newly created admin user account and see if the problem persists.

I am trying to configure an authentication provider with ant using the wlconfig task. This has been working fine until recently and I have no idea what could be wrong. The ant script has not changed and I'm not sure what information to post to be more useful. Hopefully someone has had this problem or can point me in the right direction.
Below is the target I'm trying to run. I fails with the following exception. I am able to configure the provider manually through the console, however, but this is not an option for our deployments:
Caused by: weblogic.management.MBeanCreationException: Unable to create new bean of type com.xxx.MyAuthenticator for myDomain:Name=myDomain,Type=Domain:missing create method
Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: MyAuthenticator(java.lang.String,)
<target name="configure-auth-provider">
<echo message="Configuring Security Auth Provider..."/>
<taskdef name="wlconfig" classname="weblogic.ant.taskdefs.management.WLConfig" classpath="${weblogic.jar}"/>
<wlconfig url="t3://${weblogic.host}:${weblogic.listen.port}" username="${weblogic.username}" password="${weblogic.password}">

</target>Hi Balaji,
LSMW using IDOC is similar to using flat file method. Here you are getting data from IDOC container and mapping data with Idoc segments insted of flatfile column.
Hope this is what you are looking for. If helpful then dont forget to reward me for that

Embedded OC4J startup time: 29125 ms.I did what Manu suggested with no success. Alternatively, I registered the driver jar with embedded OC4J preferences > global > libraries. Still does not work. Please, note, that when I run JUnit tests against my BC4J application modules with JDBC URL as connection type, everything works just fine. The problem comes while running the JSF application when the application module is using JDBC DataSource as connection type.

Error during BCC base data import: Unable to create class DeploymentServer
Unable to create class atg.deployment.server.DeploymentServer for configuration /atg/epub/DeploymentServer java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError
Hello~~~. Can anyone point me into the right direction
I had checked my class path it got atg.deployment.server.DeploymentServer.
and the 'legacy' /atg/epub/DeploymentServe looks like (which is doing nothing...really)
#/atg/epub/DeploymentServer/
#/atg/epub/DeploymentServer property allowMissingNonEssentialAgents is set to true. By default, this property is set to false. If set to false, unessential agents are treated like essential agents and must be online and functional during deployment.
#All agents that are flagged as essential are online and functional.

Unable to Load Database/Unable to create database.
RoboHelp 6.0 on my PC is suddenly unable to open existing
projects or create new ones. The problem is not in the projects, as
other people can unzip the same set of files and open them with
RoboHelp on their PCs.
The Details:
When attempting to open an existing project (any project
whether in version control or not), I get the message " Open
project was cancelled or the application was unable to load
database for..."
I found the article that says to delete the CPD and XPJ files
and then to use the Edit option to open the HHP file so that
RoboHelp will recreate the two files. When I try that, I get the
message "Unable to create database. Check that the directory is not
read-only." It's
not read-only.
When I attempt to create a new project, the application acts
like it is going to create one, but it just creates a project
folder without the new first topic and then repeats the New Project
Wizard window that prompts for title, etc. It will keep creating
folders and returning to this window in a loop without ever really
creating a project.
RoboSource Control is functioning normally, by the way.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled RH 6 several times, and
have even uninstalled RH 6 and installed to RH 5 just to see if it
could open projects, which it does with no problems. After that
test, I uninstalled RH 5 and reinstalled RH 6, only to encounter
the same problem all over again.
This started happening after I uninstalled other unrelated
software and received a message that some Service Pack 2 files had
been changed and prompting me to insert the Service Pack 2 CD,
which I don't have. This is because our IT department pre-builds
our systems from an image and then distributes job-specific
applications over the network. IT tried repairing Service Pack 2,
but that didn't work. I'd like to uninstall and reinstall Service
Pack 2, but the IT person says it's too risky on a system that was
built from an image.
We would like to find out
which files RoboHelp is looking for when it launches a
project so we can replace those files manually. Does anyone
know what they are or have another suggestion that might fix the
problem?
Otherwise, I am stuck having to allow IT to rebuild my
system. That means reinstalling and reconfiguring everything on it,
just as if I were upgrading to a new PC. This can take a whole work
week. However, I have already spent close to a work week on this
problem, so maybe rebuilding would save time in the long
run.Problem Resolution = HHA.dll
For anyone who might be interested in the resolution to this
issue, we did rebuild my PC and reinstall all of my software. The
RoboHelp installation "complained" that I did not have HTML Help
Workshop on my system and told me to download version 1.4 from
Microsoft. I did have HTML Help Workshop..it's in my programs list.
(It's not listed in programs on my co-workers' PCs, and they were
not having problems, by the way.) But to make RH happy, I
uninstalled the workshop and tried to install the version from
Microsoft. But a message informed me that I already had a newer
version of the workshop on my system, and I was back where I
started. I could open projects, but there were weird problems.
Selecting Topic Properties was met with an error message, and when
the properties window opened, I could only see whatever template
was assigned (or none if the topic had lost its template), and
there was an extra section for Oracle help.
So I started dinking around in the registry to see if I could
get rid of any traces of the workshop so I could install the
version RH wanted or to find any other clues to my problem. Under
HTMLHelpAuthor, there was a reference to an HHA.dll file located in
C:\WINDOWS\system32...only the file did not exist on my system.
(Remember that my original problem was that some Service Pack 2
files were either modified or missing.) So I did a Google search on
that file name and found out that HTML Help Workshop is included in
newer Windows operating systems, but that people used to have to
get HTML Help Workshop from Microsoft, and that some people had
made the mistake of just putting the HHA.dll file into the
C:WINDOWS\system32 folder without also installing HTML Help
Workshop. At this point it was obvious that I needed the HHA.dll,
so I got it from a co-worker's PC. (Looking at the registry
entries, I can also see that my system was built with a slightly
different version of the operating system than my co-workers have.)
Adding the HHA file to my system solved the problem. All
projects but one were fine; one was still exhibiting the strange
behavior. I fixed it by going back to the RoboHelp 5 version of the
project and re-converting it to RoboHelp 6.
I suspect that if I had known about the HHA.dll file before
we rebuilt the PC, I could have solved the problem without going
through that painful process. That is why I thought I should post
the solution even though it was after the rebuild. -
Unable to create report. Query produced too many results
Hi All,
Does someone knows how to avoid the message "Unable to create report. Query produced too many results" in Grid Report Type in PerformancePoint 2010. When the mdx query returns large amount of data, this message appears. Is there a way to get all

Unable to create Disc Image from DVD
I get the following error when trying to make a copy of a family wedding DVD. I'm using Disc Utility and creating the image as a DVD/CD master (.cdr) file. It gets to about 3/4 of the way and then gives the following error.
The internal drive is a PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K05

Creating Image “Wedding of xxx & xxx.cdr”
Reading VOLUME_IDENTIFIER (Apple_UDF : 0)...
Unable to create “Wedding of Sarah & Federico.cdr” - Input/output error.
I've tried twice now and the same error. Looks like I might have to use Toast/Popcorn etc?
Thanks,
Darren
iMac G5 2.1GHz 1Gb RAM 260Gb HDD Mac OS X (10.4.7)I do not know what that error means. However, if you open up the Disk Utility & go into it's Help Menu & in the search field type duplicating a CD or DVD. There you will find detailed instructions on how to create a disc image from a DVD.
Good possibility your answer may be found there and/or there may have been something you missed in creating a disc image.
Good luck. -

SOAP unable to create a socket after OS upgrade OS/400 V5R4 to V7R1
Hello,
after we upgraded our OS from System i V5R4 to V7R1 we have problems with our SOAP adapters.
In the runtime workbench and also in the SXMB_MONI the following error occured:
SOAP: call failed: java.io.IOException: unable to create a socket
Message-Verarbeitung fehlgeschlagen. Grund: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.io.IOException: unable to create a socket
Before the OS upgrade the adapter rans without any errors and we tested the connection to the partner
with an system running V5R4 with success. So it seems to be an error that came with the OS upgrade.
Any idea? Had any one the same error after migration to V7R1? Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
MatthiasHello,
we found out that the error is attached to DNS and Java stack. Our ABAP stack can set the url to the correct IP adress, if we configure a entry in SM59. Also the java stack calls our partner over SOAP with IP adress, but not with url. The urls are stored in the local host table, so we suppose that the java stack doesn't use the local dns table and doesn't ask our dns server for the right ip adress.
Does anybody know this issue? The only change we did is upgrade OS/400 from V4R4 to V7R1. If a mod see this, I think it make sence to move this thread into the forum SAP on DB2 UDB for i5/OS (DB4). Thank's.

Unable to create node /home/ SID adm with type directory
I am currently experiencing a problem when trying to install a Java Stack onto my new SCM 7.0 EHP1 server.
I receive the error:
System call failed. Error 89......mkdir..../home/djdadm....
(djd is the SID of my new Java AS)
This is followed by an error:
Unable to create node /home/djdadm with type directory
We have Solaris v10 (SPARC), and the ABAP stack has already been installed successfully.
The user djdadm was created manually on solaris before starting the installation (assigned to groups sapsys, dba, sapinst + oper) and the home directory "/usr/sap/DJD/home" was specified.
Note the difference in the home directory that it is trying to create to the one that we set against the new user djdadm.
This error is experienced quite early in when SAPINST is performing the tasks (and it stops at the Create users for SAP system stage).
I was experiencing a problem where SAPINST crashed completely for a while, so I've downloaded the latest version of SAPINST today. Also, I've set a new TEMP folder and am running SAPINST from there, but am stuck at the problem mentioned above.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Alistair CrawshawHello,
It looks like a Solaris issue. Check if the home directory /home is reserved in the Solaris configuration.
You may try this in that case:
1. modify /etc/auto_master file to change the entry for '/home' to say
'/autohome' instead
2. reboot
3. rmdir /home
4. ln -s /export/home /home (make sure /export/home exists)

Unable to create a secure connection to this serve...
Hello,
When i try to connect Turkish free wireless network TTnet Wifi, i am having "unable to create a secure connection to this server" error. The network connection trying to open an https log in page to connect internet. (in normally after the push connect button on that page, the network connection becomes available for internet.) All notebook and iphone or other mobile / computer devices can connect to internet with this network, but not nokia 5800 (and maybe other nokia devices with same browser)
I have tried with other browsers like skyfire or opera but no luck because after the connect ttnet wifi network, device opens default browser for log in page, and it gives error. I have also tried wefi too.
I think there is a bug or missing features with default browser. If you have any comments or suggestions please write.
Thanks.I have tried to change default browser from default apps. but no chance, it shows only WEB for browsers, but i have all browsers installed (opera, opera mini, skyfire etc...) isnt there any chance to change default browser?

Unable to create a new Message Layout : 500 attempts failed.
I am getting this error " Unable to create a new Message Layout : 500 attempts failed." when I am trying to add my custom region to seeded Message Layout.
Is that all the error message you are getting or java error stack is also there? It looks like a custom message as I couldn't find it in fnd messages. DO you have any other custom code on this page or is this a custom page?

SOAP Receiver java.io.IOException: unable to create a socket
Hi All,
I have scenario where i invoke a external webservice (over internet) using SOAP adapter. I can reach the external target as they see my traffic on firewall but i always get:
com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: java.io.IOException: unable to create a socket
I cannot find any logs which provide more information on this. I have imported all the clients certificates into my J2EE keystore (webservice is over HTTPS). Any suggestions on where better logs can be found would be appreciated. So far checked RWB and the default trace log.
Since my certificates arent in ABAP stack I cant use SM59 to test. I have used test tool like soapUI and can invoke the web service (although on different network to my XI server) so not sure why XI is failing
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Sorry forgot to mention - The error its self i suspect is firewall and will need to get network people to look at but any information on how to debug errors like this on J2EE side would be appreciated - is there a J2EE version of SM59?

Acrobat 8 Pro now unable to create pdf files
Been using Acrobat 8 for well over a year. Installed new release of AutoCAD 2012, now unable to create pdf files from AutoCAD or MS Office programs. Can anybody help?
You may still want to at least give a repair a shot. Won't hurt and sometimes customer suport (I assume you mean Adobe customer support?) will miss some things. I believe in your version you can find it under the Help menu.

No because the
customer support person I spoke with first said the problem was within the
creation portion of the program and did not fell that reinstallation or
deactivate/activate would resolve.
