Missing volume button

Hi!
I would like to ask, that if I have lost one of my volume buttons(as funny as it sounds), than I am able to get somewhere a new one? Or being a rare spare part, I won't be able to find or get one in any kind of service.
Question number two: This problem includes guaranty?

Your best option is to contact a nokia care point and discuss the problem with them. They can fit spare parts and decide if it will be covered under warranty or not.

Number one - that person has given you false information...the Apple store genius bar supports all Apple products whether in or out of warranty. Checking is free, service on an out of warranty item is not free.
Try a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignore the red slider if that appears.
Since you show that you have iOS 7.0.3 you might want to update that iOS to 7.0.4...plug the iPhone in so you are on a solid power source, then while on a WiFi go to Settings > General > Software Update and update to 7.0.4.

Palm Pre Volume Button Missing

My Volume button fell out of my Palm Pre. I went to sprint and they want $100 to replace the phone. All I need is a volume button. I have searched ebay, etc. but does anyone know where I can buy just the volume button? Thanks Rick!!

Show Track Volume button missing

I'm trying to edit clip volumes in the timeline and I have no 'Show Track Volume' button. The button is simply not there. Do I need to enable this button or the the software corrupt?

That depends: what version are you on?
If you're on CC7.x or 2014.x, then right-click in an audio track header, in the vicinity of the Mute and Solo buttons. In the context menu, select "Customize..." Then drag the Track Volume control from the Button Editor to the desired position in the track header.

I have tried the mystical swiping upward on the screen with 4 fingers to get some special sound menu (which I never succeeded in getting). My headphone jack doesn't work all the time either so some times my kids can hear their games and sometimes they can't. I am super frustrated at this point. So any suggestions would be great. Am I missing something basic or do we just have a soundless iPad now?

My iPhone 4 is only 14 months old over dropped very well looke after, one day the lock button stops then the volume buttons, now the headphone port does not work and the battery lasts about 4 hours after full charge I still have a year left on my contract

Who is your carrier and what is your coverage with them? If you are with say Verizon, and have Total Equipment Coverage or Extended Coverage, they will swap it out for you under Manufacturer Warrantee.

I seriously miss the volume button in Skype. I can't mute other people anymore if I'm distracted by them when watching a video or something. And also: Where is the dialpad? Did it just dissappear? I'm sorry Skype, but i seriously hate this update. The only good thing are the new emoticons.

Signal Loss when finger over the volume buttons

I've seen other users on youtube experiencing this issue. When you place your finger around the two volume buttons, the signal on the phone will slowly lose cell phone bars until it goes to "searching for signal". Remove your finger and the cell phone bars will return one by one. Hopefully this is an issue that can be fixed via firmware. I have dropped two calls so far and no I have to hold the phone in an unnatural way to make a call without dropping it.

I have an iphone 4, and i am really impressed.
But there is one thing which could really be improved:
the missing hardware shutter button for photos!
i would immediately purchase the now rejected app "camera+" which used the a volume button for the shutter, but it is not avaliable any more - because it was taken down by apple!
the camera is great, for stills and for video - with the use of hardware buttons it would be even nicer!
i think it should work like this:
1. an option to use "silent mode", "+" and "-" for the camera
2. turn on camera with "silent mode" switch
3. press "+" to take a still
4. press "-" to start/stop record a video
this would be an really impressive minimal style snapshot camera with only three buttons!
so apple please consider your (ridiculous) policy about apps or implement such a feature in a new iOS update.

Use volume button on ZTE Open only for music and not for ringtone/sms/alarm

I wounder if its possible to override the volume button on the device so it dosent change the ringtone and sms volume? I had this feature on iOS where I can set the ringtone and notification volume then a switch that sad "Change with buttons" = true || false.
My Android device (Padfone2) did not have this feature and I end up missing calls and sms because you turn the volume up and down when you browse the web, listening to music ect.
Does someone know if this is possible on my ZTE Open with FFOS 1.1?

So as per stated before, the Ringer & Notification has a different setting than the Alarm, as well as the Telephony voice and the content as well as blue tooth volume.
I agree that it can get rather confusing with which volume is getting affected when. In general if the sound is currently going off, then most likely that is what the volume is controlling. We should probably file a bug on somehow getting the volume controlling less confusing.

Volume buttons don't work on iPhone4S

Suddenly my plus and minus volume buttons do not work. When I press them the 'ringer' icon appears but with no increasing or decreasing white squares when moving the volume up or down. Also, no sound when listening to music or watching videos, yet when I plug in my headphones or play through a bluetooth speaker the sound works perfectly. The phone still rings when someone calls, and when I recieve a text message I still hear a notification. The switch at the side of the phone is not on silent and I have tried every type of reset on the phone without success.
Please tell me there is a solution to this problem! I have tried blowing into the headphone jack and also the charging slot to check for dust and other obstructions. I miss my sound!

I have this same issue. Although I will add some more detail.
When I reboot my phone and enter the passcode I get the clicks and the normal sounds and for a few seconds I can use the + and - to adjust the ringer volume and then the white volume squares dissapear as with mrRobinsons post and I get nothing.
I can also go into sound options in settings and use the plus and minus keys to adjust the ringer volume in the sound screen. Although I must move the volume slider on the screen for this to happen.
Any assistance appreaciated.

Volume button on IPhone4s only works when on a call

iPhone 4S has had no issues till 2 days ago suddenly do hear text tweet sound when get text, cannot hear songs or videos, email send "swish"...basically all sounds gone except hear phone ring and calls ok. Volume button only shows gray icon with bell but sound level indicator does not move unless on a call then ok. Move with buttons is on in settings and phone in ringer mode not on silent. Kicker is when plugged into car via headphone jack with cable or if use ear buds can hear all sounds normally. apple care helped me do system restore with no luck. seems like phone is stuck in headphone mode or has speaker problem? Have cleaned out headphone jack hole, speakers and charging slot. Any ideas?

In a popup screen some field are shown or hidden depending on the G/L account. In the BDCDATA table each field of this were processed even if the value was null.
In the message table the message related to the missing field in the popup screen is type 'S' but data are not saved even if this message is a warning.

Iphone 4 volume buttons not working

iphone 4 volume and mute buttons not working, checked all settings they are all fine and when headphones in it works??? When I take out headphones the volum buttons do not work, when phone rings or text receives only vibrates???? HELP!!!!

This could be due to some debris or dirt inside the headphones jack that makes the iPhone think that the headphones are connected even when they are not.
Try to see if you can clean the jack being very careful, with canned air as sold in electronics store. Some people have been successful by introducing and withdrawing the headphones jack several times in a row to displace whatever is in there if it is lodged in.
Avoid introducing anything else like a pointed object. You could damage the jack.
If all of this does not work, I would try first resetting the phone by holding the home button and the power button together for about 15 seconds or until the whilte apple appears, then waiting until the phone resets. If the problem continues after this, take it to an Apple Store to see what they believe should be done.

Hp envy 6 1040EW audio volume buttons don't work

i have a problem with my HP Envy Ultrabook 1040EW with the volume buttons (f9, f10 and f11 )
they will only work when i have opened the beats audio application or i've clicked on the speaker sign
were you can slide the volume up and down.

Access the BIOS menu and reset the factory defaults.
1.       Shut down the laptop
2.       Restart it and tap the F10 key repeatedly
3.       It should lead you into the BIOS menu
4.       Press F9 to load defaults and then F10 to save and exit
The compuer should then restart and take you back to your main desktop screen. Once there test out those 3 keys.
Please respond back with your results.

This thread concerns IOS 7.1.2. update and the subsequent loss of volume button functionality and use of internal speakers.

It's not a jailbreak phone. The phone is a replacement from Apple and the volume buttons are virtually won't work for certain functions on the phone. Here are the symptoms:
When the volume buttons are pressed on the home screen i get "ringer" and the speaker symbol appear but nothing more (ie. +/- volume)
When playing back from iTunes with no headphones in, I get nothing through the internal speakers, nor do the volume buttons work, nor is the volume slider visable.
When i playback Youtube content with no headphones in, I get nothing through the internal speakers, nor do the volume buttons work, nor is the volume slider visable.
With headphones plugged in sound is audible and volume buttons work.
Whilst using voicemail, (no headphones connected) i can play the message through the speakers and control volume using side buttons.
I have restored the phone and this has not fixed the problem.

It sounds like your Volume buttons aren't working correctly and you are also not getting sound from your built in speaker. I would start by quitting all the running apps on your phone:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
