Missing Task!

Hi,
We developed a system using Adobe livecycle ES2.5, we have a process consists of many steps, for one reason, that we do not know, we missed a task!!
what happened: a user submitted a task that must generate a pdf and return it to the same user but unfortunately this did not happened, until now!,
we checked the log, NO exceptions
we checked the adminUI, the process is RUNNING but the task !
note: we tried other processes and everything went perfect.
any suggestions ??

Hi Hussam,
If there are no exceptions in the logs, you want to check tb_process_instance and tb_task (you need to create a join query), to see if task got created for that process instance.

Indeed you should use the automatic scheduling mode, since you'll have all the calcuation power of MS Project. I'd advice to use manual scheduling on project start when some information are not known and project managers need to enter just a few information
such as the phases' name and duration.
Please note that it has to be/can be defined at different level:
1) Since you work with Project Server, I'd advice to go to thedditional server settings:
Select Manually Scheduled tasks can be published to team members (which is enabled by default) if you want to allows project managers to publish their manually scheduled task to team members.
For Default task mode in new projects, select one of the two following settings:
- Manually Scheduled:You have to enter duration, start, and finish dates for your tasks. By default, this option is selected.
- Automatically Scheduled:The scheduling engine automatically calculates durations and start dates and finish dates for your tasks.
Select Users can override default in Project Professional (which is enabled by default) if you want to enable your Project Professional users to override the default task mode settings that you selected.
2) Then note that it can be controlled from MS Project Pro (or PWA schedule page of the project):

Outlook 2007/2010 with Exchange 2010 missing tasks operation has failed only on PC not OWA

We have searched this topic to no success I'm baffled as to how to resolve this problem.
End user software: Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010,
Server side: MS Server 2012 R2 with MS Exchange 2010
Scenario: We have merged 2 forests together to a new forest. Months before hand had rolled out exchange 2010. A majority of users in
forest2 still are on Office 2007 where as users in
forest1 are nearly all on Office 2010.
Now so far we have 3 users (from Forest2) whom have reported 'missing tasks' with the message 'Operation has Failed' when attempting to view their tasks.
We have ran the outlook commands related to this type of issue that clear the reminders and resetting them with - No Success.
They have no issue when using OWA, or Outlook via mobile device. The issue only occurs on PC. We have tried profile rebuilds, fresh SOE, the issue appears to be resolved but the next time the user opens Outlook the problem comes back.
On the server we have ran all the integrity checks no corruption has been found in any way.

I recommend that you try the following method on client PC and then check the result:
Click Start >> Click Run >> Type outlook.exe /resettodobar
>> Click OK.

Extended notifications: Missing tasks in SOST

Hi!
I've configured extended notifications via SWNCONFIG, including different task filters. When I execute the SWN_SELSEN report, a range of notifications is represented in SCOT. However, when I run SOST, I'm missing notifications on two tasks. Tasks that are used in decision steps in the workflows are represented, but the two tasks that are used in activity steps in the workflows are missing. Why is that?

LMS 3.2: is this CSCtc21648? Missing tasks in device center

I'm missing inventory, view config from the management tasks. Also missing device alerts, and summary information from the Summary secion.
Have RME 4.3.1 installed - is this a result of CSCtc21648 or something else?

When I press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to enter the task manager it does

is there any error message "Task Manager has been disable by your administrator" , maybe this caused by virus, but we can do it manually after make sure PC no viruses

- Set the policy to Not Configured

Missing task bar for Editor in PSE13

I am trying to learn PSE13 so I don't have a lot of experience with it. It seems that my task bar for the Editor is missing. I use a Mac. How do I find it? It is there in the Organizer.

Yesterday I was able to connect with Adobe support. It took approximately 45 min., but finally the task bar is where it should be. Don't ask me how it happened, I'm just glad it's there. Thank you for responding.

Missing Tasks on workstation consoles

In the OpsMgr console on my workstations the "State Actions" items are the only options that show up, all the other
task items on the Task pane are missing but on the OpsMgr servers themselves the consoles are fine, all the task items show up and are usable.
I have completely uninstalled the console, the Livemaps console extensions and the XianNM Client with console extensions
then installed only the OpsMgr console but the problem persists.
I am running OpsMgr 2012 sp1 UR3 and LiveMaps 1.2.2

I found that I had a mismatch of my LiveMaps installs.

Missing Task Outcomes in ADF Project for BPEL Human Task

I am using SOA Suite 11g (11.1.1.5) and have created a Human Task in my composite application and then auto-generated the appropriate task form using the wizard which has been successful and created the ADF project.
My task has 3 outcomes the responses of which are then mapped out in the BPEL process.
When the human task is raised it puts a notification in the BPM worklist as expected however the 'Actions' list on the notification is blank? I was expecting there to be 3 values in the Actions list one for each of my outcomes.
I have tried re-building the ADF project from scratch from the task flow but still no joy.
I have not changed the ADF project over its default.
My next step is to look into the binding on the Actions picklist but I thought this was standard functionality and that the wizard handled this at the point of form generation.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Missing task lists after task list folder was deleted

In Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.0 user that doesn't have access to task lists can delete task list folders with task lists (they are not visible and no error occurs). After that task lists are visible in Basic Mode but I cannot find then in Advanced Mode through Administer->Manage->Task Lists. How can I get back these task lists to Advanced Mode or delete them?

User can delete tasklist? I've not seen that happening.
You can try recycling Planning services and see if they come back or go away.
It is stored in a table called hsp_task

Missing Task App and MP3 Music Files

Hello! I've reset my phone to factory default recently. I can't seem to find the Task App as well as the pre-loaded MP3 music files that can be found in the Walkman app when you bought the phone.
Any idea where I can download these?

Missing task bar and screen icons/Windows 7

My pc boots up fine but after it's finished, I only have a backround screen, no task bar and no screen icons. Is there a fix for this?

Try this:
Right-click the desktop.
Select View > Show desktop icons (if it doesn't have a check mark next to them, your icons don't display).
Move your cursor to the very bottom of the desktop and see if the taskbar doesn't pop up into view. If so, right click it.
Click Properties.
Clear the Auto-hide the taskbar check box.
Please let me know if that works.

I have deleted the task software from my BB, can anyone tell me how to re-install it. It is not in the application loader.

Missing tasks in my ical after last update yesterday

1/3 of my calendar is missing from ical and MobileMe calendar and on my iphone4 and even when i try to get them back from time machine, they are still missing.
What to do???
is it possible that they have a copy from before the update at MobileMe and how to get it.
I have some very important calendar in ical.

I have to say that is a completely stupid thing Apple has done - they have solved a problem that didn't exist.
I plug my iPhone into my laptop and - bam - everything is synced. No fuss, no muss. To force everyone to (1) use iCloud or (2) use another syncing service is inefficient and pointless - not exactly the Apple way which I thought was the whole point of Apple's/Jobs' vision. Perhaps Apple is competing with Google to try to get as much information about us as possible?
Just called Apple at 1.800.694.7466 and they told me the issue isn't with Mavericks per se but with iTunes 11.1.5.
According the helpful woman I spoke to, no one at Apple knows why Apple decided to remove the ability to sync everything via USB. She hears complaints about the change and knows it makes life difficult for folks.
She also recommended contacting www.apple.com/feedback about the change. She says Apple does in fact have a group of people who do read the comments.

Missing tasks, memo pad & documents to gp

I have an unlocked Bold.
Since receiving, I have not seen a tasks, memo pad OR Documents to go icon.
I have checked the applications listing and checked for hidden folders, all to NO AVAIL.
HELP!

You need to download the software for the device according to the carrier vendor ID on the phone.
Once you have that on ur pc, you need to install it to ur device. during this procedure, u will get an application selection in which you will tick tasks, memo etc and it will be installed onto the device.
What is your vendor id first and most importantly of all.
Hold down the alt key and type the letters R A C E, then let go of the alt key. This will bring up the Help Me! screen which lists the Vendor ID, Platform, Application
Version, PIN, IMEI, and other info about the device.
If your issue is resolved, put a checkmark in the green box that contains the resolution.
