Missing the reply button in notification center

In IOS8 there is a feature where you can answer messages by either swiping down to answer, which works, but then there is also the thing where you can slide to the left in the notification center and then there should come a blue reply button. Mine is gone, anyone who knows what I did wrong? Can you adjust this in the settings?

I didn't need to remove the iCloud account, I simply disabled the account in Messages.app and re-enabled it. Now I have the Messages share button

  • Missing Messages share button in Notification Center

Upgraded to 10.9 from 10.8 (via the GM) and I do not have the Messages share button in Notification Center, just the Twitter one.
Anyone else seeing this? Any idea of a fix?

  • The share Button in Notification center of OSX Mountain Lion Does not let you tweet links

By default a link in twitter is shortened .But in notification center when you try to tweet from the share link button the link is not shortened . This seems to be a bug

Hadn't noticed that before. You could use a link shortener first like
    https://bitly.com
but agree that's a bit inconvenient.

  • I cannot get the toggle link to the business email to stay up long enough to click it. The same thing happens when I try to hit the toggle reply "to sender" or "to all" dropdown on the side of the "reply" button. What can I do to fix this?

Clicking on my e-mail link, [email protected], loads the business side link right underneath. I click on my e-mail address, the business side flashes on the screen, but again when I try to click it, the whole thing disappears.
The same thing is happening with the "reply" button drop down menu for "reply to sender" and "reply to all" menu items.

It seems like you already have an old installation of Story.
You will have to remove it first before installing the latest one.
    So the steps would be:
    - Open 'Applications' folder in finder and move 'Adobe Story' app to Trash. Remove it from Trash too.
    - Search 'Adobe Story' in Spotlight to make sure that this application is not installed on a different drive. If installed then remove that version too.
    - Now download the latest version and install it. ( you can download the installer directly from: https://story.adobe.com/AIR/AdobeStory.air )

  • Can only open emails by using the reply button

    Hello Mail Program Wizards!
I seem to be sending and receiving emails fine, but can not open sent or new email. I can open an email only if I select it and then hit the reply button. Then the email is displayed in the body of the new email. If I double click on an email, it shows up as if it has been read even though it wasn't even opened.
I'm running OSX 10.4.8, Mail program is version 2.1
I have a POP account and my service provider is Verizon DSL.
    Thanks!

When you select a message from the list in your inbox the message contents should be displayed in the viewing pane below the list. If you cannot see the viewing pane find the little dot in the middle of the bottom bar of the window and drag it up into the list area.

Can't see the bottom of my notification center with IOS7 on iPhone 5.

hello ovidelu2006, other users with this problem all had an embedded intel hd3000 graphics card with an old driver present. in case this also applies to you, here would be a link to update the driver, which in turn should also address the black firefox problem: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=23764 (for win7 64 bit)
in case this doesn't solve the issue or does not apply to your system, start firefox into safemode '''by pressing the shift key while the application is launching''' & disable hardware acceleration in the firefox ''menu ≡ > options > advanced > general'' (that setting will take a restart of the browser to take effect).

  • There is no edit button at the bottom of my notification center in Yosemite.  I'm using a macbook pro.  Any ideas?

I'm trying to customize my notification center, but there is no edit button at the bottom where there is supposed to be one.  How do I fix this?

You can try trashing the preference file. Then kill the NotificationCenter.app.
The preference file is stored inside your Library folder. This is the complete path+preference file's name
    ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.notificationcenterui.plist
To kill the NotificationCenter.app, open Activity Monitor. Using the search box, type noti. You'll see the Notification center listed below. Select the line and click on the kill button
Force Quit, when asked. Notification Center reopens automatically.
    Check.

  • I'm missing the "foxfire" button. It's simply not there and I need to re-import my IE favorites, but I can't becasue the new upgrade forces you, (me), to use a button that simply is not there at the top left where it should be but isn't.

Well that's pretty much it. The foxfire help page, now that I've upgraded to the newest version says to look for the "foxfire" button at the top left which would be located in the blue bar that instead still tells me what the name of that particular page is that I am viewing, just as it always has but there is no "foxfire button there for me to click on in order to get my bookmarks, my favorites re-imported from IE version 6.0. I actually installed them via the instructions under foxfire version 6.0 a month ago originally without any problem, and then again on version 7.0 after I recently rebuilt this machine using windows 2000 professional and everything got imported Okay except for one file... And of course it was the most important folder, my favorites folder which I had named "business" because it was the folder which contained all my links that I need for "business". So naturally, I am eagerly awaiting a reply to tell me what it is that I need to do. Could it be as simple as I have not re-booted since I upgraded earlier today/yesterday? That actually IS a possibility I suppose because I don't remember re-booting afterward or being told to in or after the process of upgrading. After the upgrade, there simply was not any indication that I needed to. (As I recall anyhow!) It's currently one in the morning and that was twelve hours ago. But I honestly don't think that I was instructed to after clicking on "install" the new version. But if it did tell me to afterward, I'm sure I must have even though I don't remember it as my extensive history with personal computing and installing everything from hardware to software including operating systems tells me that if it had told me to re-boot, I would have.
    Thank you in advance,
    Eric G.

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).
Once you are using the "Firefox" button ...
Use the "Alt" key to view the menu bar (temporarily) containing File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. On Windows 7 and Vista, the menu bar was hidden by default in Firefox 4 and above. These menu items are more or less available under the "Firefox" button which has the most used of the built-in Firefox menu items available in a different format.
To get back to having menus again. "Firefox" button -> Options (second column) -> (check) Menu Bar
You can make '''Firefox 7.0.1''' look like Firefox 3.6.*, see numbered '''items 1-10''' in the following topic [http://dmcritchie.mvps.org/firefox/firefox-problems.htm#fx4interface Fix Firefox 4.0 toolbar user interface, problems (Make Firefox 4.0 thru 8.0, look like 3.6)]. • Facebook and Twitter status buttons in notification center?

    Hi Apple community,
I was messing around on my ipad mini with iOS 7 today and noticed that I cannot update my Facebook and Twitter status from notification center. Does anyone know how to turn this feature back on or if it was done away with iOS 7 altogether?

    Hey, thanks for the reply.
Yes, Facebook and Twitter are defined & enabled. I'm able to send out Tweets and Post to Facebook from Notification Centre.

  • Twitter share button in notification center not working?

I finally got my code for my free upgrade to Mountain Lion... I updated my computer last night and everything seems to be working well.  Other than the fact that they decided to leave the Facebook integration out without saying anything until last minute (that's the feature I was really looking forward to).  But anyway I woke up this morning and I went to send a tweet from the notification center.  The button is there but when I click it nothing happens.  I've removed my twitter account and readded it.  i checked the box to remove the share button and readded.  I restarted my computer twice and nothing... Anyone have any ideas?

  • Missing the "ADD" button for custom print sizes

I can follow an instruction like:
    - Open the Printers or Printer And Faxes window from the Start menu. Right-click the Adobe PDF printer, and choose Printing Preferences.
or i can get to that same place in Word/Print/etc.
But when i get to the tab "Adobe PDF Settings" and look next to the drop-down for "Adobe PDF Page Size", the "ADD" button is missing.
You can see what I mean with a screen print I pasted at http://www.miloshapiro.com/temp/temp.htm .
I know I'm looking in the right place because I remember seeing the button there before.
What might i possibly have messed up to have this button go away...and more importantly how can I get it back?
I'm on Acrobat 6 on WinXP, if that matters.
Will try to paste image below as well.

Did you check for a custom setting under the Page Size list?
