Missing Tools, no 'Customize' button

I have Acrobat XI 11.0.06 at work, where I make extensive use of the highlighter tool, Text Recognition tool, and Add Text tool.
How do I get these tools on my home version? I have a highlighter button, but there is no Text Recognition tool on the sidebar, and no Content Editing tool on the sidebar. What do I have to do to get these tools? The Support pages all say to use the Customize button, but I have no Customize button either. Please help!

Have you used UI Customization?
Can you try the following:
As you've been suggested, locate the Customize dropdown at the right of the toolbar on the top of the application. If there is no such control, this means it's probably a previous version of Acrobat that didn't support UI Customization yet.
If the control is there, make sure the 'Default Tools' setting is selected.
If not, can you tell me what you see in the Tools pane when opening the Right Hand Pane clicking on the Tools tab above it (among with Sign and Comment)?

Missing tool buttons on Property Inspectator

I'm using Dreamweaver CC 2014.1 and having trouble with missing tool buttons within the property inspector. These icons, such as the Italic button, disappeared. I know, crazy right?! I feel i must have pressed something to make them disappear. Can anyone out there tell me how to get these button icons back on my property inspector. Please!

It's definitely not the HTML button. I wish it was that simple. It is also not because it's a different version because I looked on screen examples of CC 2014.1 and it has these buttons for sure. Thanks for trying though.

Web clipping- missing customize button

Hi everyone,
I use 11.1.1.7 version of jdev. I have a web center application, I want to customize some pages by using web clipping but when I log in the web center application, I can only see the Personalize button in action section of web clipping portlet, I cannot see the customize button, what should I do to be able to get Customize button? I appreciate for any idea.

I actually checked that the admin users have the privileges to customize the page, is there anyone who can give me any idea why I cannot see the customize button, I only see the personalize button ? thank you.

Missing all menus and buttons from Folio Builder

I had a problem with Folio Builder panel when change ID password. I re instal both plugin again( FP and FProdTool), but this did not help. After reading the forum about solving the problem >
1) Quit InDesign and any other CS apps
2) Use the Activity Monitor to quit the CS5ServiceManager or CS5.5Service Manager
3) Next delete this file based on version:
/Users/lnegi/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/preference/csxs2.pref
/Users/lnegi/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5.5ServiceManager/preference/csxs2.pref
4) Then remove this item from the Keychain Access based on version:
Adobe-CS-5-renga
Adobe-CS-5.5-renga
To remove from the keychain:
Navigate to /Applications/Utilities and launch the Keychain Access.app
If the lock icon in the upper left appears locked, click on it and enter your password to unlock it.
Select the “login” item in the Keychains list in the top left.
Select “Passwords” from the category list.
Type “renga” in the search field in the top right.
Select any matches and press the delete key.

i'm disappoint ...after the second day, I can not work with my DPS.. afte trying this:
1. Uninstall Folio Builder Panel and Folio producer Tools ( Seems you might have already followed this step). Use Spotlight to serach for Uninstall Folio builder Panel and Uninstall Folio producer Tools and then uninstall repectively.
2. Uninstall Adobe Air.
3. Restart your Machine.
4. Reinstall Adobe Air from get.adobe.com/air
5. Reinstall Folio Builder Panel and Folio Producer Tools.

Custom button goes missing after click the button in Customer Master

Hi All,
I have one query regarding Custom tab button in Custome MAster.I have implemented BAdIs using CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA_CS and CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA to match my requirment.
Query:
While click the custom button(which i have created in Customer Master) , the subscreen is displayed but the Custom Button is missing.Where in Standard Buttons like 'GENERAL DATA' and 'COMPANY CODE DATA' Std buttons in Customer master Etc. buttons going to disable mode while click these button in custome mastar.
Is there any OSS notes to implement OR we required to set up some PF status to match above requirment.
Please let me know.

If I follow you, no. That's the way it works. The buttons are composited with the background so become part of it. I'd rethink the design.
Basically, you don't want the highlights to determine the color of unselected buttons. You'll always have fringes and jaggies. Having a non-transparent color set for the unselected state kind of does what you want, but won't look the best.

Is there an Oracle-recommended tool to customize eBS standard reports?

a few days ago a collegue of mine dropped in and asked for a tool to customize eBusinessSuite (R12) standard reports. He came along with XXBA_PO_STANDARD_XSLFO.xsl (which is a mix of XSL and FO) and asked me if I could modify the position of some tables and if I knew a WYSIWYG editor that he could do the same without learning XSL and all the stuff.
First thing was not too complicated but the second: I spent some hours to find a tool on the internet, but I didnot find a way to do that on an existing report using the big ones (XMLSpy, Stylus Studio), and I neither found another tool to archive this.
Any hints or recommendations are appreciated.

If you mean that the Details section is no longer visible, then right-click on one of the other section titles like Basic or Tone Curve, etc, and put a checkmark next to Details.
If you mean that the Details section title is visible but you can’t see the sliders, then just click on the little triangle next to Details to expand the Details section to see the various sliders for Sharpening and Noise Reduction.
If neither of these is what you’re taking about, then please show us a screenshot of the righthand panel in Develop.

No, you can't customize it. Try different apps available in the App Store.

Missing adobe cright click button options

I am missing adobe right click button options, when selecting two jpge documents in windows explorer to merge them in a pdf. Also just for one document to be converted in pdf.

I have ¡Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro' installed and properly registered with its license.
I used to have these buttons. The weirdest issue is why they not there any more.

I am missing the app store button

updated my phone last night and I am missing the app store button- is there a fix for this? HELP

Default apps are part of the iOS and cannot be deleted. Search all home screens and all folders and/or search for it with Spotlight, that will tell you what folder it's in.
Also check Settings > General > Restrictions to see if it has been restricted.
If not found, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.

Control Center customizable button

For the next generation of IPads Software, could you consider adding a customizable button on the Control Center for quick access to a function that the user chooses? In this way, the user could decide on what this button would do.
(Ex: I would configure a button for quick access to "Invert Colors" from the setting/general/accessibility page).
We quite often use IPads at night in Aircraft cockpits and this function would allow for a quick shifting to a “Night Mode” type display by greatly reducing the display brightness.

Actually, after talking to a user, I found out that a this feature is available through the triple click function of the home button, as long as the Accessibility
Shortcut has been configured accordingly.

Insert and query buttons missing on qbe customize

I created a simple qbe report and enabled update, delete, insert, and query. If I use the 'customize' link on the portal development screen for the qbe, it gives me the insert and query buttons. But as a portlet added to a page, if you click on the customize at the top right of the qbe portlet, it omits the insert and query buttons. Why does this happen? In each case I am logged in as the same person. I even played with the priviledges, to no avail.
Any suggestions?

In Qbe Report the update , delete , insert buttons are for full page mode and will not appear in portlet mode .
The portlet mode customization can only be used to change the data appearing in the report (this is in consistent with the other kinds of reports )
As a work around a form can be provided to insert and update the data .
