Missing Views in MM02 and MM03

Hi MM experts,
One of our end users cannot getting material master views, he is getting only Basic1 and Basic2, but I tried the same material I am getting all the views, he said he was getting all the views last week please help me to solve this issue.

If the use doesnt have authorization then he should get message - The view selection is empty (Message M3702). But he is getting 2 tabs (basic data). Please check if material has been created with other view or not. If everything is correct then check with Basis person for authorization in PFCG tcode.
Check in SU53 for missing auth object and add it manually to the role which corresponds to his material master view authorization and then generate the authorization, save.

My default Oracle JDeveloper 10g Early Access 10.1.3.34.12 is missing "View|Application Navigator" and "View|Connection Navigator" from the View toolbar. Am I simply missing an additional installation or do I not have something configured correctly?

Change the field description of a field in MM01,MM02, and MM03 Transaction

Hi Experts,
I had a requirement to change the field description of a field in MM01,MM02, and MM03. I know how to change the description of field in CMOD. In my requirement they need this new description only in the above mention transaction. So please let me know how we can do this?

Hi you can do this by SPRO transaction. Here you can copy the subscreen where you want the description of the field changed. And in the custom subscreen go to the Element list- >Texts I/O templates , Here you can change the description. After all this the customized subscreen is assigned in the proper sequence. The step by step process is below:
Step 1:
Click on the button u2018SAP Reference IMGu2019. Then follow the path Logistics-General -> Material Master -> Configuring the Material Master. When this particular node is expanded, a drop down list of 7 different executable options appears.
Step 2: Execute the option u2018Create Program for Customized Subscreensu2019
Step 3: Copy the screens required to the custom function group.
Step 4: In transaction SPRO, execute the option u2018Define Structure of Data Screens for each Screen sequenceu2019.
Step 5: Now in transaction SPRO execute the option Assign Screen sequences to User/ Material Type/ Transaction/ Industry Sector.

However, I noticed that apple reminders do not disappear from "all" and "missed" view when dismissed from "today" view of notification center by marking the circle by the reminder. it requires me to take an extra step and click on "all" and then click the "x" to make it completely disappear and clear from notification center.

the behavior I would expect would be that when i click the circle on the "today" view. it would clear it out from the missed and all view so i would not have to clear in 2 areas.

Bug: Universal app input controls (i.e. Start Menu, Task view buttons) ignoring and missing interpretation translating right-click to a left-click to activate context (menu) in universal app web style (similar to oo context menu for oo legacy style).
Bug: Task view: OO context menu: Should show "nothing" (like right-click Start Menu button) - but right click Task view shows the oo context menu for the Task bar (wrong context)
Besides behaving wrongly (should be like right clicking the Start button) ....
the problem is the user is likely to look for actions on that context menu.
However to activate the context menu for this universal app kind of behavior you actually need to left-click the button for the Task view ... and then you get the universal app like context menu.
Microsoft must have been trying to figure out what to do about this kind of voupling mismatch between legacy (right-click) and universal app (left-click) conmtext menus. confusing for users it weill become nevertheless.
But the left-click style supports touch.
One solution though is to support right-click on i.e. Task view and Start button. Thus for new kind (universal app kind-of)input controls - right-click will work (instead of just being ignored) just like left-click. Allthough not a correct left-click
- it will be helpful and interpretive translating the intension of receiving a context. A practical solution with right-click translating into left-click for universal app controls considering that the context menu actually has become a hybrid of left-click
and right-click (with a precedence for left-click though)

How to get the values inputted by the user in Classification view of MM02

Does anyone know how to get the inputted values in Classification view of MM02/MM01? I tried to use CLAF_CLASSIFICATION_OF_OBJECTS but this gets the values that is currently saved in the tables and not the values that the user recently inputted in the screen.

Is there any FM or BAPI Available to find the position of the view in MM02 transaction. I tried FM SELECTION_VIEWS_FIND. But getting inconsistent results
i.e Some materials it is giving correct positions but for others i am getting wrong position. So my BDC is getting failed.

Find the user exits if any after finding keep the break point in the exits and check that cursor is trigrring that exit or not. If it triggers check the value of the salestext exits in the exporting parameters or not.

Adding Index server to existing farm, "Server Farm Product and Patch Status" returned 34 Missing Locally required products and patches

Once I connected my new server to my farm's config db, it returned all of the following missing locally. I stripped out any redundancies and Headings, and I'm left with 43. I'm looking for a efficient strategy. Should I start with the lowest version number
and work my way up? Current DB version is 14.0.7015.1000. IIRC, SP2 is cumulative, so can I ignore the first two (SP1 and Hotfix), install SP2, and then the Language packs and etc on top?

Thanks for ur reply. However, it was not of much help.
The problem now is that, i dont get the suspended case workitems error anymore but, the WF is not doing what it's suppoed to do, i.e., delete the users. The dump shows that all activities and actions are being executed correctly, however, the user still is not deleted. Here are my updated forms and WF

It appears the 15" 2.2 ghz isn't worth spending $400 more for, but you get the 1GB Radeon 6750M that has four times the VRAM than the 15" 2.0Ghz model and about 167% more performance. High settings on all current games with over 50 fps.
If your not into 3D gaming or just light weight, then the 2.0 Ghz (last years performance) will suffice on low-medium settings at about 30 fps.
The 13" is rather poor as it has integrated graphics. 30 fps on only some games.
The high res screen is a excellent choice and the anti-glare is great for viewing just about anywhere.
No messy films to replace at $30-$40 a pop.
A lot of people bring the glossy screens back once they hear about the anti-glare.

In my opinion the extra $400 for another 2-3 years of use out of the computer is worth it.
Quad cores are more than enough for most uses for most people for many years, it's just a slow card is going to make the machine feel slow in rendering graphics in the future.

Logic to get the view in MM02

I would just like to ask if there is an easier way to get the selection views in MM02. There are different views per material and I need to insert the logic in getting the view to a custom program. The custom program will be used for performing a BDC transaction that's why I need to get the logic for the views.

In Firefox 3.6 on Windows you can hide the menu bar via "View > Toolbars" or via the right click context menu on a toolbar.
Press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the menu bar.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the menu bar or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide.
