Missing Transaction Types

Hi all,
I have just made a new business role, and when using this business role I cant see any of the transaction types that we normally use. Tasks, Appointments, Opportunity and so on.
When I look in the SPRO, I see them all, but how do I assign these to my new business role, so that they are visible in the UI?
Looking forward for your answers
Kind regards,
Amore

Hello Amore,
In New UI,check whether those assignment blocks are avialable in 'Personalizaton'.
If yes, then you have to move them from Available ABs to Displayed ABs.
Hope this helps!

  • Purchase Order with Transaction Type: Missing on scrren

    Hi Guys,
I've been searching for the place in config and master data that determines where the Transaction type is linked the the org. unit or user, but have not been succesfull.
The selection for transaction type is emty in the "Create Purchase order" screen.
I have activated ECPO in "Define Transaction Types" in IMG.
I have had the same problem before but forgot where it was.
Can any of you mighty people out there point me in the right direction?
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi Thomas,
The transaction types ECPO & ECDP are maintained in the attributes (BSA) of the org. structure at the Co. Code level or which ever level (P.Org, P.Group) based on the requirements. The user assigned at any of these levels inherit these attributes.
Also you define number ranges (external & Internal) both for the transaction types in the SPRO > IMG along with the point you mentioned for the activation of Transaction types.
Hope this answers your query. Clarifications are welcome.

  • Transaction types(PO types) not visible on SRM 7.0 portal

    Hi all,
We added transaction types in the SRM 7.0system.But these are not reflecting in the SRM 7.0 portal.
Under Purchasing role ->create Documents -> Purchase order .
Once I click on the purchase order it is giving a table with columns PO type and PO desc.
and showing a message the table does not contain any data.
But SRM consultant added the transaction types(PO types) in the backe nd.
    Is there missing configuration steps?
    Thanks and regards,
    Rajesh

    Hello Rajesh,
    Few more pointers, if works:
    1. Check the roles, sometimes security restricts role by document types.
    2. Extended classic scenario is activated.
    3. As a standard, there are 3 purchasing tabs in SRM 7.0 for buyer depending on portal roles, ECC, SRM & harmonized role (ECC & SRM), Check if you are trying to create PO in SRM/Harmonized role purchasing tab & not in ECC. Easiest way to check is you will have shopping cart POWL visible in SRM purchasing tab.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • Error while selecting transaction type 650 during ABAA.

    Hi Experts,
We are facing an issue with transaction type 650 while executing unplanned depreciation posting for a certain company code not for all. The error message no. AA380. But it is working fine for other company codes.
It has been observed that dep. area 30 is assigned to transation type 650 for that chart of depreciation and the message indicates that to be deleted as the combination is not allowed. But after removing the dep. area 30, the posting calls other transaction types 641/642/651 etc.
Are we missing any config here for this particular company code? Do we need to do some changes for TT 650?
A quick response will be highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Partha

    Hi Partha ,
    Please check below two configurations.
    1) Go to OAXE check the transaction type 650 and go to details and ensure that there is Always Post check box selected.
    2) Go to OABU check the relevant depreciation area for which you are posting there should be a check box which needs to be selected for Unplanned depreciation.
Hope this helps you to address the issue.

  • Transaction type on writeup

when posting a writeup using ABZU the offsetting account is not picking up the transaction type. Is this the standard SAP way of doing it or is this some config or setting that I missed.
We have a report that picks up transactions by transaction type and would like to see this offsetting account pickup the transaction type.
    Thank you

What we would like to do is to take an existing ont order type and change the transaction type (AR) to point to a new transaction type (AR) -- (On the finance tab of the order type setup). The change is due to a change from finance on the accounts that are used for inter-company accounts. We had approximately 450 order types (ONT) and transaction types (AR) which are affected. We are simplyfing and will only have about 70 transaction types now. I could map the existing 450 order typs back to the 70 transaction types which would mean that the change would be invisible to the end user. This would also allow us not to have to change discoverer reports that are order type based. What I am not sure of is the impact on history and open orders at the time of the change. Which transaction type would be associated with the order? The one that was linked to the order type at the time the order was booked or the transaction type that was linked at the time the order is invoiced?

  • Business Transaction Profile - Error when using Z-Transaction Type

    Dear Experts,
    we are using SAP CRM 7.0 (Support Level 0007 - SAPKU70007). I have created a Z-Business Transaction Profile Z_IC_SERVICE.
    SAP Help says:
Enter the transaction type to be used as a default in your scenario in the IC WebClient. For example, choose the transaction type 0010 (Interaction Record) if an interaction record is to be created automatically. The system creates this interaction record automatically after the interaction has started (for example, after accepting a call). During this, the activity clipboard in the interaction record is filled with the relevant data.
So when I am using the transaction type 0010 (Interaction Record) in my Business Transaction Profile all is OK that means I can search for accounts and I can confirm them to go on with the process.
BUT: When I entering here a Z Transaction Type (Z000) the systems shows the errors:
    - Error occurred in class CL_ICCMP_CUCOIREC_IMPL, event InteractionStarted.
    - Error occurred in class CL_ICCMP_CUCOIREC_IMPL, event BPConfirmed.
Then I have made a copy of the transaction type 0010 (Name of copy: Z010) and tried to use it in my Business Transaction Profile the system says:
Customizing settings missing. Assign partner functions to Z010
Anybody know what to do and where to avoid errors? Note 1346892 is obsolete in this case because we already have the highest Support Package Level.
    Best Regards
    Oliver

Hi yes you were right. In the case of both transaction type I have corrected the customizing parameters in
SPRO -> Customer Relationship Management -> Interaction Center WebClient -> Business Transaction -> Assign Partner Functions to Business Transactions
In the case of Transaction Type Z010 I had Z-Partner Functions and and that leaded to the errors:
    - Error occurred in class CL_ICCMP_CUCOIREC_IMPL, event InteractionStarted.
    - Error occurred in class CL_ICCMP_CUCOIREC_IMPL, event BPConfirmed.
In case of the Transaction TYPE Z000 I forgot to assign the Partner Functions that is why this error appeared:
Customizing settings missing. Assign partner functions to Z010

  • Asset transaction type default wrongly

I go to t-code ao76, for asset transaction type 350, there is no tab called "posting type" , thus i can't find gross/net indicator.
but in other system, i see posting type indicator.
any one know how to solve this problem, now any transaction type I created under ao76 does not have posting tab

I already check in this way, by this way, it will not allow you to modify standard transaction type 3**, all my transaction type under transaction group 30 is missing posting type, none of the four radio button is selected in the expert view.
Is there any note to repair transaction type group 30? I find some notes, they suggest using Zcorrection prgram and transfered from client zero, but none can treat group 30.
thus I expect any solution, may be it needs other configuration?

  • Sub transaction type

when iam creating (factory sales)excise invoice the error will
coming customising for sub transaction type missing in table excise accounts.
what is the use of sub transacton type ,how it is difined and assigned
    plese give me solution.

    hi mahesh,
    pl check this  :
Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction - In this IMG activity, you specify which excise accounts (for excise
duty and CENVAT) are to be posted to for the various transaction types. Enter all the accounts that are affected by each transaction type. If you use sub transaction types, enter the accounts for each sub transaction type as well.
Transaction type UTLZ is used for determining accounts only while posting excise JVs and also if the payment of excise duty has to be done fortnightly. The fortnightly CENVAT payment utility picks up the credit side accounts from the transaction types of GRPO, EWPO, and TR6C for determining the CENVAT and PLA accounts. There is no separate transaction type for fortnightly payment.
    Example:
    - Excise TT DC ind Account name
    - GRPO CR CENVAT clearing account
    - GRPO CR RG 23 BED account
    - GRPO DR CENVAT on hld account
Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction - In this IMG activity, you assign the excise and CENVAT accounts to G/L
accounts. When you come to execute the various transactions, the system determines which G/L accounts to post to by looking at the:
    - Excise group
    - Company code
    - Chart of accounts
Furthermore, if you want separate account determination settings within an excise group, you can also use sub transaction types.
    Requirements
    You have already:
    - Defined the G/L accounts
    - Defined the excise groups
    - Maintained the transaction accounts

  • Missing transactions in outgoing payments / incoming payments

    Hello Experts,
My customer operated the year transfer process and created a new DB. From that point , he faces a problem with the outgoing payments and incoming payment forms.
In the new DB there are missing transactions in the forms mentioned above. We tried to analyze it and we got to the conclusion that the transactions who created by journal entry whose type is JE -30, has transfered to the new DB, but these transactions are not displayed in the outgoing payments and incoming payment forms.
This issue making a big problem with payments because you don't know if any transactions are missing.
Does anybody have an idea hoe to solve it ?

    Hi,
Since only few countries could use this year transfer process, I am afraid you had better log a message to SAP support.  That may give your answer faster.
    Thanks,

In a report of this cube for plant material stock,  i can c the quantities matching with MB51  report of R/3 where as the values are not matching for sum material ( negative stock values with 0 qtys )
i found that a movement type 121 data is missing in BW
i have read thread on the forum suggesting  to work on OMJJ transaction and make 121 movement type as statistics relevant.
But i want to know how this action will effect on R/3 update controlling ?
any inputs will b a grt help
Edited by: Rajesh Dalwadi on Jan 13, 2009 12:09 PM

    Hi,
We faced lot of problems with missing movement type, fo that we taken correct confirmation from MM team and then added it in Update Rules and deleted the data in Cube and then Re-Initialized the Cube.
To do this, you need ECC Down Time. I'm talking about BW 3.5. I think in BI7, it may be easy, (without taking down time, pls check).
    Thanks

  • Transaction type does not exist. Check entries

    Hello all,
    EBP 5.0, CCM 1.0, unicode
When I try to log on different language than English and try to shop system is displaying two messages
Internal number range is missing for transaction type. Inform syst. admin
Transaction type does not exist. Check entries
And I cannot see link for Procurement Catalog.
All my customizing up to now was in English, due to the fact that SAP did not provide translation to Croatian (Latin-2 language).
Also catalog call-up has locale "en" for the calling of catalog from EBP.
Please give hint where I can start with debugging.
    Gordan

    Hello Yann,
main problem, language files for CCM and EBP are not suppied from SAP yet. MY BC told me that they installed Croatian language in WAS, so system should behave as language is intalled fully and represent text in English when there is no translation.
I cannot test other things because EBP will not go into the catalog due to the missing internal numbering for the transaction type. I checked BUS2121 in transaction types but nothing to be found.
I was thinking that those two problems are related but this is not true. First I have to solve number range that check the catalog. Only common between those two problems is logon language.
I even forced our special characters by entering them as UNICODE code and I can see them via catalog manager in english, but only for catalog items. Characteristics and product category names do not follow UNICODE specification.
    Confused

  • Customized transaction type not working

In Change Request Management, we have copied a transaction type from "Normal Correction" and tried to customize it.  We have also copied a new action profile for this new transaction type.  And copied exactly the same action conditions.  However, when I trigger action "Set to 'In Development' " and save the change.  Status of the message does not change to "In Development" as "Normal Correction" did.
Is there any setting missing that I should do?

    Hi Martin,
have you followed the instruction in the IMG, when copying the transaction type?
IMG: SPRO -> Configuration -> Scenario-Specific Settings -> Change Request Management -> Important Information
See copy of the IMG activity below:
    IMG ###########################
    <i>Important Information</i>
Before you start to configure Change Request Management, make sure that you have performed all the Solution Manager IMG activities under the following nodes:
    Solution Manager -> Basic Settings
Solution Manager -> Scenario-Specific Settings -> General Settings
When you copy the standard Change Request Customizing into customer namespace, you should just change the first character to Y or Z e.g. SDCR -> YDCR or ZDCR but not Z1CR, if you change more characters you should be aware that modifications will be necessary and it is not standard SAP. This restriction is required for all CRM related objects like catalog, transaction type, status schema ...

  • Increase transaction types in a Business role

    Hi Folks,
I currently am logged into business role SALES-PRO .When I want to create a quotation I can see two transaction types(Say ZEQT,ZEQ1),If I want to include two more transaction types for example credit memo request etc in create quotation  itself can i do it functionally?
Pls tell me what settings need to be done?
    Regards
    Jaya

    Hi Jaya,
The transaction types you see is based on the authorizations set for your id.What you can do is,
    1. Run tcode STAUTHTRACE and set it for your user.
    2. Click on cerate quotation.
    3. Deactivate the trace.
    4. Display trace and see what authorization you are missing.
    5. Take the authorization object in the trace.
    6. Got to SUIM tcode->Roles->By authorization object.
    7. You will get a list of PFCG roles who has this authorization object.
8.Now you can tell your basis team to assign this role to your SU01 or you can assign yourself if you have auth.
Now you will see more transaction types.
    Thanks,
    Faisal
