Missing tracks and missing parts of tracks when i purchased a full album??

hey all,
ok. heres the deal.. i recently purchased Red Hot Chili Peppers: Greatest Hits from the itunes store.. ive made purchases before im quite capable of making purchases for music apps and topping up my account. Now for some reason this time everything seemed to have worked fine the first time i listened to the cd.. (however i could be mistaken) but now when i try to listen to the entire album song 2 will skip ahead to the next track in the middle of the song.. and song 4 will skip ahead before it even starts the song. there are a few more tracks on the cd where it wont let me listen to the full track. only the first few seconds or min. depending one what track hasnt seem to downloaded fully. what the heck! so everything seems verified when i check my account it says downloaded. however it seems it is only partially. there are bits and pieces of the entire album missing how to i get what i paid for !!!!! apple seems impossible to get ahold of and i want to listen to what i paid money for darn it!
anytime i want to listen to the album i cant. even if i go to the album under purchases it still does the same thing.. somebody please help me. ?
* even if i try and fast forward through one of these parts that seems to be missing it wont even fast forward through it will just skip ahead to the next track in the middle of the song!
* yes ive tried updating itunes same thing.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Missing songs, missing videos, and missing playlist

Now that I updated itunes seems like I'm missing videos. Before the update I was and still am missing songs and playlist. This includes songs I had put in with cd's.
I don't dare try to sync my phone or ipad. My phone has all the music on there from when itunes wasn't broke.I just have to deal with changing the Christmas music right away. I thought maybe the update would help. Silly me.
Does anyone know if there is something that can be done for this problem

You could try contacting the iTunes Music Store Customer Service and ask them to sanction a second free download. There have been occasional reports in the iTunes forum of this happening, however just be aware that they are not under any obligation to do so. Last night I back up my phone to my computer as always and once it completed it was not responding. I tried to restore the infromation as of the back up last night but it ask for a password which I do not remember placing. I was able to store as of the date I purchased the phone 2 years ago. Also, I am not in the cloud.
How do I get this password so I can get my information back???

Unfortunately you've discovered too late how important it is to maintain an up-to-date backup of your iTunes library (and all other data of value). You could, before wiping the drive, have considered making use of a commercial data recovery service that could (albeit at considerable cost) have extracted your library from the hard disk, even if virus infected.
In the absence of that option, you will need to restore the content of your library from its original sources:
Depending on your location, you may be able to re-download any iTunes Store purchases that are still available on the Store
Likewise, most digital purchases from Amazon (including auto-rip copies of purchased CDs) should be available from the Amazon Cloud and via the Amazon Music application - the same may be true of other commercial sources for digital downloads

The specific situation that you describe regarding the music imported from your friend's external HDD suggests that either the source is badly organized and/or originates from a source other than iTunes (other media players may use alternative tags for information like artist, title, album, etc. that are not wholly consistent with how iTunes handle these). TS3297 When I purchase a whole album why am I unable to play some of the songs? I get a prompt telling me to authorize my computer which I have already done.

If only some of tracks from the album are prompting you to do that, that suggests that the tracks are damaged.

Where is the total tracks and size information in itunes when I select multiple items?

In older versions of iTunes, when I was creating a playlist for burning to a cd, I was able to see the number of tracks selected and the total size. Is this information still available somewhere?

Yes, it is in the Status Bar at the bottom of the playlist or library. It shows song count, time, and total file size.
If you do not see the Status Bar, enable it by using the command View > Show Status Bar, or the shortcut CTRL+/.

Error when extracting data from ETL - Missing messages and missing InfoIdoc

Hi All,
We are using BW 3.0 and extracting data from other source systems through Informatica Powercenter (ETL). The system is working fine but when we try to extract data on 31st Dec , we get the following error. Only this load gives the error and all the other load to other data targets are going fine. All the data are one-to-one mapped from ETL to BW.
Error messages from Monitor -Status tab:-
   "InfoIdocs missing; external system
   Diagnosis :- InfoIDocs are missing. The IDocs are created in BW with non-SAP systems as source
   systems that transfer the data and metadata to BW using BAPIs. Since the IDocs are missing, a
   short dump in BW probably occurred.
   System response: No selection information arrived from the source system"
Error messages from Monitor -Details tab:-
    Missing message: Number of sent records,   Missing message: Selection completed

Thank you very much for your reply. The source system connections are OK and we are able to load data to other Data targets from ETL, we have issue only with this this particular load. The load extracts data and I have loaded the data from ETL to PSA and have checked the data content and it is correct. But when I update the same data to the target I get this error. I have also tried to update from PSA to target and also directly from ETL to target.
Appretiate your suggestions.

InDesign CS4: Missing Toolbars and Missing Plug-In

Currently running InDesign CS4, version 6.0 on a Macbook Pro.
I was just using the program last night with no issues. Upon opening InDesign today, Adobe Updater popped up at launch; I installed updates. Now when I open a new document in InDesign, there are no toolbars on the side of my screen. (I've tried using the tab key shortcut, but nothing happens.)
Also, when I try to open previously saved InDesign files from my computer, I get the following pop-up:
Missing Plug-ins
LILO.APLN
The document "filename" uses one or more plug-ins which are not currently available on your system. Do you want to open anyway?
And then this pop-up:
Hyphenation breaks may change if you edit the text in this document.
The following hyphenation services are not installed on this system - Proximity (English: USA)
I don't know what either of these messages mean. I'm not incredibly tech-saavy, so any advice would be EXTREMELY appreciated.

Uninstalled the Creative Suite. Ran the cleanup tool. Reinstalled the suite from the installation discs.

Missing file and missing pages

Really I have 2 questions here but they're related:
1. I downloaded a PDB file (converted from a Text file) from my computer using Missing Sync. The log says that it was downloaded successfully but I can't find it.
2. I successfully downloaded some PDF files (converted from Text) to my handheld and was able to open them with Adobe Reader. However, I can only read the first 50 pages as the rest are blank.
I have a Palm TX under Palm OS and Leopard.

I do in fact have both eReader and Mobipocket and have successfully downloaded and read many an ebook both in PDB an PRC format (over 50). I simply can't find the file that my Missing Sync log says was downloaded.
I agree that neither the layout nor the quality of Adobe is brilliant but it's better than printing out the document when you're travelling and at least it's free. I was hoping not to have to buy Docs to Go as it's not too often that I would have to use it. But as it's not too expensive (especially at the moment as I'll be paying in Euros!!) I'll probably buy it.
Now if I could just find my file....
