Missing tools in Fast-Blur effect, Gaussian Blur effect, ...
Hey there,
I'm using Premiere Pro CC and I was just about to mask an object in my video with the Fast-Blur effect (Schneller Weichzeichner in german and as it can be seen in the attached image).
But when I apply this effect to my video it won't show me any tool I could apply it with. It's the same with any blur effect, such as the Gaussian Blur.
These tools should be right above the adjuster from 0 to 127. Any idea?

If you want to use the mask tool you need to update to CC2014 (8.2). It looks like you are atill on CC7.

Video Filter missing: AE.ADBE Fast Blur - Premiere Pro CS4 mac
Hi, I own the master collection package of the cs4 products for Mac, and I'm having this problem when trying to open a project made on premiere pro 1,5 (win). All files, effects and tittles where imported perfectly on my Mac after opening and saving the project on win premiere cs3. The only problem is the fast blur plugin. I get this error when opening the project on premiere cs4. I need to have the fast blur plugin working because I don't want to re-create the whole transitions of this 1 hr length project.
I tried copying the Fast_Blur.plugin from after effects and pasting it on my premiere pro plug-ins folder (/Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CS4/Plug-ins) but with no luck, apparently premiere ignores it. Also tried to copy it to /Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CS4/Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.app/Contents/Plug-ins/Common but this gave me several errors and the application not launching.
What can I do to use this plugin in premiere cs4 Mac?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!Placed the afx cs4 Fast_Blur.plugin on /Applications/Adobe Premiere Pro CS4/Adobe Premiere Pro CS4.app/Contents/Frameworks/MediaCoreUI.framework/Fast_Blur.pluginand nothing... ignored as when placing it on Plug-Ins folder...

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think that the Mac CS4 afx "Fast_Blur.plugin" isn't comptible with the Mac CS4 Premiere.
I don't own a CS3 mac version... does anyone knows if it has the fast blur? I could try to use that file... -
CC Radial Fast Blur causes blocking artifacts HELP...
When I apply the effect CC Radial Fast Blur to one of my compositions in an adjustment layer, I get this peculiar black triangle that appears in no specific order and of various sizes every so often along the bottom of the frame (thus making my render unusable without cutting frames, which I don't want to do obviously).

I was watching a tutorial on Creative Cow by Andrew Devis, and he said that he had Fast Blur as a plug in for Premiere Pro. I have a Fast Blur for AE but not in Pre Pro. He was using CS5, I have CS4.
Is there a Fast Blur for CS4 and if there is, can I get it?.
On the Mac, inside of the Pre Pro Folder, when I right click the Pr Pro application to get the Show Package Contents>Contents>Plug-in and Plug-ins Disabeld I don't see it.

I am trying to use the Filter-Render-Lighting Effects tool but the Lighting Effects is in light grey and I can not access it can anyone help please?

I'm using a pc, (windows 8.1,) and I cannot get a thick and thin line with CS6. I want to draw, but I cannot get any linework like I should. I also use Sketchbook Pro, and ToonBoom, and I get wonderful linework. But not with Photoshop.
None of the brush tool settings have any effect, even in the preview. Is there a setting I need because I'm using a pc and not a mac?Thanks for your response,

If you mean that the Details section is no longer visible, then right-click on one of the other section titles like Basic or Tone Curve, etc, and put a checkmark next to Details.
If you mean that the Details section title is visible but you can’t see the sliders, then just click on the little triangle next to Details to expand the Details section to see the various sliders for Sharpening and Noise Reduction.
If neither of these is what you’re taking about, then please show us a screenshot of the righthand panel in Develop.

Missing tool buttons on Property Inspectator
I'm using Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 and having trouble with missing tool buttons within the property inspector. These icons, such as the Italic button, disappeared. I know, crazy right?! I feel i must have pressed something to make them disappear. Can anyone out there tell me how to get these button icons back on my property inspector. Please!
It's definitely not the HTML button. I wish it was that simple. It is also not because it's a different version because I looked on screen examples of CC 2014.1 and it has these buttons for sure. Thanks for trying though.

How to create a "fast forward" effect?
Hi there,
I want to create a fast forward effect of a section of video that I have. I have speeded up the section to 2000% normal speed, and added a noise effect. That looks ok.
Now, ideally, I would like to perfect the effect by adding the classic ">>" fast forward image, flashing on and off, and also by having the audio sounding sped up also.
Can somebody please offer some guidance on how to go about that?

Two fast motion effects on one clip
Ive been trying to make a claymation movie right. So I put fast motion onto it, but it wasnt fast enough so I tryed to make it faster. I clicked on the clip with the fast motion on it and made it faster. I can preview what it would look like faster, but I can't apply it. What should I do?
You can make it faster only once.
A workaround is to apply the fast effect, then undo it and do a save: the rendered clip is moved to the Finder trash. Import it back to the project, THEN you can re-apply the fast effect to it again.
This trick doesn't properly work with interlaced input slo-mo because the clip is deinterlaced only when the project is sent to tape/iDVD (you can do a fake export to force this, though). Not doing a deinterlace will produce flicker on a TV.

I am wondering how to make fast motion effect. The idea is to make from long video appr. 40 min (it is processing of printinting on 3d printer) short video. But it should be visible how it "grow" layer by layer.I tried already normal fast forward. Looks bad. Is it even possible? The camera was stable on one place, so now i need just to make video faster.
I hope you understand, what I meanI want to show how it grow fast layer by layer, but it look like pause and after its bigger for few cm. The process is not that obvious. I want to make it like in documental movie like "how it work" or "how it was made".

Why can't GB let me use 'electric guitar' option when using Nio 2/4 interface - I have to use real instrument and miss out on all the effects. Is this normal for all interfaces? The Nio reads hte guitar but GB doesn't....
Usually effects packages are AU plugins that would have no effect on track selection. Interfaces should have no control over what kind of track you can select. I really think something else is going on her maybe something you overlooked.
Did you choose the input channel in the track info pane. Try both channel 1 mono or channel 2 mono. Make sure the track is record enabled. -
There are no shape tools showing up when I apply the fast blur effect.

Do you mean the oval and square shape tools when you select the clip and view the Effects panel?
When did you last update your copy of Premiere Pro? I think those two shape tools are new to the June 2014 release of Premiere Pro. The Pen tool shown in my screen shot is new to the October 2014 release. (Remember that updating your CC software does not overwrite your installed version. Check your Applications folder and you'll probably see the newer installation next to the older one, and your task bar shortcut icons may still be pointing to the older versions.)

in ps cs6 there are some menu items, such as FILTER / BLUR / FIELD & IRIS & TILT, which are missing from configuators choices in the command list. i just wanted to confirm that missing items will be added in revisions past configurator 3.1, thanks.
Configurator 3.1 does not add these missing items. Configurator can not get all the items of Photoshop, therefore, some of them are missing. I'm sorry for that.
