Missing videos in iCloud

Hello
I'm having an issue accessing videos (or rather TV shows) that I've previously purchased now that I'm set up on my new MacBook Pro.  When I go to my iTunes library > tv shows, I'm told that shows I've purchased will appear when I sign into the iTunes store.  So I sign into the iTunes store and sure enough the season I'd purchased shows as "Already purchased"--i.e. I can't redownload it.  However, it still won't appear in my actual library.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated,
Thanks!
And of course ~5 minutes later I manage to get it to work.  Sorry for the redundant post :l

There is no way to view your photos via iCloud.com. Videos are not uploaded.
Photo Stream merely "pushes" the photos to your other devices.

I recently had to swap out my iphone 4s and I am having problems restoring photos and videos from icloud.  When I restored my phone from icloud, half of my pics and videos have been deleted, the pics that were restored on my phone are very blurry, and the videos won't play.  I get a message on my phone that says " the URL you are requesting is not found on this server".  I have erased and reset my phone twice, but every time I do it, more pics and videos are deleted.  I have backed up to icloud and iphoto, however, some of the pics are no longer on iphoto either.  Is there someway to get the videos to play on my phone again?  Make the photos not as blurry as they are now and to restore the pics and videos that have been lost?  I really would love to have them back, this phone is supposed to be the best and right now it doesn't seem to be.  Please help if you can.

I too have noticed that once i restored from iCloud. Pictures blurry and videos wont play!
    Need help too!!

  • How do I download videos from iCloud to my ipad

I placed videos from my iPhone to iCloud.  I want to download those videos to my iPad using the same iCloud account

And exactly how did you place videos into iCloud from your iPad? Photos and videos from the camera roll are stored in your iCloud backup which is only accessible by restoring from the backup.
If you are talking about purchased videos, go to the purchased tab of iTunes on the iPad, tap on Movies, tap on Not on this iPad and if there is a cloud icon next to those videos, you can download them again for free.
if that is not want you are talking about, further explanation from you is needed.

  • HT4858 My iphone5 was stolen (second time) :( How can I recover my photos and videos on icloud? Last time they did not all come back

My iphone5 was stolen (second time) How can I recover my photos and videos on icloud? Last time they did not all come back. Specifically I need photos I took 1 day before it was stolen.

If they are in photo stream and your computer meets the minimum system requirements (OS X 10.7.2 or higher and iPhoto '11 9.4 or later or Aperture 3.4 or later; or Vista SP2 or later if you have a PC), set up iCloud on your computer and enable photo stream, as explained here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/.  You'll get any photo stream photos from the last 30 days.
Camera roll photos are stored in your iCloud backup, and can only be recovered by restoring the entire backup to another iPhone or iPod Touch that is running the same or higher version of iOS as the phone you backed up.

  • How can I backup my music and videos to icloud?

Hello, I want to be able to backup my music and videos to iCloud.
    Is this possible?
    Thanks.
    Anees.

Only media that you purchased from Apple:
The following items are not backed up to iCloud. You can sync these items with a computer using iTunes:
Music, movies and TV shows not purchased from the iTunes Store
Therefore what you purchased is not "backed up". The content remains where it originated - on iTunes.
Apple could easily change its mind and remove it, change it, or simply make it unavailable.
Same thing for iTunes Match I'm afraid... iTunes Match does not back up your content and is therefore not a backup strategy. It finds a "match" in its vast library and permits you to access it.
There have been a lot of complaints from purists who found their mono Beatles tracks were "matched" with stereo equivalents, "explicit" tracks matched with clean, etc.
The bottom line is that iCloud is no substitute for one's own iTunes backup, and a backup / clone of the device containing it.

  • HT204022 Download photos & video from iCloud to iPad?

How to retrieve video from iCloud back to iPad?

What video do you mean?  From an icloud backup?  If so, you can only restore everything, you can't selectively restore just some of the data.
Otherwise, video does't sync to icloud.

  • How can I transfer my videos to iCloud?

  • Where are my videos in ICloud after being backed up in ICloud?

I have done a backup on my Iphone 4s with all my apps, music, pics and videos.  Where in Icloud can I find my pics and videos?  In Itunes the apps and music are there but I just can't find my pics and videos.  Not sure if I have to connect Iphone to the computer with wire and then upload?
    Thanks for any help.

You cannot find your pics and videos in iCloud. You have backed up your iPhone to iCloud, and in iCloud is a big backup file. You can find your backup and you can restore it to your iPhone, but you cannot find individual files withing the backup.
You can restore your iPhone from the backup.
"Here’s a quick list of what exactly is stored in an iPhone Backup:
Various settings from the Settings app data, including Mail and Calendar account settings (but not the actual Mail messages and Calendar events).
    Paired Bluetooth devices.
Safari bookmarks and Safari AutoFill data.
SMS and MMS messages, Notes items, voice memos, and photos and video from the Camera Roll. The one exception is that videos greater than 2 GB are not backed up.
Preferences and data for third-party apps (such as game high scores), but not the apps themselves.
Passwords for Mail and Wi-Fi accounts (from the iPhone’s Keychain file). These passwords will restore only to the same iPhone. If you upgrade to a new device, for example, you must re-enter these passwords on the new device. You may also have to reset your Voicemail password.
A backup does not store photos synced via iTunes nor any iPod music or video."

  • How could i sharing my pc's video to icloud?

I am trying to share my pc video to my icloud account, but i can not!!!!

    Hello Hilal Al Nofali,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
To share a video to iCloud Photo Sharing, it will need to be added to a shared Photo Stream.  Take a look at the following link for more information:

  • HT202786 If I upload a video to iCloud can it not  be downloaded again?

If I upload a video to iCloud can it not  be downloaded again?

    Hi Debi,
Videos (and photos) can be downloaded from iCloud photo sharing. See this article -
iCloud Photo Sharing FAQ - Apple Support
In particular the section Can photos and videos be saved or downloaded from a shared album?
Yes. After photos are shared, anyone who can view the shared album can download and keep them permanently. Videos can only be downloaded to a Mac or PC. On an iOS device, videos are streamed from iCloud and can't be downloaded.
On a compatible iOS device, you can save photos to your Photos tab or Camera Roll.
In iPhoto or Aperture for Mac, you can add or copy shared photos or videos to your Library.
On a Windows PC, you can copy photos and videos from a shared album to any folder.
On the web, you can download photos and videos directly to your computer from the detail view of each photo or video.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
    Best,
    Brett L

  • How to transfer video to iCloud ?

How can I transfer video to iCloud ?

You can't. iCloud does not provide a video gallery or general file storage in the manner of the MobileMe iDisk. You will need to find a third-party alternative - this page examines some options:

  • Uploading MP4 video to iCloud photos fails

I am trying to upload a 25MB MP4 video to iCloud photos yet I keep on receiving an error indicating 'JPEG format only'
I checked that you should be able to upload MP4 videos via iCloud on my PC so I can then view on my iphone 6.
    Can anyone help?

I see this question in a lot of places and in several Apple discussion groups. I've tried a number of the proposed solutions. I have 99GBs to upload. I got about 30GB uploaded twice, but then it kept stalling there (I have plenty of space). The solution that came closest was for me to turn off icloud, shut down Photos, rebuild Photos library (I think it's cntrl + option + double click on Photos icon), then start it all again. This let me get 60GB up fairly quickly, but it's been stuck there for a few days now. I also took my iMac into work and hooked it up to the bigger system there, since many people proposed doing that, assuming that those environments have bigger "pipes."  Anyway, I did all of this, and it's still stuck, uploading maybe one photo every six hours or so.

  • HT5007 upload video to iCloud

    Hello
    2 questions:
How to upload my video to iCloud and share it?
What format should it be before I upload?

Yes and no... iCloud is really at the moment like a "train station". It is a transional place really meant for Pages, Keynote, Numbers, Text Edit, and Preview. You create a document, then save it to icloud, then when your done with it... you move it to its final destination. I usually send the file to a final resting area, either some where on my documents folder or on a network server and my backup file i tend to keep for a little while then either trash the back up or archive the backup. If you want to upload video, or large files to share, use Dropbox or an alternate online storage cloud system.
