Missing values for a year

Hello,
I am trying to load a dimension and all data gets loaded successfully, however when I retrieve the data, I see the all the values are missing for one year only (i.e - all months/Qtrs in 2005 are showing #Missing, but other years are showing correct values).
I have made sure that file had correct data for 2005 and reloaded the file, but I am still not having any luck.
Please help.

First clear All data.
Quey the data belongs to year 2005 only by filtering in the SQL query.
Try to load data using rule file and check whether data is getting loaded or not.
This is useful for issue analysis.

We are getting following error in conflict resolution .ORA-23460: missing value for column "ASSIGNED_APPL_USER_ID" in resolution method "<method>" for
"TMADMIN"."PATIENT_VISITS"."REP_UPDATE" ORA-01403: no data found .
Above column ASSIGNED_APPL_USER_ID is NULL column ,We are using MAXIMUM resolution method for update conflict handler .We tried many times on toad the same scenarios and working fine.
We have set supplemental logging on primay and unique columns.
I found many docs on internet and they all said add supplemental logging on all columns.

I'm having trouble in extracting the last year figures based date entered. I'm actually would like to create a query where I'm able to know the "TOP 10 item sold based item category". I've created a query, which show the top10 item sold (total quantity & value) for this year, but not able to display the last year figure (quantity). Please advise & thanks for your help and time.

CL20N Status changed: missing values for required chars for ROH & FERT

Dear Expert,
I am getting this message no. CL500 (Status changed: missing values for required chars) when I try to save variant class (Class type 300) assignment to material master (Raw Material) with Released 1 status in CL20N; but I do not get this message during assignment for FERT. I can save a FERT with Released1 status to a variant class without any system message. I am using configurable material in purchasing and this message is not valid in this case. Is there anywhere I can turn off this message for raw material just like FERT?

BSC: Display values for Fiscal Year/Period

Hi all,
We are trying to create a small test scenario to know about balance score card. We have a cube which has Actual and Plan data in one KF diffentiated based on Value type character. Time character is fiscal year/period.
We want to display a graph which displays actual and plan for fiscal year/period wise. But when we execute the score card it shows the total year's plan and actual for the individual fiscal year/period. But ideally it should display actual and plan for the respective fiscal year/period.
we have created two value field in the measures of score card. and formula a/b (Plan / Actual ) is used.
Please guide us in solving the problem.

Invalid value for Fiscal year/period

Hi all,
I have an user exit variable which populates the fiscal year period value from two separate fields.
1) Fiscal Period
2) Fiscal Year
But when I contatenate it and place it in the format 200601 the report in BEx gives me the error
"Value 200601 for user-exit variable ZRMA_FIP is invalid"
ZRMA_FIP is my variable name
The code I have is:

How to get monthwise opening qty / value for previous years

I do not get the month wise opening quantity and values for the items for the previous years using the below query. How i can modify this query to get opening qty / value of any year less than current year.

Expression to find value for previous year SSRS

Hi
I need some help with expressions.I need a report that shows calcul of a field for current year as well as previous year respecting this rule expression(Last-Last Previous)/Last Previous*100 (I work with MDX Query and i work with SSRS 2008).
Also the report runs on a Year Parameter. Below is an example for the result
for example i selected the years 2010 2011 2012 i can select another years because i have the report runs on a Year Parameter

Data 2010 2011 2012

Dell 17 18 20
and the result i want

Data 2010 2011 2012 2011/2012

"non assigned" value for Calender year quarter not possible

All of us know that we can not assign "#" value to calender year quarter.
In my planning level (which is a part of multi planning area consinsting 2 cubes, Actual COPA cube and Plan COPA cube), I want to copy data from Actual copa cube to plan copa cube using planning function of formula type, but actual copa cube is not getting populated against calyear quarter.
I want to retain calyearquarter as a characteristic in my level as it is acting as a key to my plan data. What shoould be done in such a scenario?

I would suggest you build a characateristic relationship exit on calendar year quarter, probably based on fiscal year period or 0calmonth.. Make sure you leave Calendar year quarter out of your planning level in the copy so it would derive it.

Missing values for BWAPPLNM (Application comp) and BWVORG field in psa

We loaded records in to PSA of 2LIS_02_ITM and 2LIS_02_SCL. However, upon passing through the update rules into 0PUR_C01 and 0PUR_C04, we find that the added records to both these infocubes is 0.
Upon closer examination of the update rules, we came across routines which relied on values in PROCESSKEY (BWVORG) and BWAPPLNM fields. These fields donu2019t have values in the PSA.
Kindly mention if any additional settings or configurations have to be done at ECC and(or) BI side other than BF11 settings so that these values get populated in to the BWVORG and BWAPPLNM fields of 2LIS_02_ITM and 2LIS_02_SCL so that those records can be added to the cubes upon passing through the update rules.

Wrong Depreciation value for subsequent years for further acquisition

Hi All,
Need immediate help...I have a dep key with Unit of Produciton. The method being used is Usage/Remaining and the Base Value is 24 - Net Book Value.
I had posted an acq. on 01.01.2009...it depreciates perfectly as per my usage--say till period 5. Then another acq. was posted in july - and was consumed fully in Feb 2010..
Another acq. was posted in May, 2010...Now my dep for period Jan and Feb is getting reversed and Dep. on Base Value - Balance Carried forward and New Acq - is being calculated, although i had exhausted my balance in Feb itself.
I do not want to go by Sub Assets route...
Why is such a calculation being done???

My requirement is to create a SQL query for a table/view where I have day-wise data. I want to find out cumulative values for financial year by giving any date. It should add the values from start of financial year till that date in the financial year.
I think creating a view of such type will post heavy burden on resources since accuimulation will be done for each day upto that day.

Customizing setting 'Recalculate depreciation for previous years'

Dear Experts,
I have requirement where for tax depreciation areas we want the system to recalculate the depreciation for previous years. For e.g.
Asset acquired on 7/1/06 with value 10000
Useful life: 5 years
Take over date in asset accounting: 9/30/2008
With the above example, I want the system to show me depreciaiton values for the years 2006 and 2007 also in transaction AW01N (Asset Explorer), apart from 2008.
In FI-AA customizing, I have enabled the relevant depreciation areas for recalculation in the node 'Recalculate Depreciation for Previous Years' (Transaction OAYF).
However, when I create the legacy asset and maintain the takeover values, the system just shows me depreciation for 2008 and onwards.
Is there something I am missing? Please advice. I have searched the SAP help and SAP notes, but did not find anything.

This is not possible. When you takeover an asset using AS91, it is creating an ANLC entry for that year only. 2008 in your case. Regardless of when the asset was originally acquired, SAP will only let you report on it back to 2008.
This concept is no different than any other FI/CO legacy conversion. If the customer is going live on Jan 1st 2008 but they want to do monthly comparison reporting in SAP (Jan 07 and Jan 08), then they need to convert 2007 data. If they want 2006, they need to load that too. Etc.
For FI-AA, if the customer wants to view data back to 2006 you would have to change the takeover date to that year and adjust the data as well (accumulated depreciation).
